The managers and staff are very friendly and attentive to their guests' comfort and well-being upon arrival. A beautiful, very comfortable establishment with excellent amenities. The cuisine prepared by the chef and his team is flavorful and generous. Good ingredients make good dishes, and the presentation is beautiful and enhances the quality of the ingredients. Establishments like this are very rare these days! It's a shame we don't have anything like it in our region; otherwise, we'd be out every weekend. Let's hope for the future that what has been passed down and built will continue. It's a pity that their well-deserved retirement is approaching all too soon, because managers and staff like these represent the last generation who worked hard to achieve this result.

Excellent welcome, very good quality bedding, very quiet: a very good hotel address, just the kind you dream of finding!
Quiet and well-located for quick and easy access. The comfort level met expectations. Special mention for the breakfast buffet. The products offered are fairly standard but high-quality and largely homemade.
Perfect, just needs a curtain to cover the windows so you can't be seen…

We chose this hotel because of the quality 'tasty'. We are quite demanding and experienced. It was delicious and everyone should discover the quality of the food. Although the dinner was fantastic, the fluorescent lighting was harsh and uninviting.
The evening meal and welcome were very good, however breakfast was very expensive and there was no flexibility or discussion. A real shame, especially since the room door didn't lock. We had to go downstairs without locking it.

EXCELLENT ESTABLISHMENT, NEEDS RENOVATION
During our one-night stay at the Hotel L'Escapade, we discovered a truly wonderful place. The welcome was very friendly and efficient, the room was remarkably clean, and the heating was just right, both the bedroom and the bathroom – not too hot, it was absolutely perfect. The half-board meal was delightful; it was delicious, generous, well-prepared, and served with efficiency and professionalism, all delivered with great kindness. A real treat in every way. As for breakfast, it was perfect as well. A very well-stocked buffet with fresh, local products – in short, a great start to the day. All in all, an excellent stay that we highly recommend.
It's a very nice place, whether you're a tourist in the region or, like me, on a business trip.

A welcome worthy of the LOGIS de France chain...magnificent establishment and a TOP chef
The close surrounding area was a bit depressing but this hotel was a real treat. The food was better than excellent and the accommodation and reception very neat and welcoming.
Tres bonne étape, bon accueil et bonne table. Le service est rapide et un bon choix de menus. Le petit déjeuner est excellent avec une grande sélection de pains, délicieuses madeleines, petites crêpes, un plaisir au réveil.
Hello, Our review is based on a long stay with half-board; the only disappointment is that my disabled wife did not enjoy the superb swimming pool because the steps were too high, which is a shame, as this swimming pool was an important selection criterion for us...
Everything was perfect
friendly and considerate welcome
A wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was very clean and the bedding comfortable. The breakfast was generous with homemade products and fresh orange juice! Dinner was also very good; the sauces and fries were delicious.

Very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. One note: add a few accessible power outlets to plug in the increasingly numerous chargers!
Great overnight stay and an example of family run French hospitality at its best. Room on small side and a little old fashioned but cool and perfectly acceptable. Pool and aircon a godsend in 32 degrees and the restaurant and breakfast both outstanding.
The staff were very attentive.
Very satisfied: - very comfortable room located in a small detached house - indoor swimming pool - breakfast, fresh and very complete - hotel in a green setting, very peaceful - very friendly staff - very bright dining room, in the green with an unobstructed view In short, a very pleasant surprise, like a sort of oasis.
Quality of service and efficient cuisine with excellent products
This review is just my own, but I found the room very small, with minimal comfort (no wardrobe, narrow single bed, no coat rack in the bathroom, etc.). And above all, I can't believe the quality of the sheets: not sheets, but simple mattress protectors, rough and very uncomfortable, like I've never seen in a hotel. All this for 130 euros, I think it's too expensive for the service provided.
Toilets need to be reviewed. Reception. Management very good. Very good meal. Disappointed by the person serving in the dining room. Value for money not justified, penalized by the high room price.

A very good establishment. Room perfectly adequate, very clean and well equipped. The management and staff are very professional, attentive and available and very pleasant. The catering (menu and breakfast) is perfect. A very attractive evening menu, qualitative and beautifully presented, served in a very pleasant manner. The dishes follow one another at a balanced pace, without rushing or excessive delay. A well-presented breakfast, varied as desired. In summary, no "faults" either in the quality of the accommodation or in the quality of the catering. A very short but great stay! Come back without hesitation.

A very pleasant hotel with a beautiful pool and a gourmet restaurant. We had a great time. The breakfast was very complete and delicious. A spacious and comfortable room. The staff was friendly, so it was perfect for us.
I discovered a great place to stay in the Argenton-sur-Creuse region. A quiet establishment with very welcoming staff and owners. The menu offers very high-quality dishes, and I really enjoyed it. There's an outdoor pool available, so don't forget your swimsuit! As for the rooms, there's nothing to complain about: they're very comfortable and clean. They're cool despite the high temperatures. I didn't even have to turn on the air conditioning. Finally, the breakfast is very good value for money, with homemade pastries available for those with a sweet tooth. In short, a great place for a stay or a one-night stopover. I'd go back.

Everything was made so easy! We were shown to our rooms and all the electric key stuff was explained clearly. Every detail like a magnifying mirror in the bathroom! Lived the pool-,very clean, salt hit chlorine and graded steps. We do enjoyed our short stay! Restaurant was brilliant too.

A great one night stop on our road trip. A really lovely welcome from the owner. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. The food was really good - one of the best breakfasts weve had and the evening meal was excellent. The pool looked fabulous but unfortunately didn't have time to enjoy it. The room was simple but immaculate and very comfortable. We slept well - really good air conditioning. I would only mark down slightly if it were possible because we literally had no view. We enjoyed the space to sit outside and enjoy a drink before dinner. Would happily return.
