We had a room with a door that was difficult to close and difficult to open. The bed is particularly hard! The towels were "rough". There was not even a bottle of water for a 3 star! On the other hand, the welcome was great, and the room is air-conditioned.

What a surprise to discover your negative rating and feedback following your short one-night stopover in our establishment. The bedding in your room is new from the beginning of 2023, so everything is done to offer you optimal comfort. However, it is likely that you are used to or prefer softer/softer support. The presence of a courtesy tray with a bottle of water is not mandatory in hotels up to 3***. However, we offer a bar service and the tap water is perfectly drinkable. It is true that some door locks have a small notch to pass when you turn the key, but nothing so annoying that it could spoil a stay. We easily open/close them ourselves for daily cleaning. Shower hose installed upside down: not possible to install it on the shower bar. No smoke detector. I think it is mandatory though. Not much choice at breakfast, but that's just a personal opinion. We had the pleasure of your short one-night visit during your stopover in Biscarrosse and we thank you for it despite a mixed response from you. When you notice malfunctions in your rooms, please come and report them to reception immediately DURING your stay. It is only by knowing the facts that we are then able to call in the technician who will fix it in a few minutes. Regarding fire detectors, I invite you to consult the legislation concerning the hotel industry on this subject and thus avoid risky and especially erroneous statements. They are present in all corridors and common areas but not mandatory in the rooms. In addition, like any hotel, we have regular safety commission checks verifying compliance with the regulations, the last one dating from 2023. The bedding in the room you occupied was changed last year and therefore the most recent. I agree, however, that the comfort of a mattress is a subjective element, linked to the preference of more or less firmness. After examining your reservation, I note that it was made at the last minute on 08/08 only for an arrival on 11/08 and on a family room for 4 that you occupied at 2. The first half of August is the busiest period of the summer for which hoping to have the choice of rooms and better rates goes hand in hand with early booking! I insist again on the fact that the reception is at your service from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. and always ready to answer you, exchange, we are lucky as you mention to have a caring and available team.

The rates are indeed those of the high season, they are in line with our location and the category of hotel that is ours. Note that the rates of the online platforms differ from those directly. It is important to specify that only 8 rooms out of the 49 that the hotel has are located on the road side, the triple comfort rooms and the family rooms. The exposure of each of our ranges is specified in the description of these. Our location a little set back; as you mention, 1.5km from the city center is a plus because we are on the edge of the forest and far enough away from the hustle and bustle, which is appreciable all the more during the summer. When you book, do not hesitate to call the hotelier directly also in order to have more information, to be better guided, we are also there for that.

a bedside lamp was not plugged in and no outlet nearby; we had to go look under the bed for an extension cord which had not been connected to the lamp on the other hand what is this toilet bowl located so low near the floor??as for the restaurant someone a custard which should have come straight from the pack bought at the supermarket All this while specifying that we are not used to complaints; we almost never do it cordially

Slightly old furniture....
As its name makes it appear hotel in the woods with all the well-being
E excellent stay and full satisfaction with the hotel and restaurant. However, 3 terrace markets to access the room. No privacy on this small, almost useless terrace. Finally, big problem with service at breakfast. Crowd in front of the inaccessible buffet and staff overwhelmed to lapmrovise. These comments remain constructive because we will come back to them. The 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor seem more intimate.
The bathroom very good. Room ok for 3 and clean. On the other hand, no window opening apart from the door. Previously we had booked a room for 2 people and we had a kettle with tea in the room. In rooms of 3 there is no harm. Otherwise thought about replacing the glasses when customers are there for several days. And thought about putting a roll of toilet paper when the paper is well used, especially in a room of 3 people. Otherwise the impeccable buffet breakfast, just the steps when you are on the first floor and the access quite far from the rooms when it is raining heavily not practical and be careful not to slip, a corridor would be perfect to access the breakfast.
I booked at the last minute but I am completely satisfied with my stay. The hotel is very well located along the cycle path and 10 minutes from the beaches.
Overall the stay went well. Good welcome and clean room/bathroom. The swimming pool is not very big but it is well heated. The room being located on the road side, the night was not calm because you can almost constantly hear cars/trucks. .I was therefore disappointed with the price paid (more than 130 euros without breakfast and without being in high season).

Stay in Biscarrosse 4 nights, hotel well located 20 minutes walk from the central beach and the heart of Biscarrosse plage. Very comfortable room in a quiet area overlooking the swimming pool. Buffet breakfast with a wide sweet and savory choice. The restaurant is very good quality of products service and value for money at the rendezvous. The hotel staff is both caring and very discreet. I highly recommend this establishment.
Room 304 is very noisy (restaurant terrace nearby and constant traffic in front of the hotel).
Good stay overall. Swimming pool available very appreciable, too bad that some tourists reserve the deckchairs by simply depositing their towels. Perfect staff and very nice breakfast. Room not very well soundproofed.
