Nothing went as it should have! In your 2026 guide, the maximum price per night is €92, but we paid €306 for 3 nights. The hotel's condition doesn't warrant a rating; it's very outdated and lacks sound and thermal insulation. I would like to be able to provide you with the photos I took. The price is over €100 per night, especially considering the bedding isn't of hotel quality, the towels are threadbare, and the bathroom... I didn't shower because I don't usually shower with rust everywhere. We were near a ski resort, so the latest departure time was 10:00 AM, and the vacuum cleaner was running in the hallways from 9:00 AM. Not everyone goes skiing, and we're in a hotel to relax and unwind! Over €100 per night!!! Furthermore, the sign says restaurant/hotel, but it's now just an aparthotel. We didn't end up staying; we paid over €300 but only stayed one night. It was my husband's 50th birthday, and I'm so disappointed—you can't imagine how much! We came for a weekend in June with family, the establishment was almost empty. Very warm welcome with smiling and pleasant staff. The setting is pleasant, calm with a river nearby. No restaurant but possibility to heat up local dishes made by a partner in a shared kitchen, an original concept. Local drinks are also offered (sodas and Auvergne beers) which we recommend. Comfortable rooms with a modern bathroom and XL bedding. The breakfast is varied and of quality, served in a friendly room. Small downside on the packed lunches which we found basic (ham sandwich, butter, egg, fruit, bottle of water). Only the homemade cake was out of the ordinary. A Cantal cheese sold on site among the local products would have been appreciated in this basket for example. We emphasize the kindness and professionalism of the employees who were at the top!
