We had a very pleasant stay at Logis Hôtel Relais de la Source. The hotel has a lot of charm and character, and you can immediately feel that this is a place with history. The property appears to have been beautifully restored, with several buildings linked together while still preserving the authenticity and atmosphere of the original setting. That gives the hotel a unique feel that you do not often find anymore.
Of course, a historic building also comes with a few small quirks. The floors do not always feel perfectly level and the walls are not always completely straight, but that is really part of the charm rather than a flaw. Overall, everything was done neatly and with care.
We were welcomed kindly at reception by a very young lady who may still be gaining experience, but she handled everything well and gave us a good first impression.
The suite itself felt a little old-fashioned in terms of interior style, but clearly in line with the vision and atmosphere the owners wanted to create. The private jacuzzi was a lovely feature and very nicely integrated into the room in a way that feels a bit special without giving too much away. The only small downside was that the bubble function in our jacuzzi did not work, as the button that should activate it seemed stuck and I could not get it started. I could of course have gone back to reception, but by then I was already in the jacuzzi and it would have been quite a hassle. The jets did work though, and they were absolutely wonderful. I also forgot to mention it when checking out.
The bed was very spacious and warm, although for my personal taste the mattress was a bit too soft. That is of course subjective and not really something I would hold against the hotel.
There is also convenient parking, including electric charging points for those who need them, and the hotel offers additional wellness facilities such as a swimming pool, sauna and outdoor jacuzzi that can be reserved.
Unfortunately, I cannot comment on the breakfast because we did not have time to take it. Dinner, however, was definitely of a high standard. The food came close to star-level quality in my opinion. The only area that does not yet fully match that level is the service. You could feel the pressure rise once the restaurant became full. The service was certainly still correct, but when the dishes are of such a high level, the service also needs to follow that same standard. That is often what truly sets the best restaurants apart, but it is also clearly something they can still improve on.
Overall, we had a very good experience here. It is not a budget-friendly stay, but the price-quality ratio is fair and justified. You are paying for charm, atmosphere, comfort and a setting that feels genuinely special. For us, it was definitely worth it.

Of course, an old property comes with a few quirks such as uneven floors and slightly crooked walls, but that really adds to the atmosphere rather than taking away from it.
The reception was friendly, and our suite was fully in keeping with the hotel’s classic and traditional style. The private jacuzzi was a great feature and felt like a special extra. The only small issue was that the bubble function did not work, although the jets worked perfectly and were excellent.
The bed was very spacious and warm, even if the mattress was a little too soft for my personal preference. There is also parking, electric charging points, and wellness facilities such as a pool, sauna and outdoor jacuzzi.
We did not have breakfast due to lack of time, but dinner was of a very high standard, close to star-level in terms of the food. The only point that could still improve is the service during busy moments, as it did not always fully match the quality of the dishes.
Overall, this is not a budget stay, but it is definitely worth it. A charming and memorable place with a lot to offer.

Good evening, my review concerns a stay from September 16 to 17, 2025. Unfortunately, I came with my wife with a smartbox, so we were put in room 7!! to "avoid the completely ruined bedding, the deplorable sanitary facilities, plus there was no toilet paper? We called the person at reception "not very friendly" who moved us to a superior room which is only superior in name, a little bigger but nothing exceptional, the bathroom is old, a large bathtub but the taps seem backwards, a toilet with a macerator, what discretion for the night. Cascading electrical extensions, I'm not sure if that's legal? The bedding was better than the first but nothing amazing. An outdoor pool that we had to use but it wasn't heated, plus it was green, the exteriors were not maintained, leaves everywhere, greenish tables and chairs, when you see 3 stars you expect better. For the evening meal, it started well, starter TB, however, for the main course, stew in red wine with low-cost beef, the sauce was so reduced that it became inedible (icing on the cake our dishes were served to another table where people started to eat after seeing the mistake the waiter took the plates and went back to the kitchen, we were served these dishes again 2-3 minutes after the meat in sauce we didn't really see the difference on the other hand the vegetable platter was cold, we didn't eat the main course and another table also sent back the same dish "reduced sauce, too bitter. for the dessert which was supposed to be homemade we were told that it came from a pastry chef in town. for breakfast it was positive there was a good buffet which made us forget our bad experience a little. in short I do not recommend this hotel I don't know who distributes the stars but honestly it's not worth 3 stars. I decided to leave a comment because when you see the photos on the web and see what you saw on site you have the impression that you have been had.
We loved this beautiful hotel and spend a very good night in a lovely room! It also had a cosy high quality restaurant were we absolutely enjoyed our dinner (and which had very good options for us despite our restricted budget). Also the people were lovely! An absolut recommendation!
Not the wine on the menu. Missing the butter knife and not possible to get one, it's in short supply. It was freezing in the room, luckily there was a space heater. On the other hand, there is no heating in the restaurant, you don't enjoy a meal when you're freezing.
Friendly welcome, very good establishment, excellent room and food. The services described are there. A few minor drawbacks: I didn't receive the email for the SPA time slot, but it was well managed upon our arrival. The room was rather cool upon our arrival. We would have liked a little more heat after a day outside. The SPA massage chairs were not very effective.
The Relais de la Source is surely one of the best Logis de France that I have been able to visit in recent years. If you like old stones, books, great cuisine and great wines, do not hesitate. There is a search for excellence without it being stuffy, there is harmony in the whole and something atypical that made my stay unforgettable. I hope to return there as soon as possible.
Good for one or two days but not for three or more. Three times the same amuse bouche and two times the same rice. The breakfast was not so good, no service.

Lamentable from start to finish! Dinner upon arrival: 1 hour wait for the appetizer and the 12 euro glass of wine less than a quarter full, a remark made to the waiters without taking into account. Bread served in dribs and drabs so that the starter was cold upon arrival. What manners for a 3-course meal served in 2 hours 15 minutes with 22 place settings and 3 waiters! 2 nights booked in a standard room. 1st wake-up call: cold shower [we were later told that there was a power cut during the night without a single apology for the inconvenience]. The same day, upon returning from a motorcycle trip: room not made up, no more toilet paper, only 1 bath towel changed, no more shower gel in the container! And I pass the swimming pool [more of a paddling pool], the pestilential smell of the open-air garbage in the parking lot that follows you once you're lying on the deckchairs, the "private" wellness area that isn't when other guests come to help themselves to something to eat or drink. Not to mention the owner who calls you a "slut" [?????] and orders you to "get out" of the hotel when the tone rises at the statement of the accumulation of inconveniences in a 3-star hotel that absolutely doesn't deserve them! Right to the end: at the check-in the morning of departure: 186 euro error on the bill!! That's the cherry on the cake!! In short, atrocious, to be wiped off the map! When you're showing off, you either stay in charge or change jobs... Good luck!

We really appreciated the gift from our friends thanks to the Logis Relais de la Source. While we had a nice surprise when we discovered our suite, we were disappointed by the service during our visit to the restaurant in the evening. Our starters were forgotten, which lengthened the service... A commercial gesture would have been appreciated.
Very welcoming staff and a very good cook
A very nice place, excellent cocktails. Fresh produce and homemade cuisine. However, for the package deals, the dishes should be communicated in advance or perhaps confirmed. No vegetarian options, no fish, and only one dessert that isn't suitable for those with allergies. Everything else is good, and the service is professional and discreet.
The staff welcome is impeccable but the very very mediocre services do not correspond to the high price of the rooms described as standard. Small room without air conditioning.....threaded sheets, holes!?! Room not ready when we arrived, checkout time 10:30 a.m. Excellent breakfasts: fresh and homemade products, professional and welcoming staff
The experience was fantastic, the personnel were very friendly and available. All of the above are equally at the restaurant, here it is simply sublime: the dishes are well-soigned, very creative and truly delicious. We will certainly return once again!

The room was small, dark, uncomfortable and loud!
Beautiful building. The wisteria in bloom is magnificent. However, the stairs are narrow and dark. Poor communication from reception regarding important information such as the locked entrance. Had to look for an exit at 5 a.m.!
We stayed here several times before when it was the Hotel de La Poste. There was nothing on-line to notify the name change and I was lucky to find it, as I did not think it would have ceased trading. I am glad I found it as we had a pleasant stay - and I must say the new owner has improved it! The only slight problem was that we booked on line and took the room plus breakfast and dinner option. Apparently this should not have been available, but the waitress took it all in her stride and organised food for us. There was no choice, so we had to eat what was offered, but it was fine. Each course was served with an explanation, which we thought was a pleasant addition to the dining experience! Breakfast was extremely good with a very attentive manageress.
We will visit again, I'm sure.

A very warm welcome, attentive staff, and delicious food. Breakfast was also very good: the dining room is lovely, but positioning the tables towards the pool when it's grey and rainy, and the pool is covered, is a bit dreary. May I also suggest serving scrambled eggs instead of boiled ones? Note: there was difficulty getting hot water in room 9 (it took a long time to come through). We also had trouble connecting to Netflix, but the host on duty that evening found a solution.

We booked a three night stay that included dinner and breakfast. The dinner menu on the second night was the same as the first night. It had two choices of the main course fish, which my wife loved, and calf's liver which I thought was good but not exceptional. We asked to cancel dinner on our second and third night. An adjustment to our bill was made.
Our room was spacious and nicely furnished with a couch.
The Wi Fi was annoying because it required reentry of a very long password on multiple times on each of our devices during our three day stay.
We would not return because there did not appear to be any other restaurants in the village.
