The hotel and outside dining area were wonderful and located next to the river. The room was spacious and ok but with a lot of noise from the adjacent street. The modern bathroom was great. The restaurant food quality was great too but the service was very depending on the individual staff member and not consistent during the two days we had dinner. Menu translation in English not available nor staff who could explain in English. The menu was limited to one offer with a fixed 52 Euro price and additional charges for meat. In general you had to ask for everything. Bread for dinner and coffee and bread for breakfast. The breakfast was very limited and the staff not paying any attention to our need for coffee or replenishing the limited offer. Flies got on the products without limitation. We agreed to have breakfast at 9 AM but nothing was ready and even the light wasn’t on. In general the hotel and restaurant can uplift its reputation and rating by a professional training of its staff as the kitchen is doing a great job and deserves a better team to present. My credit card got rejected twice as the reception made a machine mistake. Very annoying as I had to call Visa services and nothing appeared to be wrong with the card. One hour later after departure the card was normally accepted for Swiss toll. So even the departure payment was a hassle.

A very charming old hotel with a beautiful location. It creaks a bit at the doors and in the hallways, and you need to accept that the building is of an older design, but everything is clean and tidy. Our room (facing the river) was absolutely stunning—beautifully and tastefully decorated. Book a room overlooking the river if possible. The dinner was delicious, and the service was excellent throughout our stay. We highly recommend this place.
Such a nice place; very traditionel and comfortable at the same time. We also had both a wonderful lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Our dogs were also warmly welcomed.
Beautiful old building in a beautiful setting. The beds were comfortable, the room clean, and spacious. The lighting in the bathroom could be a bit brighter, and there's no vanity mirror. The food in the restaurant and at breakfast was good, but the breakfast selection was limited. The service desperately needs improvement...
This hotel and restaurant provided a perfect travel experience. The room as large and very comfortable, the entire hotel provided the kind of old world charm and elegance that is hard to find these days, and the dinner we had was exceptional and reasonably priced. Unfortunately, this was only an overnight stop on our way back to the airport. I would have loved to have stayed here for serval days.

We've already stayed here twice. It's idyllically situated by the river, with a beautiful terrace. Great service, outstanding food. Everything is just right here! An excellent base for exploring the Jura. We'd love to come back. Many thanks to the fantastic team!

Die Gastgeberinnen war herzlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer sehr schön und liebevoll eingerichtet. Nur die Türen der anderen Gäste waren etwas laut. Aber da es ein kleines Hotel ist, hat das kaum etwas ausgemacht.
Nice hotel , Very good food & service at dinner & breakfast . Some of the staff were friendly. On arrival the room was quite cold as the weather had changed recently. I tried to put the radiator on to take the chill off the room but it didn`t work. Very comfortable & warm bed .
The only thing I wasn`t happy about was being charged 8.50 Euro for a small glass of LOCAL wine, this was very expensive compared to the other
local wines at Hotels in France & Italy. My wife had 3 small glasses during the evening so it was quite a shock on the bill .
Reception perfect, food unbelievably good!, overnight stay: great, departure: 😔 Unfortunately, the feeling of well-being was spoiled here because the wrong amount (higher!) was debited due to inattention. The excess amount debited was then to be paid by check at the hotel's own bank. Only after explaining it several times in English and being vehement did an acceptable solution for the transfer come about. None of this was a problem - it can happen! However, it is absolutely incomprehensible that the junior manager was completely uninterested and not prepared to take on the task of solving the problem that we had not caused. I would have liked more attention and commitment. The service staff alone showed this. Everything was perfect: until we left. Therefore not a very good rating. Really a real shame!

Charm, nothing but charm, and a top chef and boss!
The hotel is beautiful, the staff, whether in the morning, during the day or in the evening (at the restaurant) takes great care of the customers, the rooms are very good, the bedding: a joy! As for the restaurant, we didn't really know what time we were going to arrive (we were participating in a sporting event) and a table was still reserved for us! The dinner was delicious and the breakfast excellent! A big thank you for this short stay.

An interesting and convincing overnight stop
nothing to complain about, even the doggie is adorable. very good for relaxing, dining well, sleeping well. A real personalized home as we like it (not a standard international chain hotel). Terrace on the banks of the Loue (river), an old stone bridge.
Very friendly and professional personnel.
We were welcomed and accompanied to our rooms by a very friendly employee who was prompt to give us advice and recommendations.
We also had super there and the food was excellent.
Breakfast is home made and built to order.
Wifi connection is much better than usual hotels.
