The room was okay, the bathroom very average!
Nothing to say about the welcome, it was perfect, very professional, very good bedding and the room is decorated with great taste. The room could be a little refreshed starting with the bathroom. The cleaning was not perfect (hairs in the bathroom drawers and the balcony was full of cobwebs). It is unfortunate that the hotel did not take into account the previous reviews which stated that there were no racks to hang towels (there is only one) but we had a pleasant stay. And the hotel is very very well located.
We have stayed in this Hotel as a first night stop when visining France. Reception upon arrival is always friendly, room very comfortable and lovely food in the restaurant.

It's just a shame there's no toaster at breakfast. I was told it was blowing fuses!! sic 😅. I concluded that the electrical installation needed to be reviewed...so as not to consider that the employee made fun of me!
We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years.The menu in the restaurant is very good and reasonably priced.

Perfect position
A very disappointing so-called gourmet stopover. The food served was very ordinary. The dishes and desserts were average. We had chosen this hotel based on the reputation of the Logis de France for the quality of their food. One of the waiters was not motivated. The room at the back was spacious but the whole place needed serious updating. The view of the dilapidated buildings and courtyard with the restaurant's fireplaces. The bed was comfortable. Room 32

Top staff, however, the room is not worth the 2 stars: no air conditioning even though it was too hot, we didn't sleep for 2 nights because the heat was unbearable, noisy street in the evening and early in the morning (works). We cut our stay short by the 1st night 😕 we do not recommend this hotel.
Good location in the center of Saumur with a view of the Loire but dated rooms, minimal equipment. Helpful staff. Room overlooking the Loire with the noise of people laughing and talking under our windows until 1 a.m.
Rather disappointing hotel, 4th floor without elevator, very small roof window accessible with a chair. If the roof window is open, there is street and party noise until 3 a.m. and noise from the washing machines from 5 a.m. to clean the place and if you close it, it is stifling heat because there is no other ventilation, the price paid is too high even for an economy room because we were not able to rest (supposed to be the purpose of the hotel). Clean room, downside on the bedding but clean, bathroom less clean (report during the meal, the manager offered to redo the cleaning if necessary). Friendly staff and ready to help. Excellent restaurant, young, helpful and friendly staff.
Breakfast: limited in choice but quality was good
A room with a small balcony overlooking the banks of the Loire, unfortunately very noisy (music from the bar next door blasting until 1 a.m., urban rodeos in the parking lot) balcony covered in moss, filthy bathtub (green deposits that can be removed with your fingers, numerous cobwebs on the ceiling, chandelier, etc.) always satisfied with Logis de France but this, what a disappointment!

Perfect, great parking in front
We arrived pre 3pm so couldn’t check in but had a lovely welcome & some lunch at the restaurant, beautiful food with wonderful atmosphere, it was lovely to see many locals there amongst tourists. We chose the premium room for the balcony, the room was ok but a little tired looking & not as clean as I’d hoped. The stairwell had a smell of dogs but was clean. All the staff were friendly & welcoming. I would suggest more information on the car parking would be useful, especially for foreign guests as the ‘2 hours free time’ was very confusing. If we knew the details prior to arrival with a link to the app, it would have been very helpful. 20 walk to the caves wine & tasting tour.

This hotel is in a great location but parking can be difficult. Our room was on the 3rd floor which was quite a climb. The wardrobe was a joke nowhere to hang clothes. Breakfast was good and we enjoyed our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful
You couldn't open the windows of the room because of the birds and the birdshit in the backyard. Disgusting dirty. The bathroom shower did not run off properly, so you had to interrupt or the water would flow out of the room. The stairway to second floor was very steep and narrow! Never again.

A few small renovations would be nice in the rooms. Broken lampshade of the desk lamp, unstable shower screen, around the inside of the shower tray with brown plates, worn and openwork pillowcase. Otherwise nice decoration and thank you for the little sweets with the bathroom linen.

Everything was good and practical; welcome and pleasant service. Only the shower cubicle was a little narrow and the fan a little noisy.

Clean room, separate toilets No elevator so not recommended for elderly people. Room without real window, just an opening 3 m from the ground. Not recommended for claustrophobic people. If I had known, I would have asked for a room with a real window and on a lower floor.

I found it quite petty to charge €3 per battery for recharging electric bikes. My battery is a maximum of 700W so it's expensive per kW... Moderately pleasant room which faces the forbidden side so no street noise but ventilation noise. Original WC: in a sort of cupboard in the bedroom opposite the single bed.

Great location and a very good restaurant. We were anxious prior to arrival about car parking andere amazed that the staff could not advise.
Great location, hotel reception and restaurant is very modern and breakfast is great value for money at 11€. Room dated but bed is large and very comfortable. Staff very helpful and did their best to speak English. No lift and narrow staircase, which made carrying suitcases up to the 4th floor a challenge. Perfect for a 1 stay passing through Saumur.

I found the price of the night excessive compared to the quality of the room which needs to be renovated and brought up to date!!!!! It's not at all worth the price of the night personally at over 110€ with lunch! We slept elsewhere the next night, in the same street, at the same price and it was truly magnificent! So see you again 😬........ I liked the location, the restaurant, and the complete and varied breakfast! The welcome was super friendly and pleasant. It's a shame !

Friendliness and availability are present at all times. The (public) car park is at the foot of the rooms. The only less "positive" point is having to manage the (paid) timetables and the parking bans on market day. That said, the free places are very close by and when the weather is nice, a little walk along the banks of the Loire is not without pleasure. Thank you to the whole team for their welcome.

Sadly breakfast was poor, only 1 croissant and one Pain au chocolate left and small amount of bread. No more available for us! Paid extra for breakfast too! The shower was only running VERY hot water and the room could do with a good cobweb clean, chandelier covered in them. Shame
