Room 04 I am thinking of renovating
A warm welcome, spacious room at the back with a garden view and quiet as desired. For a 3 star hotel, there is no courtesy tray in the room. September evenings are already cool. The sheet alone is a bit insufficient and the duvet in the wardrobe without a cover is perhaps a bit too much. On the other hand, meals are served on the terrace. But the 1960s Formica style breakfast room is not great. These are details. I enjoyed my night and the excellent meal. In the description, we talk about a loggia: it is a small corner: living room: with terrace table and 2 chairs overlooking the garden.
A tastefully renovated hotel; good-sized, quiet room overlooking the garden; nicely decorated restaurant and excellent dinner. Very welcoming staff.
Positives: Beautiful, charming, renovated room, parking, good restaurant, and excellent service. Negatives: Reception closed upon our arrival at 3 p.m. as mentioned on the reservation confirmation. We waited outside for more than 2 hours until it opened. Poor reception and reservation not registered; we had to do some research to find it. No goodwill gesture to remedy these inconveniences. No towels at the pool; we had to take the ones from the room, and broken umbrellas. Problem at checkout because we had to really insist to have the American Express payment accepted. In summary, we do not recommend and will not return.

A comfortable hotel with all the facilities to relax, it's a shame that in summer it's closed on Sundays.
Having left for 4 days to discover Conques in Rouergue and the Soulage Museum, we chose the Hôtel du Commerce because it is a Logis Hôtel and we appreciate this category of hotels where we find comfort and quality of service. We chose this hotel which is well-centered for what we wanted to visit knowing that we did not want to be accommodated in Rodez which is a fairly large city. We returned home after these 4 days and 3 nights, very satisfied with our stay. The hotel is very comfortable, it is bright, and carefully managed. The hotel team is particularly charming, smiling, and welcoming. It is very pleasant. The restaurant side receives the same praise. Succulent, varied dishes, very well cooked with good products. Excellent service. Attentive staff. Good cocktails, wine by the glass very well served. You will understand why we came back delighted. Add that the department is beautiful. Tranquil. Full of landscaped and village treasures. Many of the Most Beautiful Villages in France.

Everything was perfect, the environment (near the city center, nearby parking), the decoration and cleanliness of the hotel, the quality of the restaurant, the welcome and friendliness of the staff, I recommend 100%
The evening meal was very good. Except that the tables were too close together... I could hear the conversations at the two tables 30 cm away from me... a bit stifling. Hotel where the noise is very minimal. Spacious room
Nice welcome, breakfast is a little light, the same plate of cheese every morning, jars of jam that stick. The cleaning is done quickly, I think the people in place will have to make an effort. We had a good stay. Seen in other accommodations no coffee machine.

Voor ons was dit een tussenstop voor één nacht.
Het personeel was vriendelijk. We hebben avonds een diner gehad. Prima voor elkaar. Maar een chef die zo goed kan koken met vlees zou dat ook vegetarisch moeten kunnen.Mijn dochter is vegetariër. De kamers zijn zeer gedateerd. Het ontbijt was sober.
Het plafond van de badkamers (wij hadden twee aangrenzende kamers) zat schimmel. Het matras in een kamer was slecht van kwaliteit.
