Thank you first of all for the upgrade. Your establishment is very well appointed. I appreciated the professional welcome and the breakfast. Finally, the location near the lake is fantastic.

A very pleasant stay, a lovely, comfortable hotel, and an efficient staff. Good value for money for breakfast. Two small things to improve: the bathroom door is made of glass, and when used at night, the light partially diffuses into the room; the quality of the cold cuts at breakfast was only low-grade ham.

Das Zimmer und der Empfang waren sehr gut. Aber Tiere im Frühstücksraum sind aus Hygienisch fragwürdig. Es waren 3 Hund und eine Katze im Frühstücksraum...Überall Tierhaare und der Mann an der Rezeption hatte wenig Verständnis für unseren Hinweis. Würde ich das Hotel weiterempfehlen..ja..aber mit der Einschränkung kein Frühstück zu buchen

Fantastic. Superb welcome. Spacious room with a lovely bathroom. A magnificent and picturesque hotel in a great location. Also worth mentioning was the excellent quality breakfast with attentive service and real cloth towels. We will definitely stay here again for our next trips to the Vosges mountains. This stay will also be memorable because of the festive season in Gérardmer.

Excellent welcome. The room was quite large (3rd floor), renovated, clean, with a lovely, functional, and very clean bathroom. Breakfast offered a good selection (fried or boiled eggs would have been welcome), and the staff were very pleasant. The small private parking area was a nice touch. The Wi-Fi was good for working (but the desk was very small!). The main drawback was the restaurant designated for the overnight stay (a pizzeria), which was of rather poor quality (although the service was also good).

The hotel provided a good experience, both in terms of the room and breakfast. However, the bathroom mirror lighting was quite poor and could be much brighter. The only drawback in the room was the noise of the fluid in the radiator. Fortunately, at setting 3, the radiator was working properly and the noise was minimal. For breakfast, the option of soft-boiled eggs (with an egg cooker) would be a nice addition. Below, in the "Your Stay" section, the word "property" should be replaced with "cleanliness."

Beautiful room with a large bed and a very comfortable bathtub. Very nice all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet, sweet and savory, fresh fruit juice and good crusty bread, nothing to complain about, very good.

Our 6th or 7th stay at the Bains, always in the room with the sauna (mainly because of the extra space; we haven't used the sauna yet). The hotel is a truly "beautiful old building" with a large, creaky staircase covered in red carpet, a modern breakfast room, and a small bar for relaxing. Our room and bathroom were always clean, but the bathroom is a bit dated and could use a little refresh. Exposed pipes are no longer a thing in 2025; a little cladding would suffice. To the lake (to the left) or the "city" (to the right) with its restaurants is a 5-minute walk. Breakfast is always plentiful and offers much more than just a croissant and coffee. During our last stay in October 2025, much of the packaged plastic was finally gone: cheese in chunks instead of plastic. I think the price is around €12 per person. The receptionist had a very good restaurant recommendation (villa loca) for us over the phone, as our original destination was closed and the alternative didn't answer the phone or respond to emails. Since we were enjoying classic Alsatian cuisine the rest of our evenings, the Iberian detour was just the ticket. A perfect stay in an owner-managed hotel; we highly recommend the Hotel des Bains. Please don't expect a one-size-fits-all Accor experience.

Overall, between good and very good. Improvements could be made if possible: The parking lot is a bit narrow, especially with the electric charging spots. Sometimes you can't get out and you're stuck until the one or two electric cars leave.

Very warm welcome, good hotel, just missing an elevator to make it perfect but the team is there to help you, good bedding, very good breakfast, good aperitifs at reasonable prices, and above all the half-board formula which allows you to eat in external restaurants at reasonable prices (we recommend the restaurant de la Perle for the quality of its cuisine and on the terrace (to be reserved in advance) We will come back with pleasure

A very good stay at the Logis Hôtel des Bains. The staff is very welcoming, both at reception, at breakfast and at room service. The free and secure parking is a real plus for parking your car. The room was clean, a good size accompanied by a very nice bathroom with a large shower tray. The point to improve would be to change the bedding. The mattress was quite soft and the back pain was very present in the morning. In addition, it would be interesting to put a small extra fridge in the room to keep 1-2 small bottles of water cool in summer. Regarding breakfast, it lacked a little variety on the savory part but the sweet part was very good :) Even if there are some small areas for improvement, I totally recommend this hotel, especially its location close to the lake and the center, its very kind staff and its comfort :)

Excellent welcome, quiet hotel, easy access, helpful staff, excellent location, clean and functional room. A kettle with coffee, herbal teas and tea in the room would be a nice idea.
It's an older, smaller hotel, but it has a certain charm, with modern, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and a nice bathroom. The staff is consistently friendly and accommodating. Only the bar opening hours could have been a bit longer, perhaps until 11 p.m. would have been nice. And warm egg dishes for breakfast would have been the icing on the cake, given the otherwise delicious breakfast buffet; the baguette and cheese were particularly delicious.

A very nice discovery, a cozy and comfortable establishment, with spacious and functional rooms. The only downside: the lack of an elevator and the air conditioning that didn't work in my room. Otherwise, the rest was perfect!
The hotel is well-renovated and conveniently located near the city center and the lake. Opt for rooms facing the back, as the front is noisy and busy. In this heat, air conditioning, a fan, or a bottle of water would have been very welcome.

Die Straße vor dem Hotel ist stark frequentiert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom See entfernt.

Shutters that don't close and curtains that aren't blackout. There's a bit of an annoying smell of sweat from a waitress at breakfast in the morning and some angry dogs.
