Just opposite the hotel, take all the time you need to visit the Romanesque basilica of Fleury, which houses the remains of St Benedict.Another Romanesque jewel is to be found in Germigny des Prés (5km) where the carolingian church houses the Ark of the Covenant and its mosaic. 8km away, the medieval castle of Sully sur Loire delights visitors with its towers and its brightly coloured drapes. Slightly further afield, discover the Chateau of Gien and its international hunting museum, the pond of Lorris wood, or the splendid grounds of the Chateau of Châteauneuf sur Loire. A little further again, don't miss Chateau of Chamerolles and of course the city of Orléans with its magnificent town halle, the "Hotel Groslot", top quality museums and a superbly renovated old town centre. Given that St Benoit sur Loire is in a setting of exceptional quality on the banks of the Loire, it is only natural that Hotel du Labrador is one of the points of passage on the Loire cycle route.

Wenn man bei offenem Fenster schlafen will, dann in der 1. Etage, weil man die Fenster nicht kippen kann!
Sehr ärgerlich war, das wir als Hotelgäste keinen Tisch im Hotelrestaurant bekamen!
L'hôtel est au calme dans un petit village, à 20 minutes de Rennes. Accès facile, parking également dans les rues alentours.
L'accueil est professionnel et agréable. Mais un peu déçu par la chambre, petite et vieillotte ; l'hôtel demanderait une très sérieuse rénovation.
Le petit déjeuner est minimaliste, servi à la volée au coin du bar, très peu de choix.
Par contre, je recommande le restaurant, une cuisine de qualité et chaque jour renouvelée même pour la soirée étape avec le menu le plus simple, c'est un point très positif !

a perfect location in a delightful little village
Hôtel parfait en tout point. Situé idéalement tout près de la magnifique Abbaye de Saint-Benoit-sur-Loire et à quelques pas de la Loire. À quelques kilomètres se trouve le majestueux château de Sully-sur-Loire. Un séjour qui allie sérénité et histoire ! L’ accueil de qualité des propriétaires de l’hôtel est à souligner. Je recommande vivement !

Chambre non refaite sous prétexte de covid...!!!

Der erste Eindruck vom Haus war sehr enttäuschend. Kaputte Fenster und Fensterläden, alles schmutzig. - Doch um die Ecke war der Neubau, recht modern und zwckmäßig, insgesamt ein schönes Ambiente. An der Rezeption eine alte Dame, die uns auf Nachfrage, ob wir Duschen und Zähne putzen wollen, Seife, Shampoo und Zahnpitzbecher überreicht. Au h die Fernbedienung für den Fernseher dürfen wir mit auf das Zimmer nehmen.
Das Frühstück mehr als enttäuschend: Kein Gedeck auf dem Tisch, nur Selbstbedienung, Pappbecher für Kaffee, Milch und Orangensaft. Mini Baguette und Minicroissants, zum Glück etwas Schinken Käse und Butter.... Es wäre besser, man würde dieses Hotel aus dem Verband der Logis ausschließen, um den Reisenden diese Enttäuschung zu ersparen.
The reception was unfriendly. It seems she don't like us, while we were an friendly old couple. There was no restauration. We have to go to the restaurant Madeleine. There diner was good and also the service.
