The bathroom had an empty shampoo dispenser; also no hot water until 07.00.
The restaurant menu had limited choice and the quality did not meet expectations compared to many previous experiences in various Logis hotels.
We were not made to feel welcome by the lady ‘manager’ who offered us to sit outside until she realised how windy it was. The bar had a choice of only two white wines and one red wine.
Stayed for a single to break up the trip down to the south west. Lovely staff, we tried our best to speak the language and were helped along by the staff, they didn't let us off too easily which was great! Room was great, clean and tidy, TV, fan and great shower!
The food was amazing, excellent taste, presentation and I thought good value. Same for breakfast. There was an electric car charger intl the main car park which was handy for a morning charge, wish I'd seen it before for an overnight full charge, my fault. The only issue which was a minor one, was the squeaky pull out double bed, it doesn't help the kids had it and wiggle a lot anyway. Would return again and spend two nights to explore the area.

Everything was just excellent.
Person who received us not very pleasant. Good and spacious room. Headboard to review it moves a lot. Poorly isolated from other rooms. We heard the whole movie from an adjoining room. No flap. In my opinion breakfast start time too late. Start 7am for people who have to leave after that's fair.

Pity they don’t have an earlier booking in time. 18.00 is quite late after a long day cycling. They provided a no choice menu as the restaurant is closed on Monday. Staff were wonderful and food good. My husband does not eat meat so the main Course caused difficulty. However the staff with an effort sorted him out a meal.

Welcome by a very pleasant employee, spacious room, good bedding, quiet. The excellent meal, served by a very pleasant and competent employee. On the other hand, the breakfast to be reviewed, hard chopsticks, multi-tasking waitress shares the buffet and the rooms..
Very nice stop to end our vacation. A very warm welcome was reserved for us and the dinner was perfect. We will come back with pleasure.
No hot water for the shower and no compensation or apologies
very warm welcome exceptional restaurant and the small village of Mèle sur Sarthe nice to visit, do not forget to pass by the church and the tour of the small body of water.
We had a great overnight stay here on our way South. The room was excellent, staff very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was fantastic, as well as the evening meal. I would definitely recommend a stay here and hope we can visit again soon. Thank you so much!
The breakfast was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the lightly boiled eggs. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is just about right when driving through France to Spain.

Excellent welcome and quality services. We unfortunately had a disrespectful family in the next room who were "alone in the world". The hotel has nothing to do with it and it is unfortunately a recurring and insoluble problem of simple education in life in society...
Pleasant stay in this hotel for one night with breakfast
We chose this hotel because of its accessibility to our holiday route. We stayed one night to break our journey and we’re really pleased with the hotel overall. The staff were all extremely polite, welcoming & helpful (including carrying our bag upstairs as there is no lift). We were glad to be on the first floor as we would have struggled with the stairs if any higher - this is the only disadvantage of the hotel. We had an excellent evening meal in the restaurant and breakfast was also good, although I would have liked the option of a fruit salad or similar rather than the ham/cheese option. The room was spotlessly clean, well decorated and a good size. My only complaint was that the single bed (room 4) was extremely uncomfortable - it seemed to have a ridge in the middle & sloping sides which meant each time I turned I felt I was falling out. This did not negate the overall experience, which was very good. We would certainly choose to stay here again if in this location, but might choose a different room/bed option next time.
The highlight of this hotel is really its restaurant service!
As we were only there for one night it was adequate. We would not have liked to have stayed longer. The room was small and the bathroom was dreadful. I am not what could be described as big person (under 10st), but the shower was like trying to wash in a cupboard with no light. The step up into the bathroom was high and could have been quite dangerous in the night. As we were there on a day France had a holiday, the restaurant was closed but we were kindly offered a meal (there were 3 other couples staying too), for which we were grateful, however the food was not good. Quinoa with a little salmon, followed by a large lump of completely tasteless meat in a watery broth! Dessert was delicious, chocolate mousse.
Excellent establishment. Impressed by the high quality and creativity of the catering. We will come back.
