Very well located in the city centre
This was our second stay at this hotel, which we discovered last year for business. We booked again. The welcome was really friendly, the owners are very helpful, pleasant, and attentive. The breakfast staff were excellent. My only slight complaint is that I would have preferred eggs for breakfast.
An extraordinary hotel: its location, the charm and comfort of its rooms, and the warmth of the welcome were all absolutely perfect. And on top of that, the excellent tourist advice!
I rarely leave comments, but here everything is really nice, the welcome, the charm of the hotel (which is also very clean), the location, and on top of that, very close parking at a preferential rate.

The rooms are comfortable. The only slight drawback: no power outlets near the beds. Kudos to the team for the quality of service.

The rooms are a bit dated, with a lack of power outlets next to the bed, for example, but this is largely offset by the quality of the hotel's service and welcome.

Great location!, excellent staff, added advantage if you are on two wheels as there is free parking for motorbikes. Note that there was no air-conditioning in the room I was in but the ceiling fan was adequate in August. It is not a modern building so there can be sounds for the neighbouring rooms.

The breakfast buffet is a little light on choice for my taste. I'm sorry for the late reply, as I was busy with chores after coming back to Japan. This is my second time staying at Hotel des Chateaux de la Loire in 8 years. This hotel is a family-run hotel with a homey feel. It's the best hotel, close to the station, restaurants, and the Tours University (which was my destination). The price is also attractive for travelers from Japan. I'd like to stay here again.
