Excellent welcome despite a lack of staff on the day of our arrival. Friendly host and very good food.

A small, simple hotel, but everything is impeccably clean and tidy, and the welcome is full of kindness and thoughtfulness. A very relaxing stopover for us.

It was a shame to learn upon our arrival that the catering service was not provided that day! A minimum of thoughtfulness would have been appreciated, not even an email or a message. There was a lack of consideration there, incompatible with the values of the Logis! In addition, all the restaurants in the area were full. Whatever the reasons (no staff), the manager could have sought options with colleagues in the city!

Die Küche ist einfach, aber gut. Allerdings wäre ein wenig Gemüse oder Früchte noch angenehm.

The room was nice and clean with a very nice view. Good bed with clean crisp sheets. A box of tissues would have been nice though.

The restaurant was a little disappointing. There was only the menu du jour, no menu’s to choose from. The entré was good, but the main course was a white. Cod filet with a white sauce and a pile of rice. The cod was good, the rice was soggy. But no vegetables at all which I found disappointing. Just adding some carrots or green beans would make a world of difference. The crème brulee was good.

Big disappointment: when we arrived, the hotel was closed... There was a code at the entrance. I called the owner who gave me this code, my room number and told me that there had to be 2 people to open the door just after entering the code. The door could only open 2 seconds after entering this code....!! No staff inside, you had to get the room key from a board at reception!! We discovered in the evening that the restaurant was closed on Saturdays. I called the owner back who told me that he had other things to do than stay at the hotel waiting for customers and that this closure was listed on his website. However, I booked on the Logis Hôtels website which did not mention this closure, nor did it mention it in the email I received the day before my arrival. Overall, a big disappointment accompanied by another concerning the price: 94 euros for this lack of welcome, Formula One style. It's armed robbery.!!! And a blatant disrespect for the customers that we are... Given the way the owner behaved with us, bravado, bordering on vulgarity, constantly justifying himself? I can guarantee you that I will not return to one of your establishments. And I will let those around me (family, friends, others) know. Last comment: UNACCEPTABLE and unworthy of the advertising that you present on your site....!!!

Ideally located in the heart of the Forez mountains, the hotel is very pleasant and comfortable. Impeccable welcome. We will return with pleasure.

I arrived at the hotel on 02-04-2025 at 8 pm, at the Logis Au Rendez-vous des Chasseurs hotel, there was a sign telling me to ring and wait, I did that, 10 minutes passed and no one appeared, I rang again, another 10 minutes passed and nothing, I rang again and after another 10 minutes a gentleman appeared, that is 30 minutes of waiting, he arrived shouting saying that it made him nervous, and he said that there were no more rooms available, because the hotel was full, I said that I had already made the reservation and I showed him the email, he told me no, that he had not received a notification. who didn't have internet, who wasn't using the computer that day, I asked what I was going to do, as it was already very late and there was no other hotel nearby, he told me he didn't know and left me alone at the reception. In short, it was a bad experience.

A good address, a pleasant welcome, bedding for a good night's sleep, a quality dinner and service worthy of a good Logis, so I recommend it and now add it to my list of favorites ;)

Too bad the very nice boss can't find staff to open the restaurant every day. We need a Trump in France and stop feeding all these good-for-nothings who don't want to work and prefer benefits from our taxes and our charges...

We were not able to stay there. It seems that the hotel was full, but the reservation was open.

A welcoming, simple but clean hotel with well-restored rooms

Very friendly owner, the rooms have been completely redone and the bedding and pillows are top notch ❤️ I highly recommend this establishment who are looking for employees who would simply want to work!

Hotel well located in a very beautiful region. Friendly welcome, comfortable and well-equipped room, magnificent bathroom and comfortable bedding. Hearty breakfast served with a smile. An address to remember. PS: Arriving on Sunday evening I was not able to dine at the restaurant (closed on Sunday), but there are several addresses nearby. I recommend "La Guingette" where I spent a very good evening.
