A pleasant stay, the staff were excellent, I would definitely do it again if the opportunity arises

A very nice hotel! Superb view! Very clean

The only downside was the absence of a lift - we had to climb 2 flights of stairs with a heavy suitcase.

I often come to this hotel because of the high quality of the services and the welcome.

A lovely place to visit in summer with dinner on the terrace and sitting on the bedroom balcony looking over the river. Winter is not as appealing, although proximity to the N10, comfortable bedroom and excellent restaurant make up for it when one cant enjoy the exterior areas( the hotel can appear a bit stark on approach in winter) . The dinner was excellent and superior to most Logis we have visited. It was however not as good as it could have been due to the indifference of the waitress who seemed unconcerned that our starter had not arrived after waiting an hour. Her male colleague apologised profusely and ensured the rest of the service went like clockwork.

Stopping for one night but for a 3rd visit: excellent cuisine that showcases regional products, magnificent park on the banks of the Charente to relax after the kilometers traveled and large private parking! An ideal stopover!

Very professional hotel perfectly located in a superb setting. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and professional. Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to try the restaurant, but the breakfast, made with fresh, quality products, was excellent. The room was very comfortable and clean; there is nothing to complain about; I highly recommend this hotel.

WOW - location is simply sublime. Gardens and surrounds are so restful. Room nicely decorated and sufficent for us and our dog. Loved the views. Meals, - breakfast and dinner - were very good and we certainly ate to our hearts content. (We fell in love with the desserts!!) Staff hyper agreeable.

Well situated on the bank of the Charente river. Grounds are well worth a look round. Meals n the restaurant are good and tasty. Breakfast was adequate for our needs.

Behind a rather unappealing facade lies a very pleasant surprise: a warm welcome, a beautiful room and lovely decor, a very good restaurant, and a terrace overlooking beautiful gardens and the river. And what's more, there's a bike storage room!

For an evening stopover, the price is really worth it.

Well placed for the motorway. Picturesque on the river albeit the hotel exterior is not appealing. Don’t be put off as the accommodation and restaurant are great and the buffet and set menus are good value for money. Currently in the process of extensive renovation but the room we were given was certainly well finished. Comfortable bed and good linen. The towels were great for exfoliating! Would have appreciated a somewhere to get or make a cup of tea as the rooms lack these facilities.

An establishment with excellent services in its category, ideal location on the banks of the Charentes. Very warm welcome, room equal to our expectations, good bedding, cleanliness at the top. Very good experience in terms of catering and also an affordable wine list. Great location on the river and a warm welcome. We ate very well and the breakfast was exceptionally good. Lots of freshly prepared food and a wide selection.

I have known this hotel restaurant for many years. I wouldn't come back if I wasn't satisfied.

Friendly staff, excellent food and fantastic location

Good location in the centre of town, on the river. Peaceful setting. The room was small but adequate, wonderful view from the second floor.
Be warned that there are no lifts, and a winding staircase to the second floor with your cases is a challenge. The hotel restaurant was very pleasant, a lovely terrace overlooking the river when weather permits. Set menus good value for money, a reminder of old style French hotels.

Very nice hotel / pleasant setting. Perfect restaurant

I had booked a room online and rhe room allocated was on the second floor, but actually a large height difference from the first floor. This room had an excellent view over the river, but also contained 3 beds. Unfortunately the hotel has no lift which made that room impossible for me to reach with luggage. Consequently we had to be changed to a first floor significantly smaller anf inferior room.

The restaurant was excellent both for dinner and breakfast.

A warm, comfortablr hotel with a very nice room - spoiled only by the fact that we were on the second floor and there is no lift.
