Nett war, dass man den Kühlschrank des Hauses für seine eigenen Getränke nutzen konnte und dieses auch auf der Terrasse verzehren durfte.
Statt ganzes Frühstück konnte man auch gegen kleines Entgelt nur Kaffee oder Tee bekommen.

Très bon accueil mais rue bruyante. Impossible de dormir avec les fenêtres ouvertes, en tout cas pas le samedi soir. Même avec les fenêtres fermées, on entend les gens au mieux discuter, au pire crier dans la rue. Sinon, la chambre est spacieuse et confortable, la salle de bains aussi et le petit déjeuner copieux. Une jeune fille très aimable nous a accueillis et un monsieur très gentil également était à l’accueil au moment du départ.

After leaving England at 0500 we arrived at Hotel des Oliviers just before 2100 hours only to be told we did not have a booking. The fact that you sent an email asking how we enjoyed our stay on the day we should have left suggests there is something majorly wrong with your booking system. Apart from the stress of being turned away after 17 hours of travel and very late in the eveining, we were left seriously out of pocket in our attempts to find an alternative at very short notice. We also had to forgo an evening meal!

They created a parkingspace for our motorbikes!!!
One smal thing the litterbox in the bathroom wasn't empty..and the toiletroll was on backwards.
Further a perfect stay!

Die Zimmer sind ansprechend! Leider waren beim Frühstück sehr viele Wespen! Die durch die offene Terrasentür hereinkamen.

The bedspread was stained and the TV was very dark. All functions were blocked, making it impossible to adjust anything.

Nice room, the mattress seemed different from the one we had during our first stay, in fact it bounced when we turned over. A small suggestion is to install a socket above the table because if you want to work with a computer it is better that the battery is full. The seals around the bathtub need to be reviewed, which are very black in this room, number 18. That's why I rated the quality of the accommodation and the cleanliness as "good".

The welcome was perfect, and our request was listened to, and we were given free 24/7 parking a 5-minute walk away. The first small downside was the TV, which needed a little adjustment; the picture was very dark. The second downside was that the bathroom has a bathtub, and when you shower, it's slippery. In short, everything is perfect.

Simple and welcoming hotel with excellent value for money and a great breakfast. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable, so I was able to sleep peacefully. A booking problem caused by the software was promptly resolved. I would certainly recommend the hotel, although perhaps not in the summer, due to the lack of air conditioning, especially for the rooms overlooking the pedestrian street, which could be excessively hot and perhaps noisy.

Well-located hotel, warm and attentive welcome. We really enjoyed the breakfast atmosphere. Our only wish is (if work is planned) to replace the bathtubs with shower trays. But this in no way detracts from our very good rating, which we highly recommend.

A great hotel. Friendly service, and the bike storage is top-notch. The location is also great. Unfortunately, we only had one large and one small towel, and a few hairs in the bathroom. That was a shame, and the carpet didn't smell very nice.

Friendly and efficient welcome and service staff. Public parking Turenne 200 m away, paying but very inexpensive (free at night and Sunday). Access by car via the pedestrian streets to the hotel is quite easy to drop off luggage.

We spent 3 nights in this hotel. Very warm welcome, smiling cleaning lady (it's a change from some hotels. Just a shame to be woken up by what's happening in the street and in the neighboring rooms (creaking bed and floor).

Brief pleasant stay. Hotel well located in the city center. Proximity to several free parking lots. Our room was very quiet, clean, with comfortable bedding. Good reception. Breakfast at 10€ very correct. Conclusion: very good value for money. We recommend.

Passing through Thionville in December, this central hotel allowed us to live without a car. Welcomed by the charming and caring owners, the hotel is full of charm, the rooms pleasant, clean and quiet. I highly recommend it. For people who have difficulty climbing the 3 floors, just specify that you want a room on the first floor. The hotel is not accessible to people with reduced mobility, it is subject to an exemption due to its historical character, which intensifies its charm.

The hotel is run by a welcoming and attentive family who also serve breakfast. Apart from a few hairs on the duvet upon arrival, the rooms are clean.

Negative at best: 3 floors without elevator with spiral staircase in our Group 1 young person and 3 of a certain age.. No assistance with luggage and parking not too close. I would not return...

Hotel well located in a pedestrian street without noise at night. Public parking nearby and free from Saturday 5 p.m. to Monday morning 9 a.m. The only point to note: rooms on 3 levels without elevator, the reception being on the 1st floor.

Just the top of the toilet is broken, it needs to be changed, nothing serious, it's very clean, nothing to complain about

The location is very good and the person in the reception (the only one I had contact with) was really nice. It has no elevator, I didn't realize that, and I get a room in the last floor (3rd) very uncomfortable. The room has not enough plugs. The bathroom was full of hairs on the floor.

Used to staying at Best Western where you are very well received, we tried to change the Hotel des Oliviers which I recommend, for its cleanliness and the kindness of the staff. Excellent value for money.. small anecdote, I made a mistake in the arrival date that I was able to correct just as quickly in the confirmation email of my reservation, because I was speaking to a person and not a computer thank you Mrs. Hélène

Very well located hotel, the République car park - admittedly paying for the day - is perfect, a few meters away. There are lots of shops, places to eat, the train station is within walking distance. The only downside is the stairs in the hotel. The reception is on the 1st floor, no elevator possible because of the narrowness of the place, so not very accessible. Check-in and check-out were done efficiently and quickly, I appreciate that. The room was correct, I find it excellent value for money, there is space, a fairly large bathroom, a small wardrobe, a television and there was even a fan just in case... the bedding is perhaps a little soft, the pillows a little too soft, and there was still dust in some places, but for a 2-star hotel in Thionville in a super well located location, frankly I am very satisfied. Maybe a kettle or something for water would be missing, there is a microwave available as well as a fridge, only I did not dare to test it. The wifi is perfect. Being able to play in the evening without having any slowdowns is great! Because I found an arachnid in the bathroom and I am arachnophobic I only put 4 stars out of 5 for the bathroom...! brrr

Very good value for money. Hotel in an old building in the inner city in the pedestrian zone with a terrace in the inner courtyard. Bicycle room also in the inner courtyard. Everything was better than expected. Breakfast was well organized and reasonably good.

Well located hotel, in the city center with a guarded parking lot less than 5 minutes away, shops and restaurants nearby. Family atmosphere, in the hotel, the owners are very welcoming and available.

The room was unbearably hot, without AC and we were not offered any compensation. The bathroom was very moldy. The breakfast wasn't good. There wasn't even baguette. Overall the hotel is just too old to offer anything but the most. Basic of accommodation. The price is too high for this.

As described, there is no parking at the hotel and it is not free. Only at certain times! Reception and rooms can only be reached via stairs. Service is super friendly. Breakfast is good for French standards

This is a comfortable budget hotel located in the heart of Thionville. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well without any external noises. Since it doesn't have a lift a luggage lift up the stairwell would be nice as would electrical sockets next to the bed.

Decent hotel and service commensurate with the price. Breakfast to be reviewed (even if the variety of bread was good) for example to have eggs. The partnership with the restaurant needs to be reviewed because the restaurant is well decorated but in terms of quality, this is not the case (high price for mixed quality: pizza with few condiments even if the dough was very good and for a price 17 euros per pizza!) I think there are bistros that could offer better partners.

Great hotel for a stopover on the return journey from the south of France or Spain. Simple but clean, perhaps not the most up-to-date furnishings, but this is offset by an attractive rate. Covered parking is available in the nearby Capucins garage, also here at a very reasonable rate for the evening and night.

The room was large, lots of hanging/storage space, great bathroom. Everything was super clean! Comfortable and plentiful breakfast. The nicely designed terrace was also nice. Good location in the pedestrian zone, lots of restaurants within walking distance. The host was very friendly and helpful. The parking for motorbikes in the hotel courtyard was also great. We felt very comfortable, unfortunately we were only there for an overnight stay.
