After encouraging us to park without mentioning that it was a paid parking lot, we only found out the next morning on the hotel bill. Similarly, the presentation of breakfast was ambiguous, suggesting it was included in the room price. Scammers, avoid at all costs!
There was a strong smell of bleach in the room when I arrived. I tried to book again, but that will be a deal-breaker!

Lovely hotel, well located. The staff are very welcoming, the bedding comfortable, the breakfasts are generous, and there's private parking, gated at night. A great stopover in wine country with excellent value for money.

Hostellerie du Bretonniere is a perfect location for a stay in Beaune. The room was spacous enough, as the bathroom. However, we mussed good ventilation and it was all pretty basic in relation to the cost. The breakfast was very good and delucious, the staff helpful and friendly.

To bad the previous guest seemed to have been smoking in the room, but staff was helpful to resolve some of the smell.
Loved the hard mattress but it had a had a bit of a dip in the middle. Clean bathroom with specious shower. Great value for money.

This accommodation is simply perfect. You'll feel very comfortable in the charming walls of a former coaching inn. The reception is very friendly and welcoming. The rooms and shower are newly renovated and feature a very appealing and well-thought-out design. The highlight: there are enough outlets for charging various devices. Early morning breakfast on the terrace makes it hard to say goodbye.
The room was very small. We stayed at the hotel's driveway. The hotel window and entrance door were located at the driveway, so we had to cover the window and door with blinds to prevent anyone from looking into the hotel room.
For us, a shower over the bath was rather difficult.

The hotel was very welcoming. The room by the garden was good with space. It was clean and airy. It was disappointing not to have coffee / tea making facilites and the hairdryer was very poor. The position of the hotel was very good for visiting Beaune and the on-site parking was useful.

Nice quiet hotel close to the city center. Good welcome, good room. Unfortunately the bed mattress is of poor quality, too hard or at the end of its life and needs to be changed.
A very warm welcome and excellent service. An ideal hotel for a stopover on the way south. Parking is included! You can also visit the exceptionally authentic and beautiful town of Beaune (Hospices de Beaune!) and enjoy a delicious wine tasting. The old town center is nearby.

Excellent reception from management who allowed us into our rooms 2 hours ahead of check in time. Superior room was comfortable with large bathroom and good air conditioning. Hotel is very close to the centre of Beaune, no more than a 7 minute walk. Breakfast was adequate, maybe not as much choice as other hotels.
Disappointed I was charged for car parking, I had 3 rooms booked and our hire car was parked for four or five hours maximum .

The hotel came up years ago when Beaune may have been a stop, so happy to see that it is still there. We really enjoyed our short visit to Beaune -- city, countryside, cuisine, wine, people and the hotel and staff were definitely a plus.
The breakfast area was nice and appealing, but we had some *restaurants in view, and so, avoided breakfast. Thank you!

The hotel is very well located and has free, secure private parking. The room has good bedding. Two drawbacks: a shower without a showerhead (just a shower above the head) and very thin walls that let in neighbors' conversations. Otherwise, everything is quiet. The breakfast is good, but not exceptional. The owners and staff are very welcoming. The hotel is perfect for a one- or two-day stopover.
Well located. Friendly welcome. Clean, spacious duplex with a small outdoor area. Private parking. Quiet, tree-lined garden. One small drawback: the bread at breakfast is limited, just two small pieces of baguette and one croissant per person… when there are enough croissants at all.
