The proximity of the road and traffic all day and even night is problematic for the room we stayed in, but also for enjoying the park. In hot weather, it's annoying to have to close the windows. Too bad!

We completely understand your comment about the road, which is why we are transparent and honest on our websites, clearly stating that the category you booked is a "road-side family room".
Please note that the vast majority of our rooms are located in the interior courtyard or in the other wing of the building away from the road.

High-end catering, bravo to the chefs. The only downside was that it was a heatwave and my fan didn't work on speed 3 except with my finger pressed on it, I had to settle for speed 2, not enough in this high heat, it's a shame, that's not the price a fan costs

The exterior and common areas are very nice. The bedroom (ground floor) is too dark and poorly ventilated.

Superb hotel, full of greenery and quiet. Carefully decorated room, ok bedding, ok Wi-Fi. Sufficient breakfast and in a pleasant setting. However, one downside about dinner: The service is very slow. 1 hour and a half to serve a starter, a main course and a dessert. I thought I would never return to my room.

Good food, welcome and a peaceful sleep
A beautiful building in a rural location with rustic surroundings. External seating in a courtyard or garden for a drink in the sun.
A Warm friendly welcome by a charming receptionist.
Good choice of menu - both table d'hôte and à la carte - and wine list.
The only negative features were (a) gel cheveux et corps était vide (b) pas assez papier toilette
Professional stoppage
A lovely traditional hotel, beautiful, low lying stone building surrounded by natural gardens.The entrance courtyard was charming and the terrace along the south side of the building, outside the restaurant, was the perfect place for pre dinner drinks. We were greeted by a friendly , English speaking receptionist, who took all our details, before showing us to our rooms , explaining the facilities and dining arrangements, en route.
The owner greeted us in the bar before showing us out onto the terrace for pre dinner drinks. On entering the stunning, elegant restaurant, we were again greeted by the friendly receptionist who explained the extensive menu in both French and English. There was the option of the menu of the day or the A La carte, both varied and reasonably priced. A good wine menu with again a wide ranging choice to suit all pockets. The ambiance was perfect for both friends and couples , being calm and atmospheric. The meal was exceptional, superbly cooked and beautifully presented.
The management and staff were an absolute delight! We visited previously for one night five years ago and always intended to return, we were definitely not disappointed and will return again when in the area.
