Reservation made and validated on the site. I arrive at the hotel on D-Day, no lights closed doors, no one answers Tel. A shame to offer a room while the hotel is closed. No one responds to emails to refund me.
Quiet hotel, good welcome and good restaurant
Excellent value for money, recently renovated, comfortable bedding, evening stopover with varied and quality dinner, ideal if there was a kettle in the room.

A hotel that I recommend without hesitation for the quality of the welcome and the family room that we occupied for 2 nights. Comfortable bedding, spotless and spacious bathroom (shower). Separate toilets. 2 single beds in secure mezzanine. Nothing to say except praise.
Only a one night stopover but very clean and well presented.. Friendly and helpful staff.
Excellent telephone reception as on site Pleasant room. Perfect breakfast.

Nous n'avons pas reconnu la qualité habituelle du label "Logis de France"....Pas d'accueil physique mais par téléphone avec une personne qui manifestement avait autre chose à faire...Elle n'était pas à l'écoute et s'est autorisée à me couper la parole sur une de mes questions, elle était très péremptoire ex : faites la photo du code d'accès...
Petit déjeuner en salle commune sans demande du pass-sanitaire alors même que nous sommes dans une période de résurgence (5ème vague), serveuse non masquée, confiture en vrac non protégées...
Le restaurant était fermé sans que nous en ayons été préalablement informés !.Bref de manière générale pas au top !

Ouverture de l'accueil affichée pour 7h15, personne à 7h45!!!! Salle de petits déjeuners close à la même heure!!!
Par ailleurs j'avais contacté l'hôtel pour réserver par téléphone = message par répondeur, puis par mail: j'attends encore une réponse de la par de la direction!!!!!!
Dommage
Toujours très bien accueillis. Depuis de nombreuses années, nous n'avons jamais été déçus. Depuis notre séjour de l'année dernière, les deux chambres que nous avons eues ont été refaites. Très belles.

We booked this hotel on line while travelling, and were told that there was a room available.When we arrived at 17:30, the hotel was locked (despite a notice saying the hotel would have someone there from 17:00) and there was a phone number on the door to call. We did that, and were told by the woman who answered that she had no record of the Logis booking and that she did not have any vacancies. This despite there being only 4 cars in the ca park and very little sign of life.
Aucun accueil, personne non présente à notre arrivée (obliger de les contacter par téléphone) pas de restauration sur place puisque le restaurant était fermé, pas de distributeur de boissons heureusement que la chambre était très agréable et spacieuse !!!

tres bon rapport qualité prix (menu 14.5€ le soir avec du fait maison), t une serveuse au top.
j'ai senti que l'hotel était déçu de ma reservation par internet mais la chambre et le repas étaient parfait.
Hôtel tout à fait correct, chambre spacieuse, très propre. Petit déjeuner buffet un peu avare, café pas refait, plus de pain et personnel pas enclin à en remettre, un seul nutella solitaire, apparemment crainte que l'on puisse rester trop longtemps et manger davantage. Ou reprendre du nutella qui coûte cher.
Bien pour une séjour étape.
Une étape de choix sur BRESSUIRE. J'ai été très satisfait de mon séjours de deux jours.

Hello, I had booked a room online for the night of March 30 to 31, 2023, at the HOTEL DES TROIS MARCHANDS. On a business trip, I arrived at the hotel at 5:30 p.m. to settle in and work for a few hours in my room before going to dinner in the town of Bressuire. To my surprise, no car was present in the parking lot of the hotel, the hotel was closed (closed doors and lights off inside). I walked around the establishment to see if anyone was there. Nobody, absolutely nobody! I then saw on the front door, the opening hours of the hotel which curiously indicated and among other things, open from 5:00 p.m. on weekdays with a telephone number to call in the event of a request for information. So I dialed this number and after several tries, a woman answered me and told me that they were on their way to the hotel. Then expressing my concern to see no one, I took on a haughty tone, a reflection that I had to be a little more patient. Once there, a couple opened the door for me and I was finally able to enter the reception, I expected at least an apology but instead, I received a new reflection in the same tone and like what, I quote: "at 5:30 p.m., (30 minutes late after the opening time indicated) people are working Sir! It's normal not to see anyone on the site and the hotel car park". Amazing ! I then allowed myself to tell them that I too was working and that it was not up to customers to wait for the hotel to open its doors but rather to the hotel staff to be present and to welcome people who arrived. . In addition I made them notice the delay which they had taken compared to the indications on the door. In view of the unpleasant and execrable behavior of this couple (apparently the boss and the boss) and the dwindling confidence in the quality of the establishment, I decided not to stay in this hotel! Having understood that I wouldn't stay, I then had myself thrown outright verbally by the two fanatics! Tired from the road and vexed with the situation, at 6:00 p.m. I had to hastily look for a new room from my car, which I managed to do, fortunately. I strongly advise you not to stay at this HOTEL DES TROIS MARCHANDS! Unless you want to go back in time and confront yourself with real incompetents! For all practical purposes. William.
