We arrived at the hotel during the heatwave.
The hotel made heroic efforts to try to keep the rooms cool.

Very friendly welcome, comfortable bed, beautifully decorated room, clean, excellent breakfast and a magnificent dining room. The only downside, but not insignificant: the air conditioning...

This was our third time staying at the hotel. This time, it was very disappointing. We knew the room did not have air conditioning. This time, we had a room on the second floor under the roof; it was stifling hot in the room even though the windows and curtains were closed. It was a great pity that no fan had been installed to make the night even remotely comfortable. There were also no mosquito nets on the windows so that the windows could be opened at night without mosquitoes. The check-in was polite, but there was no further interaction with the reception. Upon departure, we were told that the bill still needed to be paid, even though it had already been settled via Booking.com. The receptionist insisted, but eventually, after checking, she had overlooked it. The staff is very young, which is not a problem in itself, but you do notice that they are inexperienced and have no passion for engaging with the guests; it was purely businesslike and curt.

Really lovely hotel with great staff and excellent breakfast. The family room was very big and easily accommodated our family of four. We’d definitely recommend.

Nice quiet place to spend the night, bit oldfashioned room, but clean and spacious

This was our second stay at this hotel. This time we weren't in the main building but in an annex at the entrance to the grounds. The annex is still under construction; you clearly enter a building site. The door number isn't indicated, and then on the landing outside the apartment, all the cleaning equipment is stored… which isn't very welcoming. Finally, the apartment is in the attic with skylights very high up, all electric with remote controls that don't work except for one. So we were only able to open one skylight, and we spent a sweltering night in the stifling heat… which is unacceptable. There were also numerous cobwebs in the apartment, and the bathroom wasn't completely finished… A disappointment, and above all, a very unrefreshing night.

Perfect place to stay !

Perfect. Impeccable welcome. Magnificent house. Very well decorated. If we're being picky, perhaps we could use a more hygienic floor covering than the thick carpet in the bedrooms, and make Wi-Fi access easier, for example with a room number and a password that's easy to remember.

Beautiful place. A very pleasant surprise. Hotel with a beautiful inner courtyard. Authentic. Nice rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast buffet was extensive and deliciously fresh. Staff very friendly and attentive. The only thing that was slightly less... the electric charging stations are only accessible to a limited number of cards. You can pay with a Visa card, but it is not very easy to use. But for us, this was not a dissatisfier at all.

A very warm welcome. The room and bathroom were very well-equipped and quietly situated overlooking the park. The park/garden was beautifully landscaped and a pleasant place to relax. Breakfast was excellent and served in a lovely breakfast room.

The hotel doesn't open until 4:30 PM, which can be quite inconvenient. Everything else was excellent, from the charm and decor of the building and rooms to the grounds. The staff is very friendly.

Everything was perfect

Connecting to the Wi-Fi is complicated due to complex passwords and the fact that it changes from room to room. // Adjusting the shower mixer tap: I've already tried it in three different rooms in the hotel, and the taps are too sensitive and poorly configured. It takes more than 5 minutes to find and stabilize the correct temperature...

Depending on the receptionist present, reasonably good English is spoken. The breakfast is a good, varied European breakfast with always fresh self-service orange juice and various hot drinks. We have been coming here for several years in a row to visit family in the region.

Small room with a small window, unhygienic carpeting, broken shower fittings, very basic and overpriced breakfast, cold common rooms, unkempt grounds, check-in not possible before 4:30 pm, price/performance ratio is completely unacceptable.

A beautifully renovated, classic building in a wooded park. Spacious, enclosed parking. Just steps from the town center (Place Duroc). Very welcoming staff, generous breakfasts. We highly recommend this gîte.

Beautiful old building with lovely rooms and a breakfast room. A wonderful bed. The hotel is easily accessible, and it's great that you can park securely on the premises. Initially, we didn't get the room we booked, but that was quickly resolved and we were given a replacement. It would be nice if the shower head in the bathroom could be hung at a height, which isn't possible at the moment. Otherwise, we found it a great place to stay for a very reasonable price.

The grounds are gated, and the beautiful house is unobtrusive from the road. Parking is available on-site, with a public charging station for an electric car. The host was very courteous and helpful, first in French and then in English. The room was lovely, with all the amenities I needed, and a bottle of water was provided. Unfortunately, I didn't have a good night's sleep due to the leaking rainwater drain, which was audible through the rain. The breakfast buffet is excellent, with the option of making freshly squeezed orange juice.

An outstanding recently restored hotel

Good except the lack of a chair.

Beautiful old but renovated hotel, near the center of the small city. It was a warm day. There was an airco in the room but no possibility to connect it with electricity!! Breakfast was okay. Also the parking.

It's helpful to know in advance that access to the parking spaces is only available AFTER check-in at 4:30 PM. We arrived earlier and wanted to park our car and explore Pont-a-Mousson on foot, but that wasn't possible, and we had to find a (paid) parking spot. Since the gate is in a difficult place to turn around, we had to enter the village first to avoid creating a dangerous situation. The gate finally opened 5 minutes before 4:30 PM.

We stayed at this beautiful, high-quality hotel again on our return trip from our vacation. Everything was perfect right away. The reception, the room, the breakfast—the entire stay was fantastic.

The hotel is simply fantastic for us. It's easily accessible and has ample parking. Reception is easy to reach by phone, which we found helpful during our traffic jam. The room was excellent; we slept very well. The breakfast is also excellent, with everything from sweet to savory. And breakfast times are very flexible. We would happily recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for one night in the family room on our way back from southern France. It's a lovely, authentic French hotel within walking distance of the town center, where we had a wonderful dinner at Pierre Bonaventure (tip: make sure to make a reservation). Excellent beds, a clean and cozy room, a pleasant atmosphere, and a good breakfast (children stay free). Another bonus: private parking at the hotel (the gate is locked at night). In short, a wonderful end to our holiday.

The hotel isn't clearly visible from the (not so pleasant) street. But once you find the entrance gate, you'll understand why it's called Hôtel du Parc! An oasis of tranquility in a beautifully renovated, classic hotel. And you can charge your electric car on-site! Highly recommended.

Overall a good stay for 3 nights, attention to replenishing things in the room/bathroom a disappointment. Continental breakfast was below what we might have expected - tinned fruit not fresh for fruit salad, only bananas on first 2 days - better choice on 3rd, no plain yogurt/ fromage blanc for first 2 days - actually asked the girls to be sure to buy some for the third day and it was then provided on final morning. Coffee machine ran out of milk one day and coffee on another - staff reactive rather than pro active.

We charged the battery of our car starting 21.30 and went to sleep. When we received the bill €3 per hour has been charged excluding the battery charge!!! While the charger was on the private parking place ov the the hotel!

Ons besproken en bevestigde restaurant bleek gesloten. Snel werd er een vergelijkbaar restaurant voor ons besproken. Ligt op 10 minuten lopen van het centrum. Prettig dat er laadpalen op de afgesloten parkeerplaats zijn. Aanrader.

It was one of the most beautiful rooms ever seen in France with lots of space, very nice setting, very good breakfast. And we have often slept in hotels. Top check in. Unfortunately just before 11 o'clock when we were leaving, we were asked by the staff at the door of the room to quickly check out. All the perfection and atmosphere of the hotel was broken instantly.

The outside looks old, but the rooms are neat and modern. The reception was very pleasant and extremely friendly. The breakfast was well taken care of (walking buffet).

Sfeervol hotel, met veel oude details en een grote tuin. Wij hadden kamer 6, met tuinzicht. Een ruime sfeervolle kamer met moderne badkamer. Geluiddicht kan kloppen, niks gehoord van andere gasten.
Enige minpunt was het smalle tweepersoonsbed: 1,40 breed met één matras, waardoor je steeds wakker wordt als de ander zich omdraait. Ik gaf t ook aan bij de receptie en deze zei dat er geen groter bed in past. Dat is niet zo. Past best!
Het ontbijt was prima, ruime keuze en mooie locatie in de voormalige sfeervolle serre. Kom vroeg, anders moet je wachten op het bijvullen van t buffet .
Tip voor hotel: warme pannekoekjes zijn lekkerder 🙃
De haardroger is bijna onbruikbaar want je krijgt snel en lamme duim van t knopje indrukken. Werkt niet goed.


Let op, het hotel opent pas om 16.30, dus niet eerder komen dan sta je voor gesloten deur.

Beautiful place outside and inside.
Our room was top floor at the front and was excellent.
Location in the town was good as a 15 min walk in any direction and you could find what you needed.
We had breakfast and it was good quality, but not much variety compared to other places we stayed.
And also no ironing equipment available, we have had this in a couple of places, but it would take much to have one available to use.

Hotel du Parc is very well located, close to the city, close to the river and in front of the hotel a very good restaurant. All within walking distance.
The room was spacious specially with our two dogs, clean, very nicely decorated and very good isolated. No noise from the other guests or from outside. We had a warm welcome from the owner and a very good explanation were we could go. The breakfast was very well, sometimes we had to wait for extra bread and a egg. We had a wonderful stay and we definitely would recommend this accommodation.

Spacious room with perfect bathroom

The location is beautiful. What was disappointing is that we had informed in advance and we were promised a wheelchair accessible room. Upon arrival the room appeared to be on the ground floor but had no further adjustments. The next day we saw on the map that there was indeed an adapted room. Upon inquiry it turned out to be given to someone else.

It's a very nice hotel, with a good restaurant on the other side of the road. Make an early reservation for the restaurant.
