Beautiful establishment, perfect and available welcome, impeccable restaurant service, it's a pleasure and the dishes are delicious. Spacious and renovated room.
Lovely hotel. Service was great. My french is so bad but i got everything i wanted. They were very patient.
And we had dinner at the hotel. It was one of the best meals ever.

Hotel well located but the room was very dated and left hanging in the 70s, the Wifi does not work, the bathroom is not at all functional and is from another time. It's a shame otherwise the catering service is very good, good dinner and good breakfast.
We stayed at this hotel about 20 years ago. As for the rooms, little or nothing has changed.
All in all we are satisfied.
Charming location, great staff and excellent restaurant serving delicious local food.
Only downsides were limited off road parking and slightly smelly drains - not great but not awful either.

Hôtel le Relais Champenois et du Lion d'Or is a wonderful place to stay. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the town of Sézanne and visiting the many local producers of champagne. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, all of the staff are very welcoming and they could not have been more helpful. The quality of the food in the restaurant is outstanding and the deserts are sublime, a real treat, and not to be missed. Hôtel le Relais Champenois et du Lion d'Or in one of our favourite places to stay in France and we look forward to returning as soon as we can.
We booked for one night while passing through and were greeted in a nice and friendly manner, the room was very clean and tidy, everything was good. When we booked our room, we reserved a table for dinner at the hotel and the food was excellent.

The only problem is the late opening (5pm) of the reception. When you have to prepare for an event, it's rather complicated!

Room in its own juice... clean bathroom but bathtub from the 50s, no mixer taps, no dimmed lights, no very very noisy insulation... Cold meal, little choice... 90€ per business stage it is inadmissible

Classic Relais hotel, nice rooms ours had a view of the chateau. Good restaurant with attached garden.

For the price we payed the room was good. Not much space
and old fashiond , but for one night it was good.
Only the bathroom had fungus and that is less.

ADVICE TO TRAVELERS: ASK NOT TO HAVE ROOM N°1. After booking a 1st night on the Logis Hotels app, I called the hotel to book a 2nd night. To welcome me, the boss told me that he had no choice but to give me a very small room (<9m² excluding sanitary facilities) (room N°1). In the bathroom: HS shower head (not replaced despite my report on the morning of the 2nd day), sitting on the toilet, we find our heads in the sink, the toilet seat not maintained, very small shower (not suitable for heavier people). WIFI regularly interrupted. Luckily the AC worked and the restaurant experience was good. I will only recommend this hotel if the other rooms are different.
