The city is under construction and this poses an accessibility problem. For salespeople, if they cannot benefit from an evening stopover with a restaurant on site, it would be necessary to have the possibility of having a meal tray because around the establishment, in the off-season, there are only three restaurants outside the budget for a salesperson and the last available restaurant (brasserie type) is overflowing…. Unless you want to spend 2 hours there for a main course and dessert after a day of work and a 2-hour drive. The telephone network coverage is poor in the area to complete everything.

A very special "small" but large hotel steeped in history. Lovingly furnished, expertly run, guests lack nothing. Add to that the central location in this beautiful town with an unexpectedly large, idyllic garden. We highly recommend it!

Cramped room

A wonderful place, you have to see the garden and the glass roof. Breakfast and bedding are top notch!

The dog of the owner has bitten one of us while leaving the car park of the hotel. Unbelievable that this dog can run free on the car park of the hotel guests. The staff of the hotel informed us upfront that the dog would bark so we had to be careful !!!!!
But they forgot to tell us that the dog also bites people !!!!!!!!
Room and bath room need a complete renovation

Very charming hotel until one remark in these autumnal times not having heating in the bathroom is unpleasant and in the breakfast room which is in this case very beautiful This is the limit of these eco-responsible hotels

Excellent welcome, very nice setting and good comfort. However, the stairs are awkward and narrow. Remember to mention any mobility issues, even minor ones, when booking.

The price-quality ratio is questionable; the "standard" rooms are very small. However, the €16 breakfast is worth it. It's simple, delicious, and the setting is magnificent. The morning calm is also very welcome.

Accompanied by a dog, the welcome I received was great. Easy to park on the street. The only downside was the breakfast set-up, which took a bit of time, but was quickly forgotten by the quality, choice, and quantity of the products on offer. I'll be back.

The staff is welcoming and attentive to the well-being of its guests. For those who appreciate it, the hotel also offers a variety of massages. There is no private parking, but it is very easy to park for free in the surrounding streets. Well-located, Les Fuchsias allows you to discover many of the Cotentin's sites, including the island of Tatihou (boat a few minutes' walk away), which is a must-see.

One-night stay for an occasion and we were upgraded. A warm welcome, a clean room, good breakfast. Beautiful garden! Overall, the place is very pleasant. Garden with a variety of incredible plants, a real green setting arranged with taste and know-how. When we pushed the door we did not expect this little paradise. We recommend it without hesitation. Thanks again to the manager, a member of the family who upgraded us without any special request.

we were made very welcome in this charming hotel. Rooms were spotless, beds comfortable, breakfast simply stunning with a wide range of food on offer including delicious homemade cakes. The dining room overlooks a beautiful garden filled with exotic plants, an oasis of calm.
We were on motorbikes and were allowed to park in the front courtyard. However, beware as the cobbles are very uneven and in case of rain would be slippery.

Brilliant. Lovely hotel, very well maintained with beautiful grounds. We really enjoyed our stay here and was probably the best of all the Logis hotels we stayed in during our 8 week trip. We will return.
Sad that there is no longer a restaurant due to the lack of availability of suitable chefs but I would sooner have nothing than some tourist menu pretending to be what it's not.
Be warned, the stairs are steep!

The interior garden was unfortunately under renovation but already very promising. It will certainly be superb this summer. Friendly welcome, good breakfast under a magnificent veranda. We recommend this hotel.

Access to the room by a "spiral" staircase that is as impractical as possible, very narrow and steep (high steps), on two floors, in short! climbing..... Then a "prestige" room with insufficient central heating (warm radiators) with a supplement by a very uncomfortable and noisy electric fan heater. In addition, from the window, an uninteresting view of the back of the houses in the neighborhood. As a result, although we had booked for two nights, we left the next morning.... "paying for both nights" -- There are no small profits.--

Second stay still as pleasant at Fushias. The establishment retains the charm of its history by offering a level of quality that meets current requirements. The garden is magnificent. The breakfast is excellent and the desire to offer excellent local products and short circuits is appreciable. The establishment is also committed to a sustainable development approach to be commended. A small miss for us on a promotional offer but nothing serious. As for St Vaast la Hougue, it is a haven of rest whatever the weather.

A very warm welcome, beautiful house and grounds in a very convenient location, with nearby parking. The rooms were excellent, well appointed with everything you need and beautifully furnished in a sympathetic style to the age of the building. The breakfast used mainly local ingredients and was high quality with a wide range of options.

The staff were exceptionally considerate and accommodating to us, given the very uncertain time of our arrival after a long journey. They were friendly, helpful and welcoming before, and during our stay. We have been visiting this hotel for about thirty years and will definitely be returning.

Charming and friendly hotel. Comfy bed and lovely breakfast. No problem parking. However, a couple of slight niggles - I had a room with a bath and it was impossible to keep the shower water IN the bath and not all over the floor. I would much have preferred a proper walk-in shower. Also, my room key was impossible to turn - needs fixing.

This is a lovely hotel well positioned in St Vaast. The economy rooms are very bijou but adequate. The rooms in the annex are much bigger. The breakfast was amazing and the crumble and rice pudding was delicious. The stairs were very steep in the main building

We had heard about this hotel and were interested to find out more. However, the ‘comfortable’ bedroom was pokey with nowhere to sit comfortably. Having said that, the shower worked well and the water was hot; the bed was comfortable. It would have been nice to take advantage of the garden by sitting in it with a drink but we were told the bar was not available as a massage was taking place. Breakfast was ok except for the fresh fruit which had all been turned over ripe by the black bananas.

A lively, authentic French experience in a lovely setting and amazing garden.

Great location. Although our 3 rooms were dated they were clean with comfortable beds. The shower rooms were very small but adequate with good water pressure and almost instant hot water. The conservatory room is very pleasant and the garden is a lovely bonus. The continental breakfast was excellent. Lots of choice and somr nice touches with the local honey and juice. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. We had three rooms and each of us said we would love to return.

The hotel was fine. Our bathroom had quite a bit of mold along the wall under the sink and we needed to keep the bathroom door closed because of the very strong mold smell. I did address this our first morning but unfortunately nothing was done to rectify this problem. At our departure, I mentioned it again so that future guests will not inhale mold spores. It a shame that this could not be cleaned when we mentioned it.

We spent 2 very pleasant days. The staff takes great care. We had the pleasure of chatting with the gardener and the entire team is really welcoming, smiling, and very kind. We felt a bit like home. The garden is splendid with these little relaxation areas.
