Third time that we have stayed in six months. Super accommodation, bar and restaurant.

Excellent stopover in Champagne, with large quiet rooms despite the proximity of the RN19 with its heavy heavy truck traffic day and night. Excellent quality of accommodation and catering.

Booking in was speedy. Room and bed were a good size. Waitress in the restaurant was extremely efficient friendly and professional. The food delicious. Great that’s the restaurant was open on a Sunday evening. We found the whole experience very calm and I restful. Will stay again.
Nice stay but the Susan's Hotel part is much more attractive than the hotel part of the Hostellerie de la Chaumière. Too bad it's not possible to stay in the room until 12 p.m. and not 11 a.m. when you have a reservation for the restaurant at 12 p.m....
Sanitary to be reviewed. Noisy room, minimum service.
It is well above a three star at any level and the restaurant is an excellent table. All for excellent value for money.

Conveniently located as a stopover hotel between the UK and the south of France. Charming, comfortable hotel with excellent restaurant. Half-board deal excellent value. We'll use it again.
The Hostellerie was a welcome break after five hours of traveling from the Alps. The rooms in Susan's annex had recently been refurbished to a high standard; the shower area was capacious with powerful jets. The English owner has lived in France for forty years with her french husband and provided a most attentive reception. The breakfast was a good standard buffet.
Pleasant quiet night small downside the socket in the bathroom does not work
A lovely hotel and restaurant. We stayed in the annexe which was spotlessly clean and quiet. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere and the food was excellent. A great overnight stop but could have happily stayed longer.

Wonderful meal
Reception, service and farewell were quite distant and sober. Here the hotel could stand out better from large hotel chains by the fact that the staff communicates a little more personally and cordially and responds more to the guest. English language skills are unfortunately only rudimentary with 1-2 employees.

Floors creaking with every step. It feels like waking up the whole hotel with every step. At breakfast, top for jam without packaging. Why not continue with butter and Nutella?
A neat establishment in a lush green setting. A pretty park, color with a multitude of flowers. The staff is attentive, very welcoming, very smiling. An atmosphere of well-being emerges from this hotel. The owner is charming and takes great care of her customers. If you pass in the area stop.

A very pleasant stay on the banks of the Aube in a very pleasant setting! The hotel is close to the road which is quite busy but the rooms are on the opposite side and very well insulated so you are not at all bothered by noise; we would have just liked a slightly larger room. Nothing to say about the cleanliness, the bathroom is very correct. We only had one meal in the hotel restaurant which was very correct but the variety of dishes seemed limited to us; classic breakfasts but also correct.

Decent stay overall. Small flat on the quality of service: it varied according to the people who served us. The children (adolescent girls) felt it too. Decoration a little cold in the rooms.
Spotless place. We had a great time. Easy parking within the property, natural environment, cleanliness, concern for the well-being of customers. And a welcome from the owners and employees at the top. Also during meals, always with a smile, a pleasant word… One thing is certain, we will return.

Très bonne expérience : un bon accueil, une chambre bien équipée et faite avec goût, un repas de qualité, petit déjeuner complet... tout était très bien et je reviendrai quand cela sera possible.

De kamer in het tuingedeelte Susan's- hotel was ruim en proper, maar toch nog koffievlekken op het bureau en nog restwater in de waterkoker. De informatie op de website is misleidend, want geen airco zoals aangegeven en dat was tijdens een warme nacht wel een minpunt. De aanwezige ventilator kon dit niet goedmaken. Als hotel voor onderweg is dit alles niet onoverkomelijk, zeker omdat het restaurant van goede kwaliteit is.

Nous avions réservé 4 chambres qui étaient toutes aussi belles les unes que les autres! Nous avons été très bien accueilli et notre repas au restaurant comme pour le petit déjeuner étaient délicieux. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.
