Thanks to Chef Germain and his team for another excellent dinner, with a homemade bouillabaisse with the freshest rock fish direct from the fisherman of Port la Nouvelle and of course with the homemade fish soup, with the homemade rouille of course, and to finish an excellent chocolate cake, homemade pastry of course, how lucky to have a real team of cooks who cook fresh products, a real restaurant of course, and finally thank you to Agathe and her team in the dining room for top-notch service of course, I recommend this hotel restaurant of course
Even though the hotel needs renovation, the rooms are well equipped and very clean. Perfect breakfast. Attentive staff.
The hotel needs some renovations; generally a bit run-down
We had booked a family room for 4 people but upon arrival we were told there had been a problem with our booking. We ended up having 2 rooms separated by a long corridor with the TV not working in the small room. We asked the staff 3 times to see why but no one came. Overall the hotel is aging, the bathroom poorly appointed. This is the first time we have been disappointed by a Logis de France
Very good hotel, well located. Room a bit small for 4, even though we were with 2 very young children. And bathroom really cramped. On the other hand, the restaurant is excellent, I particularly recommend the fish grill 👌
The hotel is very run down, the rooms are inadequate for the price, and the view alone is not worth it.
I will definitely return.
Excellent in every way
The establishment is ideally located for a short family vacation in Port-la-nouvelle, and has rooms with a magnificent view - facing the sea ... The children were particularly satisfied since they only had to cross the road to access the beach and the attractions ... The buffet breakfast is of very good quality, with a variety of products (savory, sweet, drinks ...) very appreciable. The staff is very welcoming and particularly attentive. Thank you 🙂
We spent one night in a sea view room. The view is very nice, the hotel is really well located opposite the sea and the shops. It's easy to park. The room could do with a facelift, for a 3 star hotel and for the price, some work would be appreciated. Regarding the hotel restaurant, it was very good! You can go there without hesitation! Breakfast on the other hand... 12e for frozen pastries, yogurts and some savory snacks... not great. It's also a shame that at 1 a.m. the staff shouts in the corridors... knowing that there is a sign that says "from 10 p.m. please respect the silence..." Good stay overall; but for the price of the rooms and the quality of the service, a bit mixed.
New owners Germain and Agathe are bringing the old Méditerranée Hotel back from the ashes. The hotel is remarkably clean, so we can't wait for the future renovation of the rooms. Agathe and the cleaning staff work miracles every morning, so some former guests believe that the rooms have already been renovated. Germain, the chef, is a talented cook trained by the greatest. He will be happy to prepare dishes to order with fresh produce from fisherman Frédérique de Port la Nouvelle. If you take the time to chat with him about cooking, his passion, the new elevated terrace with sea view on the beach is magnificent for eating delicious dishes, from the simplest to the most elaborate. I rediscovered this new Méditerranée hotel thanks to Germain and Agathe and the whole new team. It's an address to discover and rediscover ❤️
Very old hotel I took a room for 4 with two large beds on purpose, there were only two of us. On booking marked with terrace, we did not have a terrace. Room and bathroom are not worth 3 stars. To be able to get into the toilet, we had to climb next to the toilet to be able to close the door because between the door and the toilet there is 3/4 cl of space.
We only spent one night at this very well-located hotel facing the sea. We had a two-bedroom family suite. Unfortunately, there was only one air conditioning unit for both bedrooms. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
10 out of 10 for cleanliness, this year the new owners while waiting for the renovation of the rooms, they put the emphasis on cleanliness, and it is so well done that we have the illusion that the rooms are already renovated, it changes from the previous era where the lack of cleanliness accentuated the impression of old-fashioned rooms, like what with a good cleaning we can make something new with something old, CONGRATULATIONS to the cleaning teams, keep it up for the great satisfaction of the customers 👍
Fresh fish of the moment: a whole sea bass per person, perfectly cooked, not too much to remain tender and soft with a perfect fish roe sauce, cooked by Chef Germain, it's the assurance of a perfect dinner, and the cherry on the cake for dessert is a homemade black forest gateau with cherry of course, with homemade cherry liqueur, a perfect end to the dinner, get to know Chef Germain, you won't be disappointed ❤️
Room 111 offers a pleasant beach view, but no balcony. The bedding is adequate. The welcome is friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a pleasant terrace. The fish dishes are good.
I think it's unbelievable that you can not take the bikes up to your room or the hotel needs to have a locked room for them. This Hotel is located at the end of Canal du Midi so I'm sure we are not the firsts with this problem. Plus we are age group 40-59 so we are not going to litter anything, plus we saw a family with 2 dogs: a lot worse than the bicycles. Well it's my opinion.

Excellent location with superb sea view! We had already been there a year ago and the whole thing has even improved 👏👏 to ideal and to further improve customer satisfaction, perhaps we should think about a slightly more sophisticated breakfast.
For a business stopover, everything was perfect. The breakfast was very generous and varied. I recommend it.
It is a hotel being renovated, new owners and new team, in the meantime we see that a big effort is being made for the ownership of the rooms and bathrooms, it deserves a 5 out of 5 of encouragement, for the restaurant it is a real chef who makes real cuisine with fresh products, in particular with local fishermen, there it is already a 5 out of 5, icing on the cake the new panoramic terrace of the restaurant, view of the beach, it is great, the hotel restaurant Le Méditerranée is reborn from its ashes, I go back there and I recommend

All very good: 5 out of 5 Room there is really everything you need, yes it is old but the new owners in 2025 started to renovate everything, patience ... Restaurant: this is the best, the chef Germain arrived in 2024, now owner in 2025, he is a real cook, passionate about cooking, talented, he cooks fresh products, fish of the day from local fishing, ask him and let yourself be guided, Finally Germain and Agathe with the new 2025 team will quickly make you forget the old Logis Le Méditerranée, and I recommend you go now to the new Logis "chez Germain et Agathe", how lucky for Port la Nouvelle to have this jewel on the beach 👍 If we take into account that the hotel is old and if we take into account that the renovation is in progress, then the notes are honestly justified at 5 out of 5 for the rooms and at 5 out of 5 for the restaurant already at the TOP with chef Germain with this little extra with the new terrace of the restaurant on high ground with a magical view of the beach, the palm trees and the sea 🏖️🏝️

Maybe we were just unlucky, there was music outside until 4 am plus a fight at 3 am. Basically, we only slept 2 hours.

I had a sea view room, a joy, everything was done to see the sea from your bed, the staff were very welcoming and the best part was very good cuisine.
Excellent service throughout my stay. Hotel staff very friendly and fortunately all speak english. My french is basic at best. Room was deep cleaned every day. Restaurant food was excellent too.
Everything was good and food excellent. The location on seafront was perfect.. A lot of noise outside through the night but think it is not normal to be that noisy. Free parking outside was a nice bonus.
Beautiful location, the only downside is the aging hotel; the carpet in the room is a bit worn and the ceiling is falling apart, among other things. However, the location is excellent, the staff are friendly, and the view is breathtaking.

Hotel ideally located facing the sea. Parking in front of the hotel is easily available in April, but parking must be much less easy in July and August. Our room was spacious, with a lounge and a beautiful view of the sea.
Excellent stay at the Mediterranean Hotel: exceptional location on the seafront and delicious breakfast. The room was very quiet, clean and functional, with a small downside for the very small bed (140x190) and slightly dated decor. Easy parking in front of the hotel (in April). We will be back!
