The room is clean, the bedding is of good quality and the welcome is impeccable. On the other hand: the curtains are not blackout enough, no door on the shower (we put water everywhere), nothing to put things on in the bathroom, no toilet paper dispenser. And above all it is very noisy, we feel like we are with the neighbors .... Our room was located in another building (Hôtel de la Chasse) located 100m from the reception at the back of a building whose accesses are not welcoming. Breakfast is in the reception building (100m) and the lunch buffet is very limited: there is almost nothing savory offered (ham and cheese that's all). We would have liked to have been informed of all these details before our reservation.

It was fine for a one night stay. It met our needs.
The welcome is very friendly. Small problem with the additional 10€ requested for an arrival early in the afternoon when we had to be in Orcival at 3pm. Also note that we were not warned beforehand that the hotel does not have a lift and my husband has complicated mobility

A real room for three with a spacious bathroom. But a dark room with only a French window opening onto the laundry room, a service staircase and the hum of the vents. So zero security if you leave the door open to air... it's very limited. However, the night was also quite expensive. The previous nights and for an equivalent price we enjoyed a hearty breakfast.

Welcoming and smiling staff available. There is no air conditioner or fan although it was very hot in the room. Bedroom door too small especially for adults, you have to bend over each time when you enter and leave the room. No elevator for those upstairs. Cozy and well-equipped room. Terrace outside on the side of the road. Overall correct.

Access to the hotel room: obstacle course at night (no lighting in the street and the small passage, and exterior access to the rooms is very basic, and borderline dangerous (at night). Room at 27°C at midnight (the shutter having remained open all day), and no air conditioning or ventilation!
Too noisy... Unfortunately I have to honestly say that we can hear everything! The neighbors on the right, on the left, above... The pipes, the TV, the footsteps on the creaky floor... In short, it's difficult to sleep.

Clean room overall quite small and lack of clarity breakfast a little expensive compared to what is offered and overall price expensive for what is offered also you have to cross the village square to go to breakfast in the morning narrow dirt road before returning to the room

The room we had does not correspond to the photos posted on the site. No photos of the bathrooms, normal because they are very small and dilapidated. A small shower tray with mold, gerflor floor which has largely served its time. poor TV reception and poor soundproofing. On the other hand, the staff is welcoming and friendly and the meal is decent.
Overall satisfactory, no wifi in the room despite our report. Towels a little worn, a bath sheet was torn with use.

Kamer is ok. Badkamer ook. Wel gehorig. Anwege houten vloeren en kerk🤓. Avondeten was echt slecht. Hele droge kip en gebakken aardappeltjes en een eetlepel groente. Voorafje was 2 soorten vleeswaar en eetlepel sla en mandje stokbrood van de dag ervoor. Toetje was zoals wij het noemen in Nederland verloren brood… echt geen 22,00 euro waard. ‘‘s morgens geen douche kunnen nemen want alleen maar koud water. En dat voor 100 euro!! Ontbijt hebben we niet meer genomen want wat ik zag was ook niet veel voor die prijs. Nee, wij komen hier niet meer.
I would just have one comment about the catering during our overnight stay when we take our order at 7:35 p.m. and we serve other people before and the starter is presented to us at 8:15 p.m. I think I was kind not to do derogatory remark. Otherwise the rest is still satisfactory.

I reserved 2 hotel rooms for my employees. The hotel was supposedly full. They slept in an apartment 300 m from the hotel. Rooms not insulated, not equipped. There was sand in the beds The reception was dismal.

This hotel is an insider tip. Lovingly run with absolute perfection in the restaurant!!! You don't expect anything great in such a small place. The interior is typically French, small and fine, simple and yet overwhelming. The Hotel de la Poste and its great team will see us again soon
Everything is perfect
Very friendly welcome. Our meal at the restaurant was excellent. Downside about the room: we could clearly hear the lady calling in the room next door. So lack of sound insulation. The breakfast was ok although a salty note would have been nice. On the other hand, the room is not really adequate if the hotel is full because we were a little cramped. Despite everything, we remain with a very positive opinion.
