We are used to staying in this hotel where we feel at home.

Superbly professional welcome Room and hotel with nice and cozy decoration

Very small bedroom, 30cm on either side of the bed with metal shelves/bedside tables therefore very aggressive in the event of shocks. Very noisy surroundings until 3 a.m. hence the obligation to have the window closed with the air conditioning out of order.

Known for 25 years, very well.

HOTEL very clean, very well located near the old port, very welcoming staff. The plus: the Vieux Port car park near the hotel and with a preferential rate thanks to the hotel.

Only one downside! The desk or worktable in the bedroom is 25cm by 60cm. Impossible to work with a computer and a notebook. For the rest, everything is well thought out and arranged.

One night stay in La Rochelle. Hotel well located in the city center in a small pedestrian street, near the port and restaurants. there are bars with terrace in the street. Very friendly welcome on arrival. Our room was small but well appointed. Comfortable bedding. Pay attention to the soundproofing between the rooms, you can hear a little, however we were not at all bothered during the night. Very good breakfast buffet with excellent pastries! Very good stay and which corresponded to our expectations.

Very very friendly welcome, comfortable bedding, and a surprise for the breakfast which was beyond our expectations (choice - homemade cakes - fruit). The only downside was the noise in the street but that's La Rochelle...

I had a wonderful experience staying at this Hotel just recently. The location was perfect with lots of restaurants and bars, everything you needed was close by including the beautiful port area. The young lady and gentleman that runs the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

Very warm welcome, we were upgraded to a larger room without asking. Breakfast, excellent, never seen in a hotel of this category, several choices of gluten-free bread! A big thank-you !

Nice surprise, colorful decor and breakfast buffet!

Super welcoming and friendly team. Extra breakfast. Location at the top. But.... Woke up the first night at 6:30 am. The 2nd at 7 a.m. while we were on vacation. Poor insulation of the rooms between them. We heard all the noises from the neighbors upstairs or next door unfortunately. Too bad because the team is really super nice. Warm water in the shower impossible to have hot hot.

Very good stay. Whenever I visit La Rochelle, I always book Cit'Hotel le Bord'o, the location is top, the reception is top, the hotel is original, the decor is super nice and the breakfast is very good. I am always very satisfied with my stay :)

This hotel is perfect in terms of cleanliness breakfast at the top the only drawback would be the noise aging hotel so may be lack of insulation on the other hand a most pleasant staff I recommend

3 floors without a lift with a suitcase, it's violent 😀 Lack of a kettle in the room available (but I was provided with one with a smile) The hair dryer is a bit aging and the water flow is too weak.

A very pleasant welcome by smiling and friendly people. You can see that everything has been thought out to make this hotel "cosy". But... the room called "comfort" because it is more spacious, is not very big. As for the decoration, we like it or we don't like it (for my part, I didn't like it. I found it sad). The room is very clean, the mattress not very soft. I was cold because not enough blankets. As for the heating, it is a reversible air conditioning with a blower noise all night long... The breakfast is great for its variety and quality. All in all I feel like the owners have gone out of their way to make this hotel welcoming but the minuses outweigh the pluses. Damage...

I was looking for a hotel located near the train station and near the start of the La Rochelle marathon. I really found the ideal hotel. I recommend it, the staff is top notch. For my next stay in La Rochelle, I would not hesitate to return to this Hotel.

Room very clean and well equipped, functional (socket, coat racks, chairs, small desk). Attentions like a bottle of water, earplugs, sweets. Excellent location I recommend this hotel but given the insulation of the rooms earplugs may be necessary for people with light sleepers.

Hello, I was very well received by the hotel team. This team cared about my well-being every day.

Hotel with an atypical and pleasant decoration, very well located. My room was well equipped and quite suitable for a 5-day training stay (limited but sufficient space), the hair dryer provided is a bit small. The reception people are competent and pleasant. The breakfast was very complete and of good quality, room a little small if several customers at the same time.

This hotel is very well located in the center of La Rochelle, you leave the car in the car park and you walk. The staff is very welcoming and kind and a special mention to Laetitia who prepares the breakfast cakes with love. The presentation of the breakfast is very nice. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very pleasant stay, very warm welcome, friendly and available staff, well presented and good quality breakfast buffet. Hotel ideally located near the old port and shops, which I will recommend to those around me. However, note that there is insufficient soundproofing between the rooms (some customers can be noisy and can be heard easily.)

I spent only one night on October 27 and I hardly slept because the room facing the shopping street was very noisy. Music and crazy atmosphere until 2am then return of customers in the hotel just as noisy until 4am. 2h30 later, the short night is over, no need to wake up, the morning people take care of it. Too bad, the young couple who manage the establishment are very welcoming and met all our needs. The breakfast is perfect and the hotel is very clean and well located.

The room was clean, the bedding comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped. The breakfast was very generous and of very good quality. The hotel is ideally located on the port. The staff is very pleasant. The room is small and the WiFi network is not excellent. We hear a lot of doors slamming and noise from the street.

This stay was a real pleasure. The hotel has a modern and original decoration. The welcome was remarkable. The team is attentive to customer needs. The breakfast buffet was very generous, with some "homemade" products. Close to the port, the convention center and the city center. A real plus. Kudos to the team.

Ziena and Alex, the owners were very helpful. A Lovely small and very unique place, only meters from the busy marina with numerous restaurants and not far from a superb market. Excellent English spoken and advice given on places to see. If we are in that area again we would love to stay there. Thank you.

Welcome. Hotel on a human scale, friendly. Breakfast with varied choices including homemade cake. The only downside: poorly soundproofed room (footsteps on the stairs, in the corridors and the room next door can be annoying (thank you for the kies balls provided in the room)

Cramped room overlooking the street (closet), poorly ventilated (odors). For €204 per night with breakfast (luckily it was there!)! ! Very badly soundproofed (we understand the balls the interest of earplugs on the bedside table). The bathroom .....

Warm and efficient welcome. Given the price (95 € excluding breakfast), the rooms are small and equipped with a 140 cm bed. In addition, they are poorly soundproofed because we could hear the footsteps of the occupants of the room located on the upper floor, as well as the shower in the adjoining room. Clean and well-kept hotel, but rooms too expensive for the type of accommodation (2 stars).

Very expensive hotel for a very very small room, a very very small bathroom…. 3 rd floor without elevator !!! with suitcases it's hard !!!! And the noise in the pedestrian street until 4am!!!! I understand better why we are offered kes balls in the rooms!!!!

The hotel is old and very poorly insulated!! We feel like we are in a giant room with other travelers. No elevator with quite steep stairs. The breakfast is very succinct... Fortunately we were very well received. The staff is great. Thanks to them. For the rest this hotel is absolutely not worth its price, whether it is for the room, breakfast or parking... €185 per night!!!! completely crazy... Much prefer the Kyriad or a BnB. Avoid (at these prices...)

On the other hand, the hotel does not have a car park, contrary to what is indicated on booking. Parking nearby for 10 euros.

Good accommodation, but insufficient sound insulation between rooms

So so ... room 3 people n°34. Armchair bed stained, with holes, when you open it impossible to open the door to get out, you sleep very badly there. Very badly insulated you must not be a light sleeper. It offers ear plugs. Very small room. Broken shutters. 3rd floor without lift. La Rochelle in high season, the hotel was full, maybe the other rooms were better.
