a no-frills hotel, but you feel at home, the welcome is wonderful
A superb hotel! Fantastic location and very nice people. Great value. I have stayed in many hotels but this is the best, suited me perfectly, lovely room with balcony view into gorge and restaurant/ bar on site. Parking for my motorcycle out front. Perfect!

The hotel and its restaurant are in a fantastic location. Perched on a canyon wall, it offers breathtaking views of the Verdon. From the overhanging terrace, you can look out and admire the surrounding nature. A medium-low difficulty trail starts from the hotel, descending through the forest to the Verdon. Delicious dinners and excellent breakfasts. The very kind Contin, who also speaks Italian, continues the family tradition of creating this special place over the last century. We'll be back!
Worn bedding (mattress sags due to advanced wear), restaurant service a bit too pushy from the manager. I didn't understand the point of paying such a high half-board supplement if it meant not having access to the menus that are on the restaurant menu.
The view is stunning. This was our reason for choosing this hotel. The place is a bit dated. Something upgraded would be more appropriate to the truly extraordinary location.
The staff kindly fulfilled our request for a sandwich to take away for our early morning departure. It had to be ham, because "it is traditional!"
A unique view, a very good meal and a very warm welcome
The place is magical, the room comfortable and clean. The service is friendly and dedicated. It's not a palace, but it's truly a unique place...at the end of the world, atypical and incredible! A timeless experience.

A warm welcome, even if a little late for a half-board stay, our dinner was waiting for us. Simple and effective local cuisine.
The location is magnificent in the Gorges de Verdon, the hotel is old, the room has lots of cobwebs on the ceiling, the staff is very friendly and kind, but it does not correspond to a 3***
The hotel is highly recommended for its magnificent and impressive view of the Verdon, the calm atmosphere, and the kindness of the staff. For the price, the amenities are a bit disappointing: small rooms, unrefined or unimaginative dishes, and a breakfast lacking in variety.
