A very pleasant hotel with a garden. Spacious room. We were given the only room with a bathtub, even though we had booked a room with a walk-in shower due to our age! We mentioned this, and it was a lovely surprise when we paid our bill: wine was offered to us on the house, which we appreciated. The meal was also very good.
A warm welcome and outstanding cuisine
A lovely, peaceful interlude 🌿 A stop at L'Aubellerie de la Chaumière in Arsonval turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. The setting is truly delightful, with a bucolic and peaceful feel that's so welcome after a long day on the road. It's quiet, surrounded by greenery, in a place that has charm without being over the top. As for the room and the establishment itself: it's clean, quiet, and comfortable, exactly what you want for a good night's sleep. The welcome was also very friendly, simple, and efficient. Just one small drawback during this period of intense heat: the temperature in the room. We appreciated that the establishment had thought to provide a fan—thank you for this thoughtful touch!—but we turned it off to sleep. Being on the ground floor, we obviously didn't want to spend the night with the windows wide open, and once the shutters and windows were closed, it got really very hot. Air conditioning, or simply the option of safe ventilation with a tilt-and-turn window, for example, would be a real plus. But this remains the only minor drawback to an otherwise very pleasant stay. A lovely setting, peace and quiet, cleanliness, and a welcome just the way we like it: a place we're happy to have discovered. 😊
The hotel is very good, with excellent bedding, a beautiful setting, and very welcoming staff. Breakfast is provided and of good quality. The only slight drawback is that the restaurant prices are a bit high.
We had an enjoyable stay. The welcome and service were warm and helpful. It was odd to be given a room for 2 on arrival when we were travelling with and had booked a room for 3 to include our handicapped daughter. We were then given a room for 3 in the original building . It was fine but the floor squeaked whenever one of us went to the bathroom and it looked out over the terrace where the evening meal service took place
All that said, we enjoyed our stay and will return as we have before.

Un endroit vraiment charmant ! Nous avons fait un détour pour visiter l'hôtel Hostellerie de la Chaumière et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Tout était parfait. Le dîner était excellent.
Very pleasant staff, spacious and very clean room, excellent restaurant
A wonderful summer experience in Champagne. The room was quiet and very well appointed with modern bathroom facilities. The superb terrace was perfect for enjoying local specialties. We'll definitely be back!

It was a very pleasant stay at Hostellerie de la Chaumière. Our motorcycles were also parked safely (outside). Online it stated that air conditioning was available, but in the annex rooms, there were fans. A very well-prepared breakfast, and we also had a delicious meal in the restaurant.

We have cancellen the reservaties, bevaise there was no airco in our room. Outside It was 41 degrees. Inacceptable that a modern hotel had no airco in this Period of climax change
