Comfortable and quiet room

Very good hotel, very good bedding, very varied breakfast. Quiet hotel, unless the neighbors think they're alone, but that's not the hotel's fault. Bathroom a little small, but we don't live there so no problem. To keep in mind for a future stay.

A room on the second floor, which turned out to be on the third, with a flight of stairs and, consequently, a walk. The room is cleaned every two days, and the hotel is closed from 12:00 to 15:00.

The welcome was deplorable both in the afternoon upon arrival and upon departure the next morning. The person who welcomed us should take smiling lessons. Apart from that, the hotel was very pleasant and centrally located for visiting the pretty town of Rochefort.

The hotel is well located (right in the center). We stayed for 3 days. Room 22 was clean, well decorated, and spacious. The cleaning staff is professional, pleasant, and friendly. The only big problem: the reception. On the one hand, the reception is closed from noon (actually 11:30 a.m.) to 3 p.m., and then after 8 p.m. On the other hand, there is never anyone at the reception. When questioned, the young man who is supposed to be at the reception mentioned "the temperature was too high, up to 28°C." Finally, the young man at the reception did not seem helpful or friendly. In short, a key box would have been just as efficient and less unpleasant. This disappointing situation is not at the level of a 3-star provincial hotel at 135 euros a night.

Clean and spacious room with air conditioning, much appreciated during the heatwave. Elevator very useful when you are on the 3rd floor with large luggage. Hearty breakfast. I will definitely come back with pleasure.

Very beautiful hotel with a quiet, old-world style. Its proximity to the city center is appreciated.

Disappointing… the receptionist wasn’t particularly helpful and very sombre. The room was adequate but the bathroom door did not shut. The room was tired.

The rooms are well appointed and decorated, but very poorly soundproofed. The wooden walls allow us to hear everything that is happening in the next room. Our neighbors talked, put on the TV and partied all night and we couldn't sleep. Don't arrive before 3 p.m., the hotel is closed. Bike safe during the night

Great hotel! Welcoming our four-legged friends, it even deserves 6 stars! Kindness, cleanliness, and helpfulness are all there. For a stay in Rochefort, don't hesitate.

Room not in accordance with the booking.com website. In addition, we had to change rooms because the bathrooms were dirty. As for the room, it was very rustic and old-fashioned, and I'm not even talking about the garden where things were lying around like cleaning equipment, rugs, dog brushes, and so on.... In short, very disappointed with my stay and the quality given the price and the number of stars, therefore I do not recommend it at all!!!!! Just a little extra for the breakfast which was satisfactory.

In the "team" section, I only gave it one tick because there was no one at reception when I arrived and left. However, the staff I spoke to on the phone were very professional and friendly.
