A truly highly recommended hotel. Ideally located in the village, with a professional and friendly welcome, a spacious and comfortable room, a beautiful garden, and a very varied breakfast with excellent products. It's a must-stay in St Vaast la Hougue, and we will definitely return without hesitation.

The eco-friendly approach is perfect. The hotel setting features a superb glass roof overlooking a lovely garden, and the breakfast, made with local products, is excellent. The staff is very professional and friendly, making it easy to chat with them.

This was the third time we have stayed at the Fuschia. It has a modern but old school French charm. The rooms are well furnished, many with view over the courtyard garden. Unfortunately, we didnt have time for breakfast but from previous experice, breakfast is a feast and well worth the money. The Hotel is in a superb location in the middle of the town with easy access to the port, the shops, bars and restaurants. In addition, there are some great walks and Saint Vaast is a great location for exploring the Cotentin peninsula

A warm welcome, we were given a more spacious room than expected, and the breakfast was excellent. The entire hotel is quiet (few cars at night) and well located in relation to the port and the city center. I highly recommend this hotel, which also has a beautiful garden.

A lovely, charming hotel in a peaceful setting, with a lush garden that's superb even in winter. They have a very thoughtful and consistent approach to sustainability (hand soap is very practical, towels are provided, heating is efficient, etc.). The city is under construction and this poses an accessibility problem. For salespeople, if they cannot benefit from an evening stopover with a restaurant on site, it would be necessary to have the possibility of having a meal tray because around the establishment, in the off-season, there are only three restaurants outside the budget for a salesperson and the last available restaurant (brasserie type) is overflowing…. Unless you want to spend 2 hours there for a main course and dessert after a day of work and a 2-hour drive. The telephone network coverage is poor in the area to complete everything.

Cramped room

A wonderful place, you have to see the garden and the glass roof. Breakfast and bedding are top notch!

The dog of the owner has bitten one of us while leaving the car park of the hotel. Unbelievable that this dog can run free on the car park of the hotel guests. The staff of the hotel informed us upfront that the dog would bark so we had to be careful !!!!!
But they forgot to tell us that the dog also bites people !!!!!!!!
Room and bath room need a complete renovation

Very charming hotel until one remark in these autumnal times not having heating in the bathroom is unpleasant and in the breakfast room which is in this case very beautiful This is the limit of these eco-responsible hotels

This is our second stay at the Hôtel des Fuchsias, which we first discovered in July 2020 during the Covid lockdown. A charming, quiet, and comfortable hotel, very well located in the heart of Saint-Vasst-la-Hougue. Impeccable welcome and service. Exceptional breakfast, with high-quality products, some homemade. Our only regret: that the hotel restaurant had closed; it was an excellent place to eat.

Excellent welcome, very nice setting and good comfort. However, the stairs are awkward and narrow. Remember to mention any mobility issues, even minor ones, when booking.

The price-quality ratio is questionable; the "standard" rooms are very small. However, the €16 breakfast is worth it. It's simple, delicious, and the setting is magnificent. The morning calm is also very welcome.

Accompanied by a dog, the welcome I received was great. Easy to park on the street. The only downside was the breakfast set-up, which took a bit of time, but was quickly forgotten by the quality, choice, and quantity of the products on offer. I'll be back.

A little paradise in the center of Saint Vaast la Hougue, this hotel, with its peaceful and tastefully decorated exotic garden, is an ideal place after a day of sightseeing. It offers delicious regional and homemade products for breakfast, which can be enjoyed on the terrace, and the opportunity to have a drink and enjoy a pastry in this beautiful green setting. The staff is welcoming and attentive to the well-being of its guests. For those who appreciate it, the hotel also offers a variety of massages. There is no private parking, but it is very easy to park for free in the surrounding streets. Well-located, Les Fuchsias allows you to discover many of the Cotentin's sites, including the island of Tatihou (boat a few minutes' walk away), which is a must-see.

One-night stay for an occasion and we were upgraded. A warm welcome, a clean room, good breakfast. Beautiful garden! Overall, the place is very pleasant. we were made very welcome in this charming hotel. Rooms were spotless, beds comfortable, breakfast simply stunning with a wide range of food on offer including delicious homemade cakes. The dining room overlooks a beautiful garden filled with exotic plants, an oasis of calm.
We were on motorbikes and were allowed to park in the front courtyard. However, beware as the cobbles are very uneven and in case of rain would be slippery.

A charming family hotel. The garden is still as beautiful and exotic as ever. Very comfortable, recently renovated room. A generous breakfast with local produce and homemade pastries and jams. A wonderful team that is very attentive to our well-being.

Brilliant. Lovely hotel, very well maintained with beautiful grounds. We really enjoyed our stay here and was probably the best of all the Logis hotels we stayed in during our 8 week trip. We will return.
Sad that there is no longer a restaurant due to the lack of availability of suitable chefs but I would sooner have nothing than some tourist menu pretending to be what it's not.
Be warned, the stairs are steep!

The interior garden was unfortunately under renovation but already very promising. It will certainly be superb this summer. Friendly welcome, good breakfast under a magnificent veranda. We recommend this hotel.
