Excellent welcome. Quiet and very comfortable hotel
A very beautiful place and property. Large room, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Note a few small details, such as a decoration that had come loose from a chandelier and was therefore dangling. The bathroom had a whirlpool-style bathtub, but it wasn't really possible to shower standing up without splashing water everywhere. Similarly, the shower hose was old and very difficult to switch to the shower position. Breakfast was adequate. I recommend this place for its location, but also for its peace and quiet and surroundings. The partner restaurant is excellent for an overnight stay!
Fabulous. A 3-star hotel that's worth 5. The welcome, professionalism, and kindness of the owner, his daughter, and their staff are exceptional. They are all thoughtful and attentive to guests' needs. The location, the Agnès Sorel suite with its spa bath, jacuzzi, hammam, and two saunas (infrared and traditional) are outstanding. Beautiful setting - very peaceful
The establishment is very decent, the location is excellent, and the grounds are charming. However, the devil is in the details: they forgot bathrobes, towels for the spa, and champagne. The spa floor was waterlogged, and the massage wasn't very relaxing due to the noisy staff and the poorly heated room. Finally, the reservation hadn't been made for us with the inn despite the romantic getaway offer.

A very pleasant surprise. The setting is lovely and relaxing. The spa is a real bonus for a wellness break. A personalized welcome and friendly interactions. A decent room with a comfortable bed. A superb breakfast featuring local Norman products and excellent teurgoule (a traditional Norman rice pudding)! A place to discover any time of year!
A very pleasant weekend; the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The only downside I can mention is the jacuzzi: there was no handrail to help you get in, so I wasn't able to use it for fear of falling.

This was a wonderful place to stay. The room was well kept, quiet, comfortable, and very clean. The grounds were also immaculately well maintained with relaxing little destination areas to enjoy. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The Benedictine Abbey ruins are only about a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
For our 20th anniversary, I surprised my partner. We were delighted with our stay, which included a spa and a duo massage. Not accessible to people with reduced mobility. And the bathtub was quite high. A magnificent setting.

Our room was spacious, but located on the ground floor, very close to the entrance to all public areas (reception, breakfast, pool, etc.), along a gravel path. This made it noisier than expected and less than private. People were constantly walking by; even the reception staff stood there to chat. There's a fountain in front of the window, which is also switched on at night and is really disturbing if the window is open. All of this was bearable for our two nights. However, I had specifically requested a quiet room and found the room assignment incomprehensible. There were quieter and more private places in the complex. The complex itself is very beautiful, and the staff very friendly.

While hiking the GR2, we initially chose this hotel as a stopover. But the pool provided a welcome respite after our first two days of hiking. And, after a comfortable night's sleep, the rich and varied breakfast helped us set off again with energy!
Three days at the hotel, one of which was wasted... It's a shame for an establishment that advocates calm and serenity to impose on us a group of about fifteen young people in difficulty, poorly managed, who disturbed our afternoon at the pool and our night until 12:30 a.m. when I called management to stop the commotion. It's a real shame because the first impression was excellent.
Beautiful place and lovely staff
The manager is very friendly, the place is in perfect condition and very well maintained, the breakfast is top notch, as is the quality of the service. The only point is that the prices for a massage are too expensive; more reasonable prices could encourage more people to treat themselves. Otherwise, I recommend it and I will return.

I have already made various comments, I am recalling some of them for constructive purposes. As is often the case, there are shortcomings in practical aspects in the rooms: not the slightest coat rack in the bathroom, no curtain for taking a shower so the room is flooded, no glass for brushing teeth unless it is the cardboard cup placed on the bed, ... For breakfast, no scrambled eggs at the buffet and a basket with ONE croissant per person is brought to the table. This is very disappointing for a hotel of this category! Similarly, in a three-star hotel (which is already high for France), the staff is a little better dressed and behaves properly (here the one who seemed to be the boss walks around in Bermuda shorts in the breakfast room while the staff seems to "occupy" themselves at certain times around the reception desk by wallowing there).

An excellent stay. The welcome is warm, the setting is very relaxing, the exteriors very well maintained (magnificent flowers). The room is spacious with three windows overlooking different points of view including one of the towers of the Jumièges Abbey which is a five-minute walk from the hotel. A plus: a whirlpool bathtub. The breakfast is generous, varied with local products. There is really nothing to complain about. We will definitely come back.

It wasn't the first time and it's always a pleasure. The new manager knows his stuff very well. We had requested a certain room that we didn't get, but he was able to give us a little gift that made us forget the inconvenience. He and his team are very attentive without being intrusive. We feel at home but served like royalty. The SPA is a superb addition, very well designed and freely accessible. The beautician is like the rest of the team; discreet and very professional. Very good advice.

Relaxing location in a magnificent park, a stone's throw from Jumièges Abbey.
Next door to the fascinating and beautiful ruined Abbey of Jumieges is this very pretty group of traditional style buildings in a lovely park setting. The welcome was warm, the room attractive. There were interesting local specialties at breakfast as well as all the usual bakery items and plentiful varied ham and cheese and fruit. Highly recommended.

Everything was wonderful. The host was super helpful and booked us dinner at a lovely restaurant in town. The room was just gorgeous and we all adored the breakfast.

Beautiful hotel in a good location with garden and outdoor pool, that's on the positive side. Furthermore, as for the other side of the coin and as too often, there are some shortcomings in certain practical aspects: not the slightest coat rack or hook to hang your jacket, raincoat or toiletry bag (equipped with a hook), the fridge is tiny, worthy of a camper van, in the bathroom, it's a bathtub (with bubbles) without a curtain so if you take a shower you flood the room, no socket at the desk (you have to get on all fours to access the socket under the desk to the detriment of the lamp (I had forgotten my power strip...), the gravel on the paths does not allow you to roll your trolley or suitcase on wheels. The breakfast buffet, although well stocked, disappointed me: 1°) no scrambled eggs or bacon (there are eggs but you have to cook them yourself but it's not possible to make an omelet...) 2°) you are entitled to a croissant and nothing more! (brought to the table in a basket). If we claim the title of "mansions and castles", it would also be appropriate for the staff to have a certain "etiquette", I have rarely seen the boss (well what I believe to be the boss) walking around in Bermuda shorts, the staff was nonchalant in his absence. I am not a regular at palaces although I have already stayed in "mansions and castles" in France and Italy but I am sensitive to the quality/price ratio and it is also necessary to be consistent with the status of "mansions & castles" especially if we practice the prices, it is not enough to have a swimming pool and a spa for that to be enough. Sorry to the Management of this establishment for this very subjective opinion but it is formulated with a constructive aim otherwise I would not have formulated it. If it is to ask for an opinion and hope to have notes like at the school of fans, it is not worth it.

Enchanting setting, beautiful room, warm welcome. Pleasant pool, well-stocked morning buffet. What more could you ask for? Except not to have stayed another day!!!
Some difficulty accessing the hotel due to the viking festival. Also some difficulty with getting food due to shop/restaurants in village being shut when they were listed as open & the auberge restaurant being full. We survived boiling eggs at breakfast & saving a bread roll & making eggs mayo for lunch, helped by our mini-bar fridge. Bar service at the hotel was excellent & they made us a scandi martini to go with it, on request. There were some minor problems, however. Breakfast staff member turning off egg boiler before egg was ready. Coffee pot with broken spout that had been mended with glue, was potentially hazardous. One of the eggs we tried to boil was off & floated. I removed it from the boiler & put it to one side & told the same member off staff who had interfered with the boiler. It was not removed, so, I think, another customer picked it up from the table & put it in the boiler & it promptly exploded. In addition, staff came to check our room in the afternoon. Instead of knocking & waiting, she continued to let herself in, even though we had shouted, un moment. Generally, it was a canicule, & staff were feeling the heat. We came because we had stayed for one night last year & it was very good. This year we stayed for three, & were very grateful to have been upgraded to a larger room.
The new owner is simply perfect, cool, accessible. He adapts to the clientele (to the extent of his abilities). We had taken a break of a little over a year before returning, knowing that we came 4 to 5 times a year before, but now we will not wait that long. Thank you for this moment Sabrina Trenel
Friendly and relaxed welcome, welcome after having had difficulty waiting for the hotel because of the Medieval Days which prohibited traffic in the city. Hotel in a very pretty setting, beautiful swimming pool, pretty room with whirlpool bath, very varied breakfast buffet with "homemade" items.

Very special and quiet accommodation. Beautiful garden and swimming pool. Room very OK. Very focused on Spa & Wellness. We had a room on an upper floor (stairs), no private terrace and a short walk from the parking lot. The hotel does not have its own restaurant and there is not much choice of dining options in the village. All things considered (if you are not interested in spa or wellness like us), a bit of a walk with luggage + stairs + few dining options nearby + no private terrace, we think €150 (without breakfast) is a hefty price (June).

Superb location and estate to discover. The rooms are spacious but poorly organized and a little dated. A redesign of the bathrooms would be welcome, simply replacing the whirlpool baths with showers. A great water saver, and for those who want to relax, just go to the Spa, which is of high quality, or to the swimming pool with a soothing view of the estate and the Normandy countryside. Welcoming and professional staff. Quality breakfast, in keeping with a 3-star hotel. An electric terminal option would be a nice advantage.

Seduced from the moment you arrive by the setting, the beautiful green setting in the heart of the superb Normandy countryside, the Jumieges Abbey nearby. The welcome is friendly and smiling, the rooms are located in pretty Norman-style houses scattered throughout the park. Beautiful decoration, comfort, calm. Add to that a very pretty SPA, an outdoor jacuzzi, a beautiful swimming pool... without forgetting the delicious breakfast with local specialties... the teurgoule is to die for! We had a great time, thank you to the whole team for their efficiency and kindness
Great hotel, nice location, we had a regular room, I think if you spend a little more you have a top room. We showered in the bath. Toilet was quite cramped. We had bad weather, the pool was closed. I think it is a top place in good weather

We stayed for just one night while passing through on our bikes. The staff was very friendly, the hotel complex was very beautiful, with several buildings. A generous breakfast was provided. Unfortunately, we didn't use the pool or wellness area, but they seemed very well-maintained.

A 3-star hotel that would be worth 4 stars!
Mixed experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, we asked if access to the spa was included in the room rate: the receptionist replied that it was. So we took advantage of it, without a second thought. Later, we were stopped by the owner who, in a falsely jovial tone, said "here come the freeloaders," before explaining that access was actually not included, because we had to go through him. The next morning, without even a word, he added the spa fee to the bill. When I calmly explained that I did not intend to pay for a service that had been confirmed to be included, he replied curtly: "I was sure you were that kind of person." It's a shame that a simple misunderstanding was handled with such little professionalism and elegance.

We unhesitatingly recommend "Le Clos des Fontaines" in Jumièges, where we stayed (four nights) in May 2025. The rooms and common areas are very pleasant, and the welcome is warm and efficient. The rooms are located in several small buildings surrounding a beautiful courtyard; weather permitting, it is pleasant to enjoy the deckchairs, listen to the fountain, and observe the many passerines that inhabit it. The nights are incredibly quiet. It is also pleasant to take your time in the morning to enjoy the beautiful breakfast room. There is no restaurant, but there are several restaurants within walking distance (less than 200 m).
