My third visit to the establishment. Always quiet, calm, helpful staff, clean and well-kept.
Very comfortable hotel, very quiet, within the establishment there is an excellent restaurant. The staff is charming and very friendly. The room and bathrooms were spacious, extremely clean, well equipped. Very comfortable bedding. It was perfect

The hotel has an old-fashioned look, especially in the hallways and stairways with worn carpeting. The room and bathroom are very clean and quiet. The breakfast is well-stocked and varied. There is a restaurant on site.
I didn't stay in the standard garden view room (which was stated on my confirmation), but in the main building with a roof view, room number 7 on the second floor. The room was incredibly hot, with no air conditioning or fan. The bed was comfortable, with two armchairs, a desk with a chair, a wardrobe without a key and therefore difficult to open, a bath, sink, and toilet. The noisy air conditioning on the roof was also a problem on hot days. For two days, I was unbearably in the room in the afternoons, reading a book downstairs, but with annoying flies. The fact that every guest was allowed to go to the renovated rooms was also a real bummer. I stayed in rooms 6 through 9 in the main building, of which I had seven and was the only one staying for half a week. The food was better some days than others. I also didn't understand the various appetizers they offered. Food came too quickly for me, so I skipped an aperitif beforehand. Fine for business travelers, but not for leisurely vacationers. The manager and staff are friendly, but receptionist Abby is especially invaluable. Even during dinner, everything went smoothly when she was there. She works very hard, is incredibly friendly, and so cheerful, which helped me put things into perspective. Breakfast is very extensive, and the manager greets you or chats with you. She also apologized for the room and that they are busy renovating. I was actually misled by the positive reviews, which clearly all referred to the renovated rooms in the annex.

Hotel in need of a serious facelift (still "in its original state"); rooms to 80s standards. Our room, whose name "junior suite" seems a bit hackneyed to me, with linoleum in the bathroom and no towel dryer or drying rack. Little storage; just a hanging space in the wardrobe and no shelves to unpack the suitcase. In short, 4* rate for 2* quality; by the way, a curiosity (perhaps a software problem) with a half-board rate higher than the sum of the separate elements (breakfast + meals + room); correction made at check-out.
