The charm of these old houses, full of character. A very warm welcome and great helpfulness from everyone. Excellent dinner.
very good stay
In terms of value for money, the prices charged are very high, both in terms of accommodation and catering. €100 for a so-called "charming" room located above the kitchens with real noise pollution day and night, the room is not soundproofed while the description states "soundproof". As a result, we were able to enjoy our neighbors' repeated toilet flushing and washing with plenty of water. The room is cramped, with basic decoration, a more than spartan bathroom, the bedding is of poor quality (springs that sink into the back). As a reminder, we are in the provinces. Rooms are available in urban areas for the same price with much better comfort. For the catering including a dinner at €30 for one person including starter and main course, only 2 choices, the starter based on scallops is rather successful, the main course that I chose "the duckling" tender and well cooked, accompanied by an extremely salty sauce, out of place in a Logis de France. The breakfast at €13.50 is based mainly on sweet, with the rare presence of charcuterie, i.e. slices of Lidl quality cooked ham and a little Touraine goat cheese. The coffee is only named after the name. The homemade cakes are decent. So overall very disappointed by the level of services compared to the prices charged for an establishment stamped with the Logis de France label. Conclusion: to be avoided.

I was woken up at 7am by the departure of the neighboring room but more importantly, after falling back asleep by the cleaning ladies at 8am who were laughing, shouting, talking loudly etc... No respect for guests sleeping on a Sunday morning. The room is otherwise pleasant but the bathroom is old. No toiletries are available.
Excellent stay, all the staff very pleasant and professional, we slept well and had a very good dinner and breakfast. The only small downside was the position of our room above the kitchens, a fairly persistent dull noise from the ventilation/refrigeration unit. Nothing too serious, we are delighted and will certainly return on our next visit to the region.

Room No. 5 too small, access to the shower too difficult, cramped, no VMC in the toilets and in the bathroom, sink tap not practical to use and leaking (repair made during the day)
Welcoming and friendly establishment. Very good restaurant: refined cuisine, balanced menu, selection of regional wines in half-bottles. Excellent service. Suggestions: • prune and refresh the plants 🪴 in front of the entrance.
It's a shame that the rooms and bathrooms are "outdated", especially the tiny shower cubicle, even though the bathroom is large. The food is of good quality.
Stayed one night with my son between 2 days spent at Beauval Zoo, the hotel is 30 minutes from the zoo and therefore well located. Very quiet, excellent welcome. Very good room, only downside is the really microscopic shower-toilet area. Breakfast served from 8:00 a.m., quality and homemade products, the ideal would be for it to start at 7:30 a.m. to enjoy it a little more for those who then go to Beauval, because the park opens earlier on weekends during high season. We recommend this establishment!

The whole experience, from the evening meal and the night to breakfast, was very pleasant: high quality, attentive welcome, remarkable setting of the outdoor terrace...
A generous and quality breakfast with products and great vigilance so that nothing is missing. Quiet and cozy hotel. Attentive and generous staff with advice. The only downside is that the shower and toilet are separated only by a curtain and sink in the room: the lack of privacy is a bit annoying when you are not a couple.
Overnight stay on way back home in comfortable room. Ate at the hotel which was very good and value for money so eat here if you are staying. Staff were very friendly and tolerated my very average french speaking skills with patience !

Charming inn with a perfect welcome

Despite a very clean room and a charming hotel, too many points are stains, unacceptable and absurd. For example, there is a toilet in the room but in open mode. I let you imagine the noises and smells in the privacy of your room with your partner... The bed is very short and measuring 1m85, I had to sleep diagonally so that my feet would not stick out. The bedside lamp had a bad contact and we had to wedge its power cable so that it would not flicker. The TV is 19 inches. I do not watch TV in hotels because I never have time, but it is indeed the smallest TV I have seen in a hotel. The staff is charming and pleasant but that is not all. We had a long coffee and for which we asked to be added to our bill for the stay. What a surprise when we received the bill of 4.5€ for a simple coffee. This is the most expensive coffee I have ever bought in my life. The WiFi connection is unstable and has no flow. The evening waitress is lovely and very professional. The food was good, very good but a bit expensive considering the quantities.

Very good little hotel close to Chenonceaux, quite discreet and authentic. Spending a late afternoon and having dinner in the garden behind in the summer is truly a highlight. The menu is very good, the staff is friendly, the rooms are comfortable and provide the basic comfort you need, and you will be rewarded by a delicious breakfast in the morning. Overall an address I recommend.
