Room booked on August 26 and I find myself in a room with a Velux window seen on the sky??!!! Smell from the kitchens/fish Room not soundproofed, I could hear the neighbor snoring and also urinating Bathroom mirror all damaged. sink split in its length and to put your beauty products under the mirror did not hold on the wall, screws all rusty.... ROOM PRICE for 2 nights 187 euros it's a scandal!! "This room is not even worth 50 euros, it really upset me to pay 187 euros but what a shame!! I will also report it to LOGIS DE FRANCE. I have photos!!! I was in an attic for 2 days !!!!! Shame on tourism in France, that’s why I never go to France!!

Most charming old hotel in the centre of the village. Food and service were very good. Weather was against us but hopefully the next time we will eat outside. Limited parking outside the hotel but ample a short distance away.

Basic accommodation but very clean. Only issue was no air conditioning and day we stayed was 36 degrees. There was an electric fan but wasn't sufficient so had to sleep without any blankets.

WiFi function is complete!

Abandoned seasonal workers without managers, a decoration from another time that is quitky or old-fashioned to choose from... and more than rotten bedding probably dating from the decoration, lumbago guaranteed!!! a nice scam!

On the pretext of having benefited from an "advantageous" rate (95 € all the same per night), we were accommodated in a room at the end of a corridor, under the slope, with a very narrow bathroom in which we is impossible to look at yourself in the mirror when you shave since the mirror is opposite the sink and very difficult to take a shower since a huge beam passes 50 cm above the bathtub, in which you can only sit and not to lie down, because of the narrowness of the bathroom... Otherwise the room was quite adequate. With a flat on the soundproofing of the rooms both outside and inside (simple glazing for a room on the street, relatively busy at this time of the year and impression of sleeping with the neighbors of room in the same room ). Too bad because the staff was pleasant and the location excellent for visiting the Château de Chenonceaux.

The room is pretty, functional and spacious enough for 5. However, in summer the location is very noisy, even with the windows closed. No allocated parking. The pdj is too light not compared to the price, not enough variety and volume.

Magnificent service, very friendly and professional staff, delicious dishes, wines and desserts, clean and pretty room. Furniture a bit dated, but that's what we were looking for: it adds charm.

Small charming hotel, 200 m from the Château de Chenonceau. Good food, very decent breakfast. Nothing to say, to advise.

Old and dirty rooms, hair in the bathroom, questionable sheets and towels. Wifi did not work. Smells of fried food coming from the terrace to the bedroom window. Unpleasant welcome and also departure, moreover the person at the reception did not deign to do his job

Good one night stay. A small problem with the light in the bedroom from the switch which stays on all night and gives off an unpleasant light for sleeping!

Two pleasant nights after visiting Chenonceaux and Montrichard

I never put comments but it seems essential to me for this place. No soundproofing for rooms 208 209 210! We hear everything as if there were no walls, there must even be an amplification phenomenon, it's not possible otherwise, we even hear the zippers of suitcases, the slightest sniff or whisper. When you come here for a wedding anniversary stay without children, you might as well say that it's a miss... We've never slept so badly in a hotel! Not to mention the very uncomfortable mattress, dirty carpet and cramped bathroom. The 2 stars are only there for the proximity of the castle... I don't recommend for the hotel, we didn't eat at the restaurant so I can't judge.

Very nice welcome we ate at the restaurant in the evening meal took under a porch with lots of cobwebs above our head and empty plate compared to the price but very good very complete breakfast

Tourist trap… The staff is not professional or commercial, does not make you want to come back… The only good point is the location near the castle, I think the establishment plays a lot on that…

The hotel was a positive surprise for us i did not have high expectations, due to the fact that it is a 2 stars hotel. The staff was very kind and they were always helpful and accommodated all our requests. The rooms were quite small, but just enough, furniture a bit old, but very clean. The wifi was not functioning in our room unfortunately and there was no fridge in the room, we have missed that a little bit, but otherwise we were very satisfied with the place.

Perfect welcome, charming staff, good quality catering and quiet location On the other hand, on the bedroom side, a particular and tenacious smell and a little cramped space. The hair dryer is broken, but its replacement is planned… too bad for us.

Room too hot, it(was an oven. and moreover which overlooks the street with all the passage (car + pedestrians). A few fries with sausage would be welcome!

4 parking spaces for the hotel is a bit tight. Obligation to find a place in the adjacent streets!

The staff very well received.

Close to the Château de Chenonceau which is accessible a few minutes walk away. Our room was attic, well equipped, clean and quiet. Pleasant and very available staff: friendly and caring. Restaurant open late (unlike the others nearby): recommended even by its colleagues (incredible!) and very good quality food at flexible and affordable prices. Varied and plentiful breakfast. Small but functional bathroom: bathtub shorter than normal (but whose size seems imposed by the architecture of the building). Wi-Fi complicated to use: I finally gave up.

Charming hotel, very pleasant, comfortable and very well located for visiting the castles of the Loire. Very good quality restoration. Very welcoming and very friendly staff. I highly recommend it!

The wifi does not work, the bedding is not very comfortable and the breakfast is expensive compared to the service, the price of the room being low.

Welcome, friendly and professional, neat meal, quality and quantity by appointment, attentive and friendly service. Clean but aging room, bathroom to refresh. Hearty and varied breakfast. Quiet and pleasant hotel. I recommended.

As a two start hotel I was very pleased with this establishment. Hardworking people provided great service.

Too much noise

Maid's room. Really too small in the attic, no air conditioning, luck for us it was not too hot. I dare not imagine the heat in the room in the middle of a heat wave. Positive point the cleanliness of the room.

This is a two-star hotel that is charming, inviting and big on service. Very enjoyable.

We are disappointed not to have been able to have dinner following a hot air balloon flight which ended at 9:30 p.m.

I have been going to this hotel for 5 years now, in August. The treatment is good and the prices are right.

Terrible reception no parking and the rooms just old and very disgusting: No air conditioning and the room smelled just awful, only had a fan which gave me a cold.

Good traditional hotel in a great location for the local chateau. one of our rooms was quite small for two people, but they staff moved us to a bigger room with no fuss. no air con in the rooms and the weather was very hot a night. Overall nice hotel and a good stay.

Very poor welcome by the girl receptionist. Even a "Bonjour" from myself was met with no response.
I would certainly not agree that by bedroom could be called Grand Comfort! It was very small. It was also very hot, and the fan provided was inadequate.
The who hotel looked rundown, and needs a complete refurbishment.
However, the food was good, and the evening waiter attentive.
Breakfast was good.

We chose this hotel because we had been there in 2009, nothing has changed in the decor, the reception needs new armchairs... the cleaning leaves something to be desired, we were there during the heat wave and there is no no air conditioning (under the roof it's unmanageable-sauna) the small fan hadn't been dusted, the blackout curtain hadn't been put up, the shower cubicle had some work done (I don't think the professionals are on top because the joints are poorly made and the bottom tiles have been broken and adjusted) we will not repeat this experience.

Attention all of us as customers was superb! The helpfulness and smiles were exceptional despite the staff being under full tourist pressure. Our many thanks!

We inherited a tiny room that looks a bit like the room under the stairs at Harry Potter's adoptive parents (I have pictures). On the other hand, it is very interesting if someone wants to spy on the people in room 209: you can hear absolutely everything they say to each other, without having to listen. We wanted to change rooms:... We were told very curtly that it was not possible (the hotel was full). Wifi was not working. The person at the reception - particularly unpleasant - told us that "it was a disaster" (no wifi in the whole hotel).

In half board the choice of the menu does not change, limited choice when you stay 3 days

Very warm welcome, the room was small but sufficient for one night, and everything was clean. Good breakfast. The location is really ideal.

Pleasant welcome. Satisfactory breakfast. As for the room, the decor needs to be reviewed (to be modernized) and the partitions should be soundproofed (we feel like we live in the same room as our neighbours). The building and its location are ideal for visiting the castle.

The hotel needs a good refresh. Old stained carpet, faded wallpaper. Small attic room, so to go to one side of the bed, body contortion is mandatory, not easy if you have back pain...

very good overall, to renew

Without being accommodated "princially", we imagined, arriving at Chenonceaux to be properly accommodated. Cramped room under the slope, toilets from another age! This impression was all the more felt since, deliberately choosing family hotels, we had spent the previous night in another "LOGIS" in which we had discovered a large room, very comfortable, rather modern and practical in its facilities for a price equivalent, this not being our most important criterion. The restaurant is cold although the food, although not very varied, was of good quality and the staff pleasant.

Good hotel close to the castle

Chambre exigu d'un autre temps, baignoire petite, moquette en mauvaise état, seul point positif la literie.
Petit déjeuner à 12 euros complet mais pas fait maison.
Dîner, prix excessif 25 euros 3 pommes de terre et un petit morceau de steack et une panacotta, le plat reste bon mais les quantités n'y sont pas l'originalité non plus.
Restaurant les charmilles à 1km +++.

Chambre minuscule sous comble, pas pratique. Même constat dans la salle de bain, obligée d'être assise pour me doucher car sous comble et sous une poutre.

Chambre réservée pour 4 adultes (nous étions en fait 2 adultes et 2 ados heureusement). Le 4e lit est un lit tiroir et la configuration de la chambre n'est pas du tout adaptée pour utiliser ce 4e lit. Nous avons été obligés de "déménager" le petit salon.
Les toilettes et une des couettes n'étaient pas très propres.
3 serviettes de toilette seulement alors que nous étions 4.
Prix du petit-déjeuner un peu cher.
Pas d'efforts du chef de salle pour nous trouver une table au restaurant le soir. D'accord nous n'avions pas réservé mais je pense qu'en tant que client de l'hôtel, une solution aurait pu être trouvée.

Value for money overall however many things could have been improved on. The room was very small, the bathroom even more so with some serious design flaws (toilet placed in such a way as to make it difficult or indeed impossible for a tall person to sit on. Toilet paper dispenser position in such a way as to make it impossible to reach unless you were a contortionist. The beds were hard and squeaky. There was however a noticeable effort at providing some comfort to the client: shower gel, soap, shampoo, decent towels and heated radiator to dry them, air dryer and tissues. The food was good but expensive and not designed for someone with a healthy appetite. I was shocked to pay 5.50 euro for what was supposed to be a glass of wine but was in fact barely the third of a small glass.

Très bien. Un seul grief. Les chambres sont très sonores. Ronflements du voisin comme si on y était , et téléphone très matinal , 7h30 et très bruyant. Nous avons bénéficié de sa conversation en allemand ainsi que de celle de son interlocutrice pendant une demi heure . Réveil peu agréable. Sinon très bonne literie dans la chambre.
