A rancid smell was noticeable throughout the hotel. The entrance was very old fashioned with dirty carpets. The bathroom (shower) had many traces of mold. The restaurant was very unsociable with bright and unnatural colors. The bed was good, the breakfast too.
Poorly designed Italian shower, flooding up to the threshold of the bathroom. Room a little small. Clean, welcoming, great breakfast.
Good experience, I recommend the Hotel des Deux Forts.
Friendly welcome. Very large room, modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Good beds. The food in the restaurant is good. Breakfast buffet is good.

Somewhat disappointed by our visit. We arrived at 19.45 having been delayed 2 hours by the farmers’ protests on the motorway. We had been phoned by the receptionist at 19.00 to say that she was going home, our key would be in the door of the room and that the hotel front door was open. No one was on duty. Good security or what? She also told us that the restaurant was closed for the annual holidays despite the confirmation email stating that they would be pleased to welcome us for dinner. Not best pleased. The room was perfectly adequate, clean etc. No kettle, fridge or welcome tray. Shower could do with some grout cleaner, the shower head rail had been removed and towel rail not working. Breakfast was fine.

Very clean rooms! Functionally furnished, good enough for one or two nights.
Very comfortable room, soundproofing with the corridor that could be improved (just next to the elevator). A bottle of water would have been appreciated especially in this heat wave. On the other hand, the restaurant menu was of poor quality, it was not really cooking. Passable beef carpaccio, any poultry, very small portion of uninteresting vegetables, inedible fries. Dessert: an acid coulis, an industrial chocolate. Poor value for money wine list. At breakfast, no seasonal fruit, but apple, orange, lemon! (in July!)
