Hello, We are very disappointed with our stay at the Manoir de Kerhuel. Apart from the pleasant setting, everything else was very disappointing. The "superior" room was clean but very basic for a 4-star hotel. The reception staff were friendly, but the restaurant service was far below what one would expect from a gourmet restaurant. Furthermore, the menu offered no choice whatsoever, showing no consideration for the customer's taste. This is frankly disappointing, especially since we are used to booking stays through Smartbox vouchers, and this is the first time we haven't been able to choose between several courses. In addition, the dining room is particularly cramped; it feels more like dining in a corridor than in a manor house. For an establishment of this standing, this is truly regrettable. We had a great stay, the place is beautiful.
In terms of catering, only one starter was offered, for 3 days we had the same thing. Obligation to take the same menu per table. (unheard of). We have been coming every year for 11 years, this year for the first time I note an overall decline in the quality of services. When we ask for a change of sheets, we also have to do the pillowcases. However, as a general rule we are satisfied. Air conditioning would be welcome.

Very beautiful site, undeniably. But we had the unpleasant feeling of being a little "embarrassing", in view of the preparations for a wedding the day after our stay... Seeing the bride and groom busy themselves with us had a grotesque side... Tables of "wild" children (and we have children ourselves) at the table in the gourmet restaurant... You are not responsible this time, but the nouveau riche, bling bling side, I go to the gourmet restaurant in flip-flops/caps/t-shirt, it's not great.
Very pleasant accommodation in an idyllic setting. Very warm welcome. The only negative point to our excellent stay was the wait for dinner, which was served outside, in very cool temperatures, which hampered our desire to enjoy the delicious dishes served to us. Furthermore, the signs for the Kéruel manor on the road are too close to its entrance, which could lead to a sudden stop of the vehicle and, at worst, an accident.
Our room was canceled during the day due to water damage. We were not offered alternative accommodation, contrary to the establishment's terms and conditions. The receptionist offered us an initial accommodation that was far from the standards of the manor. However, the terms of sale stipulate rehousing in similar accommodation conditions. After initially refusing the proposed accommodation, we were not contacted again to offer us alternative accommodation. We are very disappointed with the experience. We would like to be contacted as soon as possible.
I arrived at the Manor for a wedding. The welcome was perfect, and my stay was relaxing and peaceful. The staff is welcoming, helpful, and discreet. The grounds are magnificent, flowery, and natural.

Everything was perfect, only a small problem: breakfast (there was a lot missing at 7:30 a.m. and the music, choice and volume were poorly adapted). This will obviously not prevent me from coming back. Bravo to the restaurant team (and its constantly evolving chef)

Excellent stay in every way
The description of the services does not correspond to reality. No swimming pool, no sauna, no Canal Plus channels or Bein. The Nespresso machine did not work. These are small details, but given the price, we can expect more rigor.

The cottage needs a modern update. It’s stuck in the nineties. The beds are not that comfortable. WiFi was really bad. That we could let out dog out in the yard next to our cottage that’s a plus. Dinner was really good.
Excellent as always
The hotel is beautiful. However I would not stay again or recommend the hotel as we had a big issue with food. When arrived I asked if I could book the restaurant but was told it was fully booked. I questioned why a hotel could not accommodate all people staying in the restaurant ? We struggled to do a a nearby restaurant or takeaway service with open or one that had space for us. I was travelling with my young children who are 3 years old. I was getting very stressed trying to find food for them and at no point did the hotel offer me or my children any alternatives. I would’ve expected at least for the hotel to offer food in our room or our on the outside bench seating. At least a plate of cheese or bread etc for my children to eat. I was very dissatisfied and upset about the whole situation and consequently ruined my stay.
I was extremely disappointed to hear visiting the hotel before 5 was not allowed due to a wedding. This was too late when travelling with young children on a very hot day. We had little time to make use of the facilities we had paid for.
We stayed in the cottage which was in need of updating/modernisation. The bathroom had a lot of mould and was nowhere near 4 star standard or at all comparable with the other hotels we stayed at on our visit.
There was limited staff availability at breakfast or in general, with the food and cutlery very slow to be replaced.
Disappointing stay and end to our trip in France.

Very beautiful and very pleasant staff. Too bad for the insufficient Internet at the cottages and the impossibility of having cold drinks (no refrigerator in the rooms and bar only open from 6 p.m.).
