The only downside is the parking lot 150m away
A very personal, hospitable stay. We were upgraded to a larger room than we reserved without even asking. The meal was home made and unpretentious, perfect for what we were looking for. Our hostess to pains to make sure we were comfortable and was available for any request. We will be happy to return for any future visits, and can recommend this inn for families and lone travelers alike.
Everything was perfect: a very warm welcome, the breakfast, the meal, and the hostess's kindness. I would gladly return on my next trip. Thank you!

A hotel where friendliness and helpfulness are embodied by the entire team! From the welcoming smile upon arrival to the assistance with luggage, everything was done to ensure guests were well looked after. This care was also fully reflected in the perfect meals. Breakfast began with a wide variety of homemade delicacies. Dinner was a feast every evening. The dishes are seasonal and feature fantastic local produce. In short, this was our first visit, but it's a fantastic place to return to! Our thanks to the fantastic team at this incredibly friendly hotel!
Old hotel. Quite quirky. But not good value.
Our room was number 1: spacious with its very large bed, its wardrobe and its shelves, like a small dressing room closed by a pretty white curtain, its pedestal table and its two comfortable armchairs, its electric kettle and coffee-making facilities, its decoration based on travel, the large trunk at the end of the bed and small chests as bedside tables. The bathroom is spacious, too: an enclosed shower, toilet and two basins placed on a large "work surface" which allows you to put all your toiletries and a towel dryer. As for the catering, everything was perfect: we will not forget the excellent breakfast prepared in the kitchen: the caramel egg custard, the homemade yogurt, the gingerbread made with honey from the nearby beehives, the apple cake, the roasted peaches topped with cocoa marzipan, the pastries of course, the cheese and the excellent country ham, the homemade jams, ... and these are just a few examples! The evening meal also delighted us: we will remember the homemade terrine, we are still talking about the cod back in shrimp nage served with squid ink pasta, the lemon cheesecake and the cherry clafoutis. In addition, the location is ideal because it allows for beautiful discoveries like the nearby town of Foix but it is also the starting point of a circuit which passes through the Pérègue and Portel passes, through Tarascon-sur-Ariège before returning to Foix. And above all the welcome is warm and you can feel everyone's desire to make your stay perfect! We had an excellent weekend there made of simple little pleasures which leave us with beautiful and sweet memories! Quite simply, thank you!

Sehr freundliches und gemütliches Hotel. Nichts für Luxus-Verwöhnte, aber es fehlt an nichts. Die Eigentümerin ist extrem zuvorkommend und spricht sehr gut Englisch. Zudem kocht sie wirklich gut! Jedes Zimmer ist individuell eingerichtet und zusammen mit dem kleinen Restaurant und dem fantasievoll eingerichteten Aufenthaltsraum und aller Nebenräume verleiht dies dem Hotel eine außergewöhnliche und charmante Atmosphäre. Unbedingt empfehlenswert!

Charming hotel where you feel very, very good. Beautiful little garden, beautiful decoration of the rooms on the theme of travel, very friendly welcome, delicious breakfast and evening meal!
High humidity in the room and really uncomfortable bedding.
The hotel's decor is very diverse and cozy, making you feel calm and the garden is very pleasant. The bedding, the cleanliness, the generous breakfast, the welcome from the owner and the staff, and this human interaction make this stay very pleasant.
This was a lovely stay. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed, and the staff was very friendly. We ate in the restaurant and had a very good experience.
