Logis Hôtel le Vernay

Week of March 7th to 13th. Very pleasant, well located about 400m from the center and far enough away for peace and quiet and parking. You can easily set off on walks along the ViaVercors from the hotel. Highlights: - the meals - the elegant and very good breakfast. Plus, eggs cooked to your liking are available à la carte. - A young couple who are dedicated to making your stay truly enjoyable. We appreciated: - The owner carrying our luggage to the first floor upon our arrival - the bedding - the dining room - the small reading room - the shower - the restaurants in town for lunch. Why we chose it: Le Vercors, Autrans, a 3-star Logis-Hôtel, orange, with parking and located outside the town center. All this at a reasonable price. Next time we'll bring our bikes!

Overall, it was a good experience: the welcome, the accommodation, and the very good restaurant. The location is excellent for cross-country skiing, next to the Nordic center and the town center. The only minor point for improvement is that the rooms were still hot at night, even with the heating off. The bathroom could use a little renovation, with a shower instead of a small bathtub.

The whole team is fantastic, we loved the room which is close to the slopes – you just put on your skis and off you go! The traditional cuisine is absolutely excellent, go there, you won't be disappointed.

A lovely little family-run hotel at the foot of the beautiful Nordic ski area, making it truly ideal at this time of year. The sunny room was very pleasant with its small terrace. The restaurant was excellent, both for breakfast and dinner. Just a small suggestion for even more comfort: add a coat rack in the entrance hall and one or two hooks in the bathroom, and improve the shower gel/shampoo dispenser. But apart from these minor details, it was perfect!

Positive points: The staff is very pleasant and attentive. The property is very well located. The bedding is comfortable. The room is pleasant. And finally, the food is high quality, featuring local products. Negative points: The access road is in poor condition. I would have liked a larger bed. The doors to the hallway should be replaced to improve soundproofing. The electric vehicle charging stations are only partially functional (one charge completed out of two attempts). This last problem stems from Tesla, who, despite the owner's requests for intervention, are apparently unwilling to take action.

The Wi-Fi was poor during my stay. The bathroom needs improvement; soap was hard to find, the rain shower was impossible to get, and showering in the bathtub was difficult. The restaurant was excellent, and the bedding was very good.

Our stay at the Hôtel du Vernay was a delightful surprise, a place we booked somewhat by chance for a romantic weekend getaway. The setting is splendid (we already knew that, being from Grenoble), and the hotel is every bit as beautiful as its surroundings! The welcome upon arrival, the cleanliness, and the comfort of the rooms were perfect. I was particularly impressed by the decor of the common areas, where high-quality, tasteful materials were chosen to create a cozy, warm, and elegant haven. There wasn't a single flaw anywhere, from the choice of lighting and the color schemes to the tableware in the restaurant. Although we came without our children, we were very pleasantly surprised by all the efforts made to accommodate them: a playroom upstairs, children's menus, booster seats, etc. As parents, we appreciated this openness and hospitality, which isn't always the case and yet makes the mental load so much lighter. In fact, we met several families during our stay, and we quickly understood why! The quality of the food and drinks offered in the restaurant and at breakfast was on par with everything else. We were served by charming and attentive staff. We appreciated the decision to source locally, whether for bathroom products (shampoo, shower gel, moisturizer) or for tableware (bread, milk, cheeses, not to mention all the homemade items). In short, a delightful little escape from the hustle and bustle of our lives. We will return as soon as possible, as a couple or with our family, and we will tell everyone we know about this place.

We stayed at the Le Vernay Hotel in Autrans, as a family of 18 people, to celebrate my birthday. An impeccable welcome, exceptionally friendly. A very high-quality meal chosen on the advice of the manager of the establishment. Afterwards, we were able to spend an evening where the attention paid by the management allowed us to have an exceptional time. The rooms suited all the participants. A hearty breakfast, made with local products and many of them homemade. In short, thank you to Dirk, the manager, for his kindness, his attentiveness and his discretion. We can only recommend this establishment. We will gladly return for another event.

Staff OK and evening meal good but room 1 is more like a closet. Absolutely avoid! Very disappointing because the larger rooms are only available if you book 2 nights. So visiting couples are sacrificed! We live in the area but we will not return in such conditions. No alternative solution was offered to us. Really disappointing!

A short two-night stay, but it went very well. The hotel is well located, just a few minutes' walk from the center of Autrans, and its swimming pool is very pleasant in the summer heat. The rooms are very nice and comfortable. The staff is really friendly, and the breakfasts are excellent.

You don't feel like you're in a hotel, but rather like you're arriving with your family, as the welcome is so friendly and welcoming.

Nothing to complain about the staff (attentive and smiling) and the very decent evening meal. On the other hand, avoid room 1, described as Cozy, which looks more like a closet... We are used to staying at Logis hotels and this is the first time we have had such a surprise and such an inconvenience. Bed between two walls and room absolutely not up to the 3-star standard of the establishment. To be banned to avoid damaging the reputation of the whole. No solution offered to our problem.
