Heerlijk hotel,

This logis is in an attractive historic manoir less than one minute from the autoroute. The service is efficient and friendly. The rooms are comfortable and warm. The restaurant is large but too cold in the winter and the although the rooms are well priced the menu is expensive. It has become more expensive during the last year and fewer guests eat in the restaurant. During the summer there is a pleasant terrace overlooking the grounds.

Very helpful friendly staff particularly the lady on reception. Our room was very comfortable, the shower floor is slippery when wet - so less able bodied folks beware, the bath takes forever to fill up but is great once full - these are minor points.

Always a good overnight stay with a nice restaurant

Fijn hotel-restaurant in bosrijke omgeving. In bos achter hotel is een kleine wandelroute uitgezet.

As with our previous stays, we really enjoyed our time at Valaudran and took full advantage of our stay: friendly and attentive staff, beautiful room, superb environment and excellent cuisine. Two small drawbacks: • in particular, the corridors and the room smelled less good than usual when we arrived. Perhaps because of the cleaning products used? • the duvet was not very pleasant (too hot, we sweat a lot).

A beautiful, quiet location, very close to the motorway exit. We received a friendly and professional welcome. The accommodation and food were of high quality. We really appreciated the autumnal calm of the hotel's forest after a long drive.

Well done and thank you

The room was very small, the bathroom had no storage space, and there was no shower screen. If you opened the window, anyone could walk right into your room. There was also no full-length mirror. In short, little luxury for €149. The dinner prices were very high for the quality of the food.

This is our favourite night stop on our way to and from the south of France. The accommodation is good, clean and comfortable but for us, the highlight is the restaurant. We always enjoy our dinner there. Excellent quality and delicious!

It's a shame not to validate the stopover evening for a business trip, because it was booked as a single room on the site. This lowers the quality/price ratio.

The hotel is in a lovely location with gardens and woods for walking. There is a good swimming pool as well. We found the service in the restaurant very slow unfortunately and overall pricey for the experience.

Pleasant room, beautiful grounds, classy restaurant with delicious food, perfect service, and fine wines. The breakfast buffet in the morning was also very tasty and had a wide selection. If we travel to Spain again next year, we will definitely stop by!

Beautiful hotel, with a great park, great facilities, and with direct access to a forest with trails. Very calm while close to the highway. Food and service are very good. I highly recommend!

Absolutely charming and very helpful staff. The hotel restaurant is excellent and the service perfect. One small downside was the cleaning of the room. The bed was not made, the blanket was just turned down.

The room was a bit small (big enough for two), but the color scheme and furnishings complemented the building. Beautifully done. The bed and bathroom were perfect. The restaurant was excellent! We had the set menu for 50 euros, and the food was beautifully presented and delicious. The staff were extremely friendly!

The staff are available and know how to adapt to the clientele. The location is quiet and the spaces are pleasant. Be careful, there were a lot of dogs this weekend, some of them in the hotel. Some dogs barked in the morning (7:30 a.m.). Not easy to manage. Management can be perceived as a bit tense, but the work is done and very satisfactory. Be sure to empty the outdoor trash can on the parking lot side; it was overflowing.

We were stopping overnight on our trip south. It was perfect for our needs. We wanted a comfortable hotel with a good restaurant close to the A71. It more than met our needs and we will be returning.

It was my second stay and just as enjoyable as the first. After a long drive from London, it was good to arrive, and relax with a wonderful meal served on the terrace in the evening. The well chosen menu and excellent wine list is one reason why I like staying here-the friendly restaurant staff is another.

Pleasant stay in this beautiful hotel. The welcome and staff were attentive and attentive to their guests. The room was clean and comfortable. The bedding was soft and high-quality. However, we were placed in a ground floor room, at our request, as there is no elevator in the hotel and we had a lot of luggage. However, they forgot to tell us that it was a room configured for disabled people. The shower room floor flooded very quickly due to the specific installation of the equipment. We had to mop up to access the sink, which was also leaking. The receptionist kindly offered to change rooms, but we were already settled in and declined the offer.

I highly recommend the Domaine de Valaudran, for its setting (greenery, calm), for its rooms (comfort, decoration) and its restaurant (chic, gastronomic), without forgetting its location (motorway access, 200km from Paris, Châteaux of the Loire...)

top team, don't change a thing!

It's a Logis de France so I wasn't expecting wonders. The receptionist shows you the way to your room without bothering to accompany you or get up from her chair. Smiling is optional. There is a fairly pronounced smell of sewage from the entrance. Otherwise the room is very small but clean and the view of the garden is very nice. No noise outside so very calm and relaxing.

Restaurant bill much too high for dishes costing more than €40, we expected another level of cuisine. Traces of blood poorly cleaned on the sheets. Bathroom socket limited in power, the hair straightener did not work.

Overall an excellent stop over location, close to the A71. Lovely hotel, great restaurant and a comfortable bed.

Delight and serenity

A friendly establishment, very pleasant as were the staff. Better soundproofing of the rooms would be appreciated. Everything else was perfect.

Dinner was excellent but breakfast a little disappointing for the price - not up to the quality of the dinner. The sink in the bathroom had no plug - it would be so easy to drop something in the gaping hole

I’ve been staying at this hotel regularly for over 10 years but found the reception this time to be very cold and distant! My room was lovely but disappointed that the bathroom sink didn’t have a plug making washing difficult and only a little toilet paper so had to get a roll from the public toilet.

Very pleasant overnight stay, quiet location with p,entry of style to the building. Rooms have been nicely decorated to add a touch of individuality. Dining room is nice and airy with good seating arrangements. Service is excellent whether at reception on arrival or at the table.

Friendly hotel, just off autoroute but a world away! Amazing restaurant and good accommodation.

We had a good but not total feedback from this hotel. Clean, well located, comfortable beds and generally good. Compared to our departure we had the cleaning staff at the door at 11am sharp, already that left us a little stressed and we left the room at 11:10am. After we went to the reception to leave the key and instead of welcoming us with a smile and asking us how it went, nothing. We left the key and instead of telling us how we wanted to pay (cash or card), the receptionist told us that we forgot to pay!! Thank you Madam for this nice reminder with which we will keep a good memory. It's a shame because the setting is very pretty and the rooms are more or less well equipped. I hope that the staff will be reminded of how to behave with customers in the future.

Very nice establishment and very warm welcome. It was our 2nd stay and it is always such a great experience. Excellent dinner at the restaurant in a beautiful setting and very friendly and smiling service.

30 euros for disappointing breakfast (for two). Horrible coffee. Not very welcoming receptionist and other staff. Good points: beautiful building from the outside, nice garden and swimming pool and great restaurant. Somehow the atmosphere needs an upgrade.

Very beautiful setting! Swimming pool closed from 12 to 2 p.m. not specified when booking. Comfort room a little expensive without air conditioning so you have to take a superior room but extra. Very high window so no view of the park! we were in half-board first night perfect on 08/15 no half-board not warned so improvised meal at the last minute the same vegetables as the day before uncooked carrots and dessert like those on the children's menu! Breakfast 14€ a little expensive for the offer made!

Two stars that I would like to point out to the staff members; Mr. RIADH, waiter at our table, is a pleasant person, full of humor and kindness, particularly with children. There is also good advice for wines and dishes. In short, a person who is very attentive to customer needs. Another star: the gentleman who was exceptionally on duty at reception this Sunday: attentive and keen to help the computer illiterate that I am as much as possible. A particularly warm and attentive person. very clear in his explanations. Only one downside: when we arrived on Saturday, we were informed that the swimming pool was closed: in the middle of summer! We chose your establishment for the swimming pool! Big disappointment for the children! I find that your establishment could/could have made a commercial gesture to compensate for what was a very big inconvenience!

Hair in the shower and not just one!!

Domain de Valaudran is een is een mooi hotel net naast de snelweg. De service is prima, het eten en ontbijt heerlijk. De parking is naast het hotel en huisdieren zijn welkom. Wij hadden hier een heerlijke relaxte overnachting tijdens onze doorreis.

Beautiful location arriving through the tree lined avenue! We loved the gardens and swimming pool, it was very relaxing. Dog friendly. Rooms were good, clean and beds comfortable. Maybe a little warm There was a fan though.

Good stay, recently redone room, nice decoration. Disappointed with the shower (room 9): attachment of the head too high, faulty flow. Breakfast: no choice of bread (only baguette), espresso machine broken, buffet a little light.

This stay was generally OK, with however one incident during the night: between 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. a person began to knock heavily, several times and very loudly on the door of a neighboring room without that someone from the hotel intervenes. Furthermore, the person who was at reception when we arrived forgot to smile. The catering staff are completely pleasant, smiling and helpful, which brings our experience of the catering to a very high level.

- No drinks service outside of meals. You have to look for the lady at reception if you can hope to drink something. - very small upstairs bedroom and 80cm wide single beds. This is a child's bed size. I almost fell out of bed! - good dinner but high price for a menu with a supplement of 6€ if you take the meat. Fast server. Overall a mixed opinion because the service, the size of the room and the bedding are not up to par. Very beautiful environment with a beautiful park & forest which was very appreciated traveling with our dog.

For many years, still very good!

Cold room because no heating even though it was 13c outside.

Very friendly, attentive and attentive team. Varied breakfast but be careful, you have to go there before 9:30 a.m. to get the full service. But we will keep the address for a future visit.

The whole thing is really very decent, it would be nice for business travelers to have a room with a desk. Bedroom 2, the desk is stuck between the wall and the bed, which is not functional. For TV, it's impossible to change the sound level, which is a shame.

For our second stay, we are still just as satisfied...

Very nice hotel, welcoming staff

Beautiful environment, im so pleased i chose this hotel. I was late because of an accident on the motorway and long delays. I was warmly welcomed and best of all the restaurant was still open.

A beautiful residence at the end of a driveway lined with beautiful trees. Access is not easy to find when you don't come from Paris by highway. The staircase to access the room on the 2nd floor is a little steep for seniors with their luggage. The bedroom in the attic offers just enough space to feel comfortable. The well-appointed restaurant room with its large bay windows offers a pleasant view of the exterior.

Very good hotel, the setting is magnificent. We booked the executive room. The bedding is of very good quality, we slept very well and peacefully. The decor is tastefully done. We will definitely come back. Perfect breakfast, large choice of jams, fresh bread, croissants...

Clean hotel, friendly staff, pleasant stay

I the room we had I felt was not up to standard as out previous stays. The room was very cold on arrival. Shower grouting black

This is a good hotel very close to the autoroute junction. The rooms are comfortable. The service is friendly and efficient.

Apart from a few small annoying details when taking possession of the room (no telephone, TV remote control which can only be used if you have looked at the hotel's descriptive book, start-up card for the electricity difficult to introduce in the dark) the whole is pleasant and the owner efficient and friendly. A la carte dinner according to my wishes and fast service. On the other hand, I did not appreciate the "self-service" principle for breakfast and the device for preparing a boiled egg which was not very efficient. It will be changed, I was told.

Please note that some rooms are without windows! fortunately the hotel was not full. Fancy catering but expensive and uninteresting. Breakfast way too expensive for the service.
