Very pleasant stay, nothing to complain about. The only problem is the price of the meal which remains expensive. The quality, presentation and flavor are there, it is indisputable, but remain expensive. A half-board menu would have been more accessible for me.
Calm Comfort Quality of bedding
One night stay with family, we are very satisfied and only have one reservation regarding the bed linen which was not smooth cotton but gathered which is (for us) not very pleasant on the skin . But it’s a detail considering the warm welcome, the exceptional location and the quality of the breakfast products 😉

A quiet location with beautiful surroundings. Friendly and helpful staff. Good food, but would go for the a la carte next time, rather than the half-board offer. Safe parking for our motorcycle. Lovely walks in the local area, including the Pas de Roland / alongside the river Nive. Wonderful.

Stay of 3 nights in this hotel, good bedding in 160, wc and bathroom very close where nothing is missing. Room with beautiful view. Restaurant 1 evening à la carte meal starter main course succulent dessert. 1 evening half board very good. WILL RETURN WITH PLEASURE to this pretty corner. Thank you to the whole restaurant team. I recommend the hotel just a little noisy because we were on the first floor and we could slightly hear the people in the restaurant. But also not the location of the hotel is really quiet. Great for a one night stopover.
Hotel located in a quiet area near the village church and the hills. Joy view of the surrounding hills and the church. I recommend the outdoor restaurant, very pleasant. Only downside is the insulation of the interior walls between our room and the adjoining room.
Excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We also dined in the hotel restaurant. The dinner at Le Chêne restaurant was the best of our vacation. The dishes are excellent, original and served with a smile. In addition, the setting of the terrace is superb. We really recommend this restaurant which is worth the detour!

· A great find in a wonderful location. While the hotel is a 2 star, accommodation is fine. Very clean rooms and shower worked perfectly. No air-con, but a large fan provided and as near the mountains the temperature dips in the early hours, so windows ajar!
The restaurant is what sets this hotel apart. Both alfresco or inside dinning off a varied menu offering a selection of starters , mains and puddings along with a great choice of wines!
Service was excellent and along with a fantastic jazz band (Friday night) to accompany dinner ,a super place to stay.
Did not have opportunity for breakfast as we had to leave early to head to St.Malo.
Car parking is safe and secure with hotel dedicated parking both at the front & across the road in private area.
While we had limited time, the area is ideal for keen walkers / trekkers as lots of options to discover the wonderful scenery.
Overall great value and would recommend a stay, especially Friday/Weekend.

Nous étions des habitués de cet hotel. Il semble que la direction ait changé il y a quelque mois. Nous avons étés surpris négativement par certains points :
- manque de professionnalisme (par exemple hotel fermé à 17h, obligé de faire le tour pour appeler quelqu'un aux cuisines)
- même si l'on aime les animaux, on peut s'étonner que les 2 chiens de la direction soient toujours présents à nos pieds, en particulier pour le petit déjeuner
- le restaurant ne fonctionne qu'à partir du Mercredi soir, et le Jeudi soir proposait seulement des tapas, sans autre alternative
Point positif, la direction et le personnel semblent faire des efforts...
Excellent stay! We appreciated the location of the hotel, starting on foot for beautiful hikes. The restaurant's cuisine is excellent: we recommend the pork chop for 2.... The choice to work with small producers is a credit to the new hoteliers and it's a real treat for customers! The jazz concert every Friday evening is also a very good idea!

We enjoyed our stay. The food was delicious and everyone was friendly. It reminded me of my travels through Europe in the 80s lots of personal touches and pride in the Inn. I would highly recommend for families. Bathrooms and bedrooms have been updated.
