Excellent hotel staff really welcoming as nd nice.
Basic room, quite small but perfectly adequate
Very pleasant welcome, friendly staff, very good breakfast
room absolutely stank of sigarettes. As a non smoker it was unbrarable, like trying to sleep in an ashtray. All other aspects of the hotel itself were fine, but I did not sleep well as the smell was so bad. There are no smoking signs everywhere, so it is "supposedly" not allowed, but either that is new or they don't actually care.

Fantastic boutique hotel, staff were very driendly and welcoming especially towards our dogs. Very comfy, plenty space for the dog beds on the floor. Breakfast was fresh & more than enough.

We have been put in to a disabled room Room was very run down no carpets ,large repair patches on wall,broken hairdryer in the bathroom, squeaky bathrooms sliding doors.Very noisy room 101 Cleaner start hoovering at 11.30 pm and again around 6 am Breakfast was 7to 10
But 8.45 recertification stop serving breakfast but food was also running low with no replacement
Bed was V shape but with full honesty it wast so bad!

View the hotel's answerI have stayed at this hotel about fifteen times in the last three years. I am English and travel regularly to a second home in the centre of France. The hotel is about ten minutes from the entrance to Channel Tunnel and my impulse was to find a bed that close and a breakfast served from 6.00 am. I found both at the Logis Cottage, but also much more than that. There was no queuing to sign in and the welcome was warm. On the second and subsequent occasions, as is the French way, we had formed a friendship where the staff are interested in your life and you in theirs. They always find time for more chat than the routine of the restaurant demands. The food is good, varied and reasonably priced. There are usually three or four options for each course and the menu changes over time. The bedrooms are comfortable and the corridors silent over night. The parking is illuminated and watched on camera. The ratio quality: price is eccellent.So long as I travel to France and back I intend to eat and sleep in this hotel before and after my seven-hour journey southwards.

Breakfast was limited, with few pastries due to low customer numbers, so it was the bare minimum, and no Nutella when we asked for it. We were really disappointed with the service. The shower tray was too high, and the mattresses were too hard.

The staff were very attentive and truly pleasant. The room was clean and spotless. Dinner delighted our taste buds, as did the generous breakfast. I highly recommend this establishment.

We have been members of Logis for many years and stayed in many Logis hotels. We know the food will be good after our travels. At this hotel the food was poor. One girl was on welcome, taking orders and " cooking" the food. It was nothing any self respecting French guest would eat . Nor us. It was unfair for this girl to be responsible for it all we cancelled our breakfast booking.

Receptionist had an attitude. Didn't seem to care and not a friendly face. Restaurant was closed in evening due to lack of people staying. Had to change rooms due to constant barking from dog in room opposite. Night girl was very friendly and service good getting drink. 2 big beers and a coke for 20 euro seemed expensive
We only use the Cottage Hotel for its location, convenient for the Autoroute to the ferry port. We have used it before (before it became a Logis Hotel). Room 208 has a loose electrical socket (hanging off the wall). We didn't like the cardboard beakers for the tea tray.

Place is ok, it’s clean and the beds were comfy. Noise was an issue with a lot of slamming doors early in the morning. Neither heater worked in the room and the extractor fan was broken. Food in the restaurant was 50/50 with some good and some bad. Concierge was brilliant - the highlight of the hotel.
Quality and price at the pain threshold
If I could give more stars for welcome and service, I would.
My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and frustrating.
1. Unhygienic conditions: The shower curtain had visible mold, which is unacceptable in any accommodation, let alone at this price point. The room itself was very small, cramped, and suffocating. You can easily find much better rooms in this area for the same or lower price.
2. Dishonest and unethical behavior: I was outright scammed by the hotel. I had already paid via Booking.com, so at checkout I expected to pay only the difference. Instead, the hotel demanded the full amount again. Assuming it was a mistake, I trusted them and paid — only to later discover I had been double charged.
When I contacted Booking.com, they told me the hotel initially hadn’t charged the virtual card but later did so after I had already paid in person. This means the hotel knowingly took my money twice. To make matters worse, they completely ignored Booking.com’s repeated attempts to contact them about the issue. As of today, I still haven’t received my refund and have had to open a formal dispute process.
This is not just poor service — it’s dishonest business practice. I would strongly advise anyone considering staying here to look elsewhere. There are far better, cleaner, and more trustworthy options nearby. Save yourself the headache.
For the price, it was extremely mediocre. Grubby carpet, very tired and unloved. Fine if you are paying £25 a night, but not for the price they charged. I wouldn't stay there again.

Disappointing welcome because I received the keys to a room that was occupied. So not very reassuring for the stay if he gives the keys to an occupied room.

We were well received by a pleasant person.. however, we were forced to pay before even seeing the view from the room... We are regular customers of the Logis and this is for the moment the worst room we have had (bathroom, exterior view, 2 power outlets for the whole room, ...)
When you arrive in the room you feel a bit like you're in the 60s with all the mahogany furniture, the mini bathtub where you have to get into the fetal position if you want to enjoy it and even taking a shower is an ordeal because it's so slippery, I almost fell twice. The TV, the antenna wasn't plugged in, I had to do it myself and was directed towards the ceiling so it wasn't easy to watch from the bed. In addition, my wife woke up the next day with lots of bites all over her body 😱😱😱. It was one of the only hotels left with space, we understand why !!!!

Very friendly welcome! The lady at the reception was very smiling and very pleasant! The room was clean, the bed very comfortable, I felt like I was sleeping in a cloud! Very competent staff, I will come back :)
Everyone was kind, hospitable and helpful. We had had a long drive and were exhausted so were pleased to be helped upon arrival and have a room for disabled people assigned to us.
A very good evening, nice dinner and a good night's sleep. That is all we wanted and that is exactly what we got.

We used this hotel for an overnight stay prior to taking an early morning Shuttle. Only a few more minutes drive from the hotel and we were able to enjoy a very good breakfast which was served from 6am.
On arrival we were received by friendly staff and a major bonus were the EV charging points in the car park
A very satisfactory "transit" hotel in terms of value for money. The major weakness is the general soundproofing between rooms. But the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, especially Mandy and Valentin in my case, compensate for many of these weaknesses.
Clean, aging but well-maintained hotel. Needs a refresh; installing air conditioning would be a plus.

It is a budget hotel, but clean, convenient, good staff, the food and drink is sensibly priced. What is there to complain about?
The hotel was clean and functional. The bed was comfortable. Unfortunately the hotel was noisy until late in the evening (12 midnight), so my sleep was disrupted.
Very welcoming and caring staff
Good with staff attentive to customer needs. The receptionist acknowledged my wife's inability to stay the second night due to her medical issue and had us fill out a refund form for the second night.
The room was clean, however very dated. (119). The bathroom really needs up-graded ( especially the sink). The radiators need replaced as very yellow, and walls need painted. The hotel booklet is a great idea,however again needs updating. The channels showing are incorrect. I honesty feel €12,per small dog is excessive. Mibby check prices in the area! We generally would pay that ( if not less for 2).

The fact that I have reduced mobility was not taken into account. A request was made when I booked. Under the pretext that the hotel was full. Which was completely false. And the disabled parking lots were empty. The upstairs shower was difficult to access and very slippery. It was impossible to help me with a handle...

Given some very critical reviews I hesitated to go, but not having found anything better within a reasonable radius... In the end it's OK for a stopover provided you're not too demanding. The bedding is OK but nothing more, the food mediocre, the setting not very exciting and the staff... familiar... two points that particularly bothered me: - the waiter: "we need to talk about the bill". That's a strange way of addressing a customer, as if I were being summoned for some crime or other. Especially since I had already told him that I would pay the bill after the meal... - I order a LEFFE beer. The waiter: "Sir, there's no more Leffe". Well, nothing then. Well I found one! So it went from "not organized" to "not honest" in my mind. Nevertheless, the fundamentals are there for a stopover evening, the room is correct and well heated, and the edible food allows you to survive.

The staff were very good BUT the heating system in the hotel was pathetic. Even the staff were wearing top coats to keep warm. The customers in the restaurant were wearing top coats, including me. The heating could not heat my room!!!!!!!!

Thuis hotel must do what thee promesse. They sau that they have a restaurant 7 in 7. It was closed. When we came back from a restaurant in th town, We see a regular Customer who was eat in the restestaurant, the charchers for electric cars dont work. Whe had chosen this hotel for this two items. When we arrived the chef of the hotel was unfriendly.

Electric sockets hanging off the wall, plug sockets don't work, mould around the shower, bare rooms with no amenities and mismatched furniture, random switches that don't do anything. Gives the place a really run down shabby feel. Like staying in a car boot sale room. Bed small for 2.

Great value for money positioned just outside city centre with secure parking. A short taxi to centre or beach or a long walk. Rooms clean and quiet at back with no views. Dinner menu a bit limited but adequate unless you are vegan or vegaterian. Amazing breakfast. Would recommend for a stop over of 1 or 2 days as Calais has much more to offer than the ferries.

Hotel chosen by default given the low rating. There were no more places left elsewhere or at unreasonable prices this weekend of August 15. Admittedly the decoration is dated but that is the only point to complain about: the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the hotel is quiet and well located. We slept very well.

Hello, thank you to the team for their know-how and interpersonal skills. The hotel is nice overall, however the bedding did not suit me, the bed was too low. For breakfast, it is not possible to eat cold cuts which are only pork, it would be wise to offer poultry, sausages, ham, etc. You have good local cheeses, it is a shame that you offer factory cheeses. No noise in the hotel, which is good. The hotel is in its original condition in the rooms regarding the decoration and the carpet in places is dirty with beautiful stains. The young man at the reception informed me that the hotel is going to have work! It's great! I would like to come back to the breakfast, the pastries are very good and the bread is excellent! I will come back as well as my friends! Think of people who do not eat pork please!

I booked via booking.com for one night for me and my 7 year old son as a pit stop on our way back to Dover. I requested a late check in which they agreed to saying it was no problem as they had a 24 hour reception. So on the day I was meant to check in I rang the hotel to confirm the check in time which they again agreed to. I arrived at the agreed time after driving from Paris only to be told there were no rooms. I showed the confirmation email and the receptionist retrieved my booking but still insisted there were no rooms. I was turned away at 4:00am with my 7 year old son after a four hour drive from Paris even though I provided evidence of my booking and turned up at the agreed time. The receptionist was unapologetic and the whole experience was awful. Do not trust this hotel, do not stay. P.s after all of that they have the audacity to send me an email asking me to rate my stay😂
The room was barely adequate - clearly designed for a single person not a couple. No wifi working in the room. Apparently the chef was on days off and had clearly left food to be reheated under the grill. Dos de cabaillaud was nigh inedible. One member of staff struggling to be receptionist, server, and chef - she did really well and could not have been more charming and willing to help. Same thing at breakfast - but not such good or pleasant service.
Did the job but was old and tired
Really handy for the A16 and Eurotunnel Terminal. Staff really helpful. Rooms are comfortable although the bathroom is a little cramped. Food was excellent, really enjoyed the evening meal, good menu.

Great staff and close to the Eurotunnel
On out outward journey, there were sachets of tea and coffee but no kettle. I had to go down to reception to ask for one. We had booked a double room but there was only one towel, I had to go back to reception to request another bath towel. We have stayed many times and looked forward to the breakfast; this time however the breakfast for very poor in its quality and produce available. Having stayed many, many times, this was our last, we will not be staying again.
A nice hotel ideal for a city trip. There was a parking place, the hotel offered breakfast and in the evening dinner. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Filthy WC. Filthy, moldy shower. Smelly pillow. Terrible food.

Outside of the hotel looks nice . However it claims to have secure parking, this is not the case, no gate or barrier . It claims to be pet friendly but our dogs were not welcome in the bar area at breakfast.
We booked because it had an onsite restaurant, when we arrived we were told we coukdnt have food as it was booked for a private party !!!
The rooms are very tired ,i had the base ,but no kettle !!! . The toilet was very much like something from an old hospital ward facility .
