Nice place to stay in Briançon
The hotel has a charming atmosphere and a good team supporting the guests. For some people it may be a problem that there is no elevator, not for me. Room was equipped with all I needed and more

Cold welcome. A problem with the breakfasts I had booked on the Logis-Hotels website, but we couldn't have them because we had to leave very early. The hotel owner was uncooperative because of a commission issue.
Hôtel Restaurant de la Chaussée a great choice for a 4-day stay in Lyon. Our accommodation was in newly refurbished house across the street from the hotel. We had opted for small accommodation - much more luxurious rooms can be reserved for a modest extra charge are available - which proved to be very satisfactory, especially in that we had a small kitchen with fridge, etc. for our exclusive use.
We had evening meals in the hotel restaurant. Decor, food and service all excellent. Enclosed car parking is available nearby for a very modest price.
The hotel's location is excellent with easy access to the Vauban City and to the Prorel lifts which offers fine walks and panoramic views of Briancon and the surrounding Alpine peaks.
Very friendly staff. Great to have a secure parking space in the busy city. Best sleep I have for a while. Walkable to all areas in the city. Cosy room with lovely snow themed decor and excellent shower. Microwave oven for cooking plus a kettle and toaster. Need to provide your own condiments and tea and coffee.

Very friendly welcome. The room was spacious, clean, and attractive, all wood-panelled. Good-quality linens. The bathroom and shower were comfortable, with hot water and good pressure. Private parking is available. The only downside is the location: convenient because it's central, but in a busy area, so if you keep the windows open, you can hear a lot of noise. With the windows closed, however, the insulation is excellent.

Beautiful Hotel building from 1892, gorgeous interior, very friendly staff and helpful, some french would help as well, but English is fine. Gated parking available, great for motorcycle. Super and breakfast from the restaurant was fantastic.

The hotel is very well located in the city center of Briancon. 500 m walk from the slopes. Faultless, a big thank you! NB: the hair dryer did not work, I forgot to mention it when checking out!

Very kind welcome, very characteristic hotel, cared for in every detail and with a wonderful Christmas atmosphere. Located in a central area with all services nearby and convenient to the ski lifts. We slept in a clean and comfortable apartment, equipped with everything (hair dryer, toaster, microwave, induction hob, fridge, dishwasher) Tres jolie!

Very well located in Briançon, we were in a studio adjoining the hotel, very pretty, mountain decoration. A double bed and a single bed. Kitchenette (microwave, kettle and coffee maker… there were no samples of tea, herbal tea or coffee, so bring your own if you go there). Modern shower (we didn't have hot water in the morning, the water heater had tripped…), separate toilet. Comfortable beds. Too bad there is a shelf just above the pillows, allowing you to plug in devices, but not to sit and read in bed for example. Two armchairs, a pretty old table and a TV complete the whole. In short, with a few adjustments (hot water, tablet, samples of tea and coffee), we really recommend this studio.

Nice hotel, but it was closed when we arrived. We called and they told us to come back in the afternoon. Whoa!
