This was a return visit. 2 weeks previously we had been there and accidentally left our dogs bed. When we rebooked it was in our room waiting for us along with my husbands cap, which we hadn’t realised we’d left! Excellent customer service.

Disappointed by the bathroom with limescale stains in the toilet bowl. And the glasses were cardboard instead of cups. The decor was a bit dated but very recent. The welcome and service were very, very good.

People come back again and again because you feel so at home in this hotel. The welcome is attentive. The rooms are comfortable, both in terms of the bedding and the bathroom. At the table, we food lovers delight in exquisite wines that perfectly complement the dishes we choose. The recommendations are judicious, and the service is attentive and exceptionally kind, just like the welcome. 8

Our request was respected: the room was quiet but located outside the main building, so we had to cover up to go to the restaurant. Otherwise, a nice, quiet room.

Perfect welcome, availability and clear and precise explanations at reception, perfect assistance to the room and perfect course of the stay.

Upon leaving the hotel, I pointed out the problems, so I'm not waiting to publish this review to inform them (I don't know if they've been taken into account). In the bathroom, there was a significant amount of verdigris under the towel warmer (at child height, with towels hanging from it), and the shower head had to be held by hand because the mechanism was broken and it wouldn't stay on the shower rail (not very comfortable). As for the room, the bedding was impeccable and the furnishings comfortable, but regarding the electricity, there was no light when I switched on the two-way light in the entrance, and the two wall lights connected to it didn't work (considering the room price of €125, this is unacceptable). Apart from the person who "welcomed" us for the reservation, all the staff were friendly. As for the restaurant, the evening meal, even though it's described as "gastronomic," a 5cm piece of sea bass fillet on the plate with Brussels sprouts and a portion of grain risotto with candied fennel and shellfish cream is not satisfying. Breakfast, on the other hand, is well worth the price as it is good, hearty, generous, varied, and features local products. Highly recommended. It should be noted that the entire bill is written in English, including the phrases which I assume are expressions of gratitude. It's very unpleasant to prioritize English over French; it would be better to choose according to the customers or to provide both versions.

I prefer not to dwell on a beautiful establishment, but the shell is unfortunately empty.

A charming hotel, very well located in Mortagne, not far from the town center and various places to visit, yet still very quiet. The staff was welcoming and professional in every way. A shame we didn't see the chef to congratulate him :) We'll be back!

Everything was perfect.

The room was a bit small but very charming and had a lovely view in absolute peace and quiet, but the shower was dangerous to get out of without a handrail!

We were given room number 1, where the wallpaper was soiled from wear and tear and the friction of the various pieces of furniture. The baseboards and paint were peeling, indicating a room that did not meet the expected standard for the price. The curtains were stained with fly droppings, and the headboard was so worn that it appeared visibly dirty. The bathroom windowsill was covered in pigeon droppings. While the medieval town is certainly conducive to the presence of birds, this doesn't excuse the need to clean a windowsill when the night costs over €150. Finally, when we entered a room where the Wi-Fi repeater box was placed directly on the floor with its bundle of cables scattered across the carpet, this was not in keeping with the hotel's 3-star standard.

That's exactly what I was expecting.

A very pleasant experience at this hotel. The bedding was perfect, and the dinner was also very good. However, one suggestion: the lighting in the restaurant for dinner wasn't dim enough. We will return.

There is no non-slip mat for the bathtub and no grab bar (for people with reduced mobility) at the toilet and bathtub.

The restaurant was of poor quality for the price. The gravlax was tasteless, the veal fillet had little sauce, and the mushrooms were full of grit. The amuse-bouche was an acidic and bitter gazpacho with olives and a dried-out blood sausage puff pastry. There was a musty smell in the room. We had been to the restaurant twice before and were satisfied, which is why we returned for a birthday celebration.

Diner was smakelijk, maar geen waar voor het geld. Bv, 3 kleine coquilles als hoofddish. Leuk als voorgerecht maar totaal onvoldoende als hoofdgerecht. Wasnzinnige wijn prijzen. Coctail in de lounche, niet eens een olijf of andere versnapering erbij. Kirtom, geen aanrader. Positief is de eerste sfeerindruk bij binnenkomst. Helaas bleek het pretentie die niet wast bleek

We only stayed one night at the Hôtel du Tribunal. Booking through the website was easy, the welcome was very friendly, the room spacious, and the breakfast buffet was full of fresh, local produce. What more could you ask for?!

Very expensive! The food was decent but pricey. The room was very average. The disappointment wasn't with the staff (who were friendly and efficient) but with the value for money.

A great stay

We used to be hotel and restaurant owners, a "Logis de France" establishment; disciples of Escoffier in Savoy. We come from a family of restaurateurs. For a 3-night stay, without having to change the sheets, it might be wise to offer a discounted rate. Just a suggestion. The meal was delicious. Perhaps you could add beef to your menu: you currently have pork and poultry.

Insufficient lighting for reading in the bedroom. Dangerous because the bedroom door is too close to the stairs.

Delighted by this simply magical and calm place. Impeccable hotel service. Just one downside concerning the cardboard cups in the bathroom and the tea and coffee making facilities. But upon simple request, you are given real cups. Regarding access, this establishment does not have a private parking lot, so it can be difficult to park in the shaded square opposite. The restaurant experience, on the other hand, left us rather disappointed.

We loved the hotel. The room was smart, clean and comfortable and staff all extremely friendly and accommodating. The food in the restaurant is outstanding. We will be back!

Welcoming staff. A tired room no 10, peeling paint in bapstained sofa, felt grubby. Paper cups for hot drinks a router flashing above our heads. Couldn’t open windows as faced restock room was hot and sticky, disappointed for the price we paid.

The hotel is perfect!!!

We were satisfied with our 3-day stay in the 38 m² suite. The restaurant was good but a bit pricey. The suite was nice but a little noisy due to the air conditioning units venting outside. The suite lacked air conditioning.

Kevin at Reception was very hospitable and we enjoyed talking with him and being g made so welcome. Disappointed we could not dine alfresco on our stay but understand the request was at short notice. Restaurant dinner service was 1st class. Breakfast was a little disappointing and staffing was not adequate. We found the external steps up to our 1st floor room difficult to manage and easy to trip., concert was not forgiving - perhaps some better lighting would help. Our outside balcony was lovely, only shame that the room was a little smaller than we had expected.

I spent about ten days at this hotel. The welcome, service, and comfort were all perfect. The restaurant lacks a bit of variety when you're staying for a few days, and we'd like to have less sophisticated culinary options!

Room 6 was quite small, and its 140cm bed was also very small...not very well ventilated on this hot day.

You are going to (passing through) Mortagne-au-Perche, then stop at the hotel-restaurant "Le Tribunal" (Place du Palais). Charming hotel with shaded terrace; attentive welcome; pleasant room (sufficiently spacious and quiet). The restaurant (indoor or outdoor) with, of course, different and excellent menus that will satisfy you (the starter, superb copious foie gras accompanied by a delicious sweet Pacherenc at maturity, was enough to satisfy our hunger... and we still had the main course and the equally delicious dessert to taste). The cuisine is refined without too much "painting" on the plate (when I want to see painting, I go to the museum!). The friendly and competent staff, young in sommellerie but loving their work and with whom it is pleasant to talk... about wine! Congratulations.

We know this hotel well, and it has improved even more since we took over about two years ago.

We really like the Hôtel du Tribunal and stay there regularly. Just one comment about the breakfast, which is excellent in every way except for the Richard tea bags, which are really not good at all.

A warm and professional team. This beautiful hotel has incredible potential which, with a few improvements to service (fridge, spa) and decor (refreshing some bathrooms, wallpaper), would deserve an extra star. The restaurant chef is perfect, with a special mention for the desserts.

Beware of parking spaces! Insufficient. Beware of cold meals served due to poor communication between waiters and the kitchen!! Despite the IR lights? Not in the kitchen. Beware of the Wi-Fi boxes in some rooms, which are very annoying due to the flashing green LEDs!!

A big thank you to all the team members for their kindness, availability and professionalism. We had a great weekend in this charming hotel where the room, clean and pleasant, had excellent bedding. A large choice is offered at breakfast and the 2 dinners we had were simply delicious, based on local and seasonal products... (special mention for the Tiramisu apples calvados pecans, a real treat!!) I recommend this establishment without hesitation

Dinner in the breakfast room due to lack of space in the restaurant: small tables and more ordinary decor. Wine list a little short in Burgundy, wines on the list out of stock and little choice by the glass. A somewhat imprecise waiter, a very attentive waitress.

We were very pleased with our stay, a big thank you to all the teams for their welcome snd professionalism. 2 small disappointments: the thalasso bathtub did not work in the bathroom + it would be nice to have a real coffee machine in the room. The rest was perfect.

Everything was perfect. However, a small comment: My wife and I had the Langoustine Ravioles as a starter and we both found that the sauce was too strong, breaking the balance of the dish by masking the other flavors somewhat... But that is obviously a personal opinion. On the other hand, your black pudding... What a marvel...

This is a very good hotel indeed. We had the suite (Room 3), very comfortable and large, with 2 sofas a big wardrobe room and a good sized bathroom and a comfortable bed. The restaurant serves wonderful food and has an excellent wine list. All the staff throughout the hotel are extremely friendly and efficient. There is free parking right outside the hotel. The medieval town is very attractive.

We stayed one night on our way back to the UK. Lovely hotel in an old building. Very comfortable room. Slightly odd to have a bath rather than a shower but not an issue. Exceptionally good food at dinner. Good selection at the buffet breakfast. Easy parking. I am sure we will return. Recommended.

Excellent food. By far the best of the 3 Logis we stayed at during our holiday.

Our only problem was that in the absence of a lift we had to carry luggage (aided by staff) up to the 3rd floor (not something we would do again!)
