Friendly welcome, excellent service, comfortable room
Despite an error on my part regarding the booking date, the hostess very kindly changed our overnight stay.
We chose this establishment based on the gift box. We were pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel and the kindness of the people who work there. The meal was a pure delight, all cooked with local products. The breakfast was generous with fresh produce. We recommend this establishment. An address to remember.

'Hôtel Clair Matin – Stay on August 4th The Clair Matin Hotel offers a contrasting experience, between old-world charm and modern touches. Nestled in a green setting, it has appreciable amenities for the comfort of visitors: tennis, swimming pool, spa… These facilities are a real plus for those who wish to relax or practice an activity on site. Rooms and accommodation The rooms are simple and functional, but the imprint of time is felt in the arrangement of the furniture and the decoration. A general refresh would not be too much to harmonize the whole with the more modern facilities of the hotel. Parking Parking remains a weak point: a shed is available to shelter vehicles at night, but other than that, it is a bit of a makeshift system. A clearer and more structured organization would be welcome. Exteriors and park A walk in the park reveals some abandoned areas, which gives an impression of neglect. However, the potential is there to make it a truly charming asset. Dining The restaurant is a pleasant surprise: pleasant atmosphere, menus available on digital tablets, and above all, delicious dishes from starter to dessert. A great success that contrasts with some of the hotel's older aspects. Multimedia A small technical drawback: the TV channel list was supposed to be updated in July, but nothing had been done during our stay. This detail, although minor, demonstrates a lack of follow-up on certain points. In summary, the Clair Matin hotel offers a great experience thanks to its facilities and its restaurant, but would benefit from modernizing its rooms and better maintaining its exteriors to offer a more consistent service. All these points were mentioned when we left the next morning.

A pleasant stay in this welcoming hotel which has retained a family and friendly atmosphere.
We had a room in the hotel annex. Small and old-fashioned room, a tiny bathroom with a sink in a corner where we couldn't put anything, a shelf on the wall and worn towel racks, everything dated from the 1970s. Hotel classified as elegance, we found nothing elegant in this room. The price of the room 126.50€ is not justified, we think that in this price is included the investment for the SPA and the swimming pool but we must think about renovating the rooms. Only positive point: the restaurant, indeed, the food was delicious

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel located in the middle of the woods. The setting is truly superb and relaxing. The lagoon/solarium area is magnificent. The massage was very relaxing, and the masseuse was very friendly. The spa/relaxation area is currently being renovated for greater privacy. Our room had all the necessary comforts, and a small terrace with a view of the forest, superb! The bathroom was modern. The small tray available with a kettle, coffee, tea, and cocoa was very much appreciated. The restaurant's cuisine was delicious, refined, and the dishes very well presented. All the staff are truly attentive to customers and always smiling. I highly recommend this establishment and will gladly return for another romantic stay.

Excellent little corner of the countryside close to the Chambon golf course!! Impeccable and friendly reception!! The rooms are a little small but very comfortable and pleasantly quiet!! The catering is at the top and all the staff strive to please you!! We will return with great pleasure
