Establishment to recommend
Charming welcome, room with a view as indicated, spacious and practical, very good bedding. Only small problem independent of the hotel, apparently a water cut on the morning of departure.
The only downside: the vehicle parking capacity is too low.
Some negative points, especially in the bathroom: redoing the bathtub seals, touching up the paint on the doors, points of impacts or chipped paint, holes in the wooden bathtub facade, needing to be refreshed. Cdt

Were a bit disappointed and 2 times. Breakfast offer was much more simple than all previous stays. You know, such things attract us while traveling!
Second time was at reception. We chose the rate "Bicycle weekend". I don't know why the lady started to ask us, and in very pressing manner, where are our bicycles and when did we used them? To my mind she exceeded her authority. Actually only for that we might score 1 star only, but we did not. Thank you for understanding.
Good hotel overall, fairly well located because of the view of the Lot, but the dining room was very, very noisy given the presence of groups during our visit (organized tours). We would have appreciated a separate room for dining acoustically, for people passing through "outside the group". However, the restaurant service was friendly and efficient.

Beautiful hotel, good welcome with competent staff. Old bathroom, shower access with the toilet in front and radiator obstructing the shower outlet. Smell of damp in the wardrobe. Everything is never perfect. But it will be a hotel of choice for a future stay. The balcony is welcome.
love to go to Cahors and hotel ideal for riverside walks, though sometimes it's very hot. The evening meal is always interesting but as we've got older it can feel heavy. The bedrooms have a "shower in the bath" which again as we have got older is more difficult that a walk in shower. We have been here several times and have always enjoyed our stay helped by the friendly helpful staff.
Reservation made for a room with 2 beds... room with only 1 bed on arrival with no possibility of changing! We were forced to leave and find other accommodation... I'm sorry as an apology! Not at all professional!

We only stayed the one night on our way to Spain, but as a stop off it was in a lovely location in Cahors, very near the old town and on the banjs of the river. The staff are cery welcoming and the food for our evening meal was exceptional. The quality and variety was excellent and beautifully cooked. The lamb was very tender and the variety of vegetables was a joy to behold and eat. Cahors and La Chartreuse have become a must stay for future trips.

Good hotel but a bit "big" for us who prefer a family atmosphere
We love to stay here on our way to the coast and have always enjoyed the interesting evening meal menu. There is good access to the town and riverside walks. The car park is fairly limited is not secure and is on a first come first served basis. Beware if you book through Booking.com you will not be granted ETIK points. There are good connections to the Autoroute system.
The restaurant is noisier than a train station concourse. It's beneath your brand.

We are regulars at this hotel and this year I was struck by the deterioration of the exterior facades and in our bathroom, a mirror with damaged edges and a rather dusty floor. Sewer smell in the bathroom.

We had a wonderful family stay at the Hotel La Chartreuse. The room was very nice with a magnificent view of the Lot. We dined both evenings in the hotel's restaurant, on the terrace overlooking the river. The dishes were generous and all excellent. Excellent value for money; we will definitely return.

The rooms are not well soundproofed, which is a shame because everything else was perfect. The food is very good, the comfort of the rooms is also good, as is the welcome.
Perfect and friendly welcome at the hotel reception. Welcome at the restaurant by the very unpleasant head waiter who did not even speak to us, but very rudely gestured to our table with a hand gesture. Regarding dishes: for my wife; Roasted hake dish swimming in mussel juice: the presence of these mussels was not specified in the menu despite our request to serve this dish without sauce vierge. Very decent and tender fillet of beef. Note a tall waitress who came to bring us the appetizers without a hello, attention or words, with a face of a very bad day! On the other hand, note; the young brown waiter who apologized profusely about the fish dish swimming in its mussel cooking water, offering to change it, but it was too late because my wife was disgusted by the sight of this mussel cooking water and did not want to take the risk of having another disappointment.

Not a bad place to stay. It's a pity the maintenance from the outside is neglected and the price is rather hi. But yeah, its high season. The terrace and the food is excellent and surely also the service.

I really like this hotel, it's the second time I've been here. It's very well located on the waterfront and the staff are incredibly kind. I always ask for a room with a view of the Lot, it's superb. Don't hesitate to have breakfast at the hotel, you'll understand why, it's a wonderful way to start the day.

The hotel welcome is perfect, the rooms are clean, and the restaurant lives up to the establishment's standards, with efficient, welcoming, and very pleasant staff. The variety, presentation, and quality of the food are excellent. We will happily return to this establishment and recommend it to our friends and family. The only downside is that the bathroom with shower is a bit cramped.
Beautiful place and rest at the same level
All facilities of the hotel were very good except the outdated & not well maintained room. The value for money is therefore rather low because of the disappointing room which didn't correspond with the pictures on booking.com.
Breakfast & dinner were of excellent quality. The swimming pool is big & well equiped, but can only be accessed via the street.

You promised me a quiet room and bath. I asked for this long time before. And you said you would do your best so I thought it was possible. But for this rate it was not possible the reception told me. So it was never possible. I asked for better room but the reception dlsaid it was not there but on Booking.com I could book this but the reception said this was impossible. So I tried the room but it was with so much noise from the road. I could not sleep so I left. What a great disappointment. So bad how you treated me. I think you should have returned my money..
Lovely hotel in Cahors by the river Lot. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We were allowed to park our motorbikes in their private garages. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, good choices for both.

Charming and very friendly receptionist. Hotel very well located with a very pleasant swimming pool. The hotel has a large terrace overlooking the Lot. You can dine there (the dinner was very good and very generous) and have breakfast there which is very varied, all served by friendly and friendly staff. If you are passing through Cahors, I recommend this hotel where I will return without any hesitation.

There is free parking, a swimming pool, and a restaurant, but I would like to emphasize the quality of the staff, especially Deborah, who helped me create a loyalty card (I am not very comfortable with new technologies). We feel that the room is no longer brand new but remains high-quality. We appreciated the silence overlooking the river as well as the quality of the breakfast. The nightlight at the head of the bed is an excellent idea, but the switch is too high to operate without getting out of bed.

The only downside regarding the restaurant: despite a very pleasant welcome and service from the maître d'hôtel, we were particularly surprised by the rest of the staff with the dishes practically thrown on the table; no doubt there had been an internal problem but it's really a shame!

Beautiful place, very well maintained, in the immediate vicinity of the historic center. Unmissable stopover.
The room we had was dilapidated, with a rooftop view and a cooking smell. The cleanliness could be better. The bathroom was dated. The shower head was limescale, the water jet was uneven. The tiles were broken and the room furniture was damaged. We didn't think the meal cost was worth any more. The breakfast was okay. The two receptionists were also professional. We paid 90 euros for the room and could compare it to the Mercure Hotel, except that it was in favor of Mercure. It was probably a bad room; we did see some nice amenities and a willingness to do good work.
I stay there regularly for work. Always a warm welcome, good service, and the best thing about the pool in summer.
Hotel chosen for a stopover and return to Paris. Following the praise in various emails, we did not hesitate to book a room "N 17." Unfortunately, upon arriving in this large, air-conditioned room, we were disappointed with the bathroom: rusty and dirty shower grid as well as the joints. Really unfortunate. On the day of departure, we pointed this out. The person at reception literally accused the cleaning lady. We think that this person at reception should be put back in line and work as a team. Better results would be noticed. On the other hand, nothing to say about the catering: Very professional evening meal and lunch: Bravo And very beautiful view on the terrace.

Fabulous location on the Lot. Can walk to the train station and close to main restaurant areas.
Well-located hotel close to the center with a beautiful view of the Lot. Parking a little limited in terms of number of spaces. Pleasant air-conditioned room. Very comfortable bedding. Quite varied breakfast. Beautiful swimming pool but we were not able to try it because of the gloomy weather. On the other hand, the bathroom needs to be renovated and the bathtub is not very practical for showering.
Overall we enjoyed our 2 night stay although our evening meal experience on our first night was rather disappointing - an extraordinarily long wait for service even tho’ the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, other customers around us appearing to get preferential attention from the waitress servicing our area - our order, when eventually taken, arrived incorrect - by this time we had had enough so chose to tolerate the mistakes and put it down to experience.
I should point out that our dining experience the following evening was the polar opposite and entirely pleasurable.

Don't be fooled by the establishment's facade. The modernized interior is welcoming and comfortable. The staff is very pleasant and professional. The restaurant offers excellent value for money, featuring fresh produce and homemade recipes in a spacious and bright dining room with a large terrace overlooking the Lot River. As for the rooms, ours was spacious and modern with a view of the Lot River. We highly recommend this establishment for a stay in Cahors.

For this price range, you would at least expect soundproofing in the walls and room doors. The staff is not at fault; they were very friendly and pleasant (both arrival and departure). As for the view of the bridge, with a huge tree in front of the balcony, we weren't likely to see much... So a little disappointed too.

Very good establishment, very well maintained, impeccable cleanliness, pleasant staff. We dined on the terrace overlooking the Lot, accompanied by birdsong. No noise pollution from the room, whose small balcony overlooked the Lot and its green and tree-lined banks.

Outside looks dated but inside it’s contemporary, with a riverside setting. Tables outside and in the restaurant overlook the river. The greatest suprise was the evening meal, we would normally look for a separate restaurant but the meal here turned out to be excellent well cooked and served with an excellent choice of wines.

Always so satisfied with our stay in this hotel. We have been coming regularly for several years now and we are always well received and satisfied. Attentive and very friendly reception staff, clean and comfortable room. Small tray with kettle for coffee, tea or infusion is very pleasant. Small fridge very practical especially in summer. Do not hesitate to take the view of the river it is magnificent with a small balcony to enjoy it. The generous and varied breakfast with quality products (12.50 €) there is something for everyone! The restaurant is just great with a top chef!!! Delicious dishes (regional and quality products) and beautifully presented. Thank you to all the staff for the special attention you reserve for me during each stay for my gluten intolerance (delicious seeded rolls await me). I am very grateful! Perfect breakfast, everything was there and it was cheap.
We only booked for one night because we were traveling. The room we booked with a river view was given to us. The bathroom was dirty, with the toilet full of dirty toilet paper, urine on the toilet lid, and the bathroom floor. We assumed it was an oversight, and the cleaner didn't go into that room. The bed was messy and dirty as well. We went down to tell the lady at the front desk, but she didn't come up to check on us. Instead, she moved us to a larger room, also with a river view, one floor up. The room smelled damp from not having been opened in at least a week. It was a room for disabled guests and people with reduced mobility. The bathroom smelled like sewage, and we had to open the windows and doors for about an hour to get rid of the damp smell a bit and be able to sleep because of the allergies we had. We sneezed nonstop, our eyes watered, and our throats itched. We left with the flu that still lingers. We finally managed to sleep and leave the next morning. We had no complaints about the breakfast or the guys who served us in the morning.

Very welcoming staff, being in a wheelchair, there are some difficulties for me, but the maximum is done to adapt and facilitate movement. Parking, large room, top bathroom, adapted toilet. Our last stay, we came one night with our 17-year-old grandson, he was as delighted as we were with his stay. And the restaurant is a moment of happiness for the taste buds. It is our stopover place when we go down to the south, we will return there very soon.

Overall pleasant stay, very professional and friendly staff. However the room overlooked the technical room, kitchen, road side, lots of noise (if the window is opened) No curtain in the room other than the blackout curtain so very dark not very pleasant.

Spent a night as a stopover. Very clean room, very functional. Everything is there. The only downside is that we had a room with a bathtub because I had forgotten to specify the choice of shower. There are no handles to safely access the bathtub, and no non-slip because the surface is very slippery.
We had a wonderful short stay at this charming hotel, while we were walking the ‚Camino’. Dinner and breakfast were excellent! The perfectly clean room was quite big, had two very comfortable single beds and even a small balcony. Everything was perfect!

Very good hotel for a stopover in Cahors or a tourist stay. Comfortable room, very good and quality breakfast with regional products, restaurant to recommend without moderation. Quality wines with a selection of the month. In summer the terrace the mong of the river Lot is a plus.
Disappointed with the layout of the bathroom, really small, and especially with the breakfast... However, I stayed in this hotel during a very quiet period, which perhaps explains the relative lack of pastries, bread, etc. The breakfast buffet room is not the same as the one where the tables are, so why install a television there?? Because of the weather, I did not take advantage of the outdoor areas, which look nice (swimming pool and large lawn). On the other hand, very close to the motorway exit, even if a little difficult to find at night...
