We are writing to Booking .COM to complain. We arrived at this Logis and at first thought it was derelict , nothing like its photos The blinds were broken, tatty and filthy dirty The rear courtyard was very neglectd No reception simply a key with our name on it .Interior so dated and tatty .We did not stay and found a different Hotel.This place should not be called a Logis .We expect a full refund .

A quiet, unpretentious stopover in this unpretentious and authentic establishment. Don't come here for a gourmet meal, but you'll be well-fed in the small, eclectic restaurant, with simple, home-style cooking.

Bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly. Decor is generally tired. Dining room lacks atmosphere.

I've stayed there several times and I'm happy to return. The welcome is always perfect, and the food is simple and good. The rooms are a little dated, but it's a family hotel, not a large, charmless chain. I sleep well there, and that's the most important thing for me. Another important point when it's cold: the room is well heated, there's an electric radiator that you can adjust to your liking. In short, a nice hotel.

It's not bad, just a little lacking in hot water...

We received a very warm, courteous welcome during our stay. The food was excellent. The staff were always ready to help. We'll be back.

Welcome by the owner of the tobacco bar in the absence of a person from the hotel. Very smiling and welcoming. I had access to my room immediately. Rustic but good dinner. Breakfast on the other hand was not that. Bread butter jam croissant chocolate roll you don't have to be diabetic (I am). Fat and sugar. Nothing salty except a laughing cow.

Het hotel past in omgeving. Het hotel heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, est met smaak gerenoveerd, heel schoon en beter dan sommige 4 Sterren hotels!

À l’hôtel du Chemin des Dames l’accueil est vrai. On est accueilli au sens noble du mot ! On y dort dans le calme et on y mange de délicieux plats fait maison !

staff nice and helpful with my very late arrival. breakfast ok. room I hated! it was very old fashioned with hideous lighting and decoration, smelt of cleaning products and the en suite bathroom smelt of drains.

Retro hotel, quiet in village 25 km from Laon. Simple, correct comfort. Honest cuisine. Secure parking. Ideal hotel for a stopover. We will return.

Overall pleasant stay and friendly welcome. On the other hand, the condition of the window in our room left more than to be desired. Difficult opening which only knows the direction.**** Please note that a lamp was missing from the bedroom chandelier.

Very friendly waitress who welcomed us into the restaurant. Ron’s indifferent. Clean but a bit weird. Extra tv on floor, no hospitality tray - kettle, milk, water glasses would have been nice. No smoking hotel- good, but table for smokers outside room so smoke came in at 6am. Dinner quite nice, but salad not properly washed so gritty. Friendly. Handy for routes south and the Alps.

Excellent! The cuisine, simple but excellent. The welcome and the service ditto. The charm of a family hotel. Small downside on the average bedding, but we sleep well nonetheless. The icing on the cake remains, the unbeatable quality/price ratio

Initially greeted in an adjoining bar but we were extremely tired after a long walk. The lady looking after us was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. 11/10 though I don’t know her name

Rooms very good. Food was fine, but not "gourmet", hence just four stars. Same goes for wine. Front of house and waitress were excellent.

We arrived to find keys laid out for various expected clients. The room was very small, musty and dirty. The twin beds were small childrens' beds - totally unacceptable. We tried ringing the number left for reception - no answer. We had no option but to leave an go elsewhere.

Perfect welcome, very clean establishment. Two points disappointed me a little, but not serious: -The quality of the bedding, not very comfortable and a simple blanket not sufficient (in thickness and size) for what concerns me. -Having to run a very large quantity of water before hot water arrives. I didn't mind waiting, but it's a shame to have to waste so much water. For the rest, I recommend and will renew my stay if my travels bring me to the region again.
