Family run, in nice part of Hendaye near the front. High quality 4 course dinner. No choice of food but that was not a problem at all. Excellent breakfast. The family take a great pride in their hotel and in providing quality service to their customers. Would highly recommend.

Initially there was confusion with regard to a message which should have been sent to my mobile regarding access to the property, the number was correct but the country code was wrong. I believe they thought UK was Ukraine.

If you are looking for luxury, do not go to the Bergeret Hotel. But friendliness, the family aspect, availability are much more important than luxury (and the rooms are quite comfortable) and the Bergeret family has no lessons to receive in this area. I recommend 200%. And in addition, breakfast with homemade products.

This is the only Logis we have ever stayed in that refused to allow us to eat a dinner. We had to wander the streets until we found somewhere as most places were fully booked. Ourselves and a french couple from Paris were refused because we had booked through the Logis site and not directly with her. I am 78 years old and have trouble walking and really expected to dine in the hotel restaurant.

it s a nice family hotel , to be safe and cool , to eat lovely traditional things and drink lovely cocktails , on the terasse , to be sure nobody can find you , and bother you , to hide your car safely , to have a Basquian breakfast , to start the day nicely ... and to be...happy ? of course Maria Carmen , is a part of it ...cyril , as well ...and the chef ...is a real old fashion chef ... the way we loved it when a child...and the way we do not want it to change ...the taste of the past and the comfort of nowadays .

Very friendly family. They were all willing to put themselves out for their guests. Excellent standard of accommodation and food. The FOOD was overwhelming! We ate far too much! But we enjoyed it all. Highly recommended!

The gourmet restaurant that we were hoping for was not open. It should be noted that it is only open for half board, which you cannot predict when you have not seen it. Some blunders in the reception and handing over of keys should be improved. The decoration is dated and not in good taste.
