There was only one set of towels in the bathroom. As we noticed this while reception was still open, it was quickly remedied. As we were planning to have dinner in the attached Logis restaurant "Ecume" anyway, we booked the overnight stay with half board. We were not disappointed. The menu was excellent. We chose this hotel for its central position in Chartres, but we got so much more than that!
As a family run Hôtel the staff/owners took every opportunity to make us welcome and be helpful. They recommended somewhere wonderful to eat one night, and allowed us to join a booked-in party the second night and eat with them.
Our room wasn’t huge, but was comfortable and clean, well provided with a very posh shower!
Breakfast was plentiful and very varied, everything you could want to set you up for the day.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Chartres, you won’t be disappointed
