Close to the city center, this establishment is top-notch with very original decor. The breakfast is varied and very generous. However, I recommend taking a room overlooking the garden and not the street.

The bathroom facilities are old, no showe cabn, no hook for shower - taking shower you need to constantly hold the shower head with one hand. In the toilet the equipment is also old and there os a specific smell. I xould not switch to the hotel wifi due to not working identification procedure. The breakfast was poor vs. other hotels in the region.

The room we had was very spacious, clean and well appointed. The breakfast service was perfect!

The hotel is easy to access. There is a paid parking lot nearby with plenty of space. The Terra Aventura trail is 170 meters away. The room is spacious and has a large bathroom with a bathtub. Everything was clean. Towels and shower gel were provided.

I don't understand the 3rd star... The paint is peeling, there is no drain in the sink or a system for hanging the shower head above the bathtub, the hygiene/comfort products are not very useful (frankly, who uses shower caps or sponges to make their shoes shine...). The hygiene products hanging on the wall are not practical to use. The hair dryer is out of date, all this is only worthy of a first price hotel. Let's not talk about the decor, not very cocooning. In addition, neighbors devoid of any respect for others, noise, coming and going until 2 a.m. And since there is no staff after 10 p.m.... In short, I blame myself for having chosen this hotel for our weekend, we will not return.

Upon arrival at the hotel you feel transported into the colorful and joyful atmosphere of comics with the very original decoration of vintage machines and industrial art atmosphere. All the staff are welcoming and good advice. Very well located to visit the historic center of Angoulême in the evening and in the morning before leaving.

Old and moderately maintained premises and furniture. Ex: the water runs hot from the 2 sink taps or the fire detector has not been replaced in the room, its support remains on the ceiling. we booked a PRM room and the hotel has steps at the entrance and a bathtub in the room. You completely ignore disability. And access via the car park must be before 10 p.m., why can't people with disabilities arrive late? (we had said this and asked for confirmation for access). Your hotel is not accessible, your advertising is misleading and contemptuous for the people concerned.

Street side room a little noisy in the morning

Good value for money, convenient location close to the station and pleasant welcome. The big weak point is the soundproofing of the rooms (you can hear everything...) and the sometimes somewhat dated bathroom ceilings which could do with a little updating. Also remember to report when you hand over the keys when there is a problem with the door handle, at least we know it. 😉
