Very generous and delicious meal, typical of Alsace. Good bedding, room a little small for my taste. Good customer service.

Wir hatten ein Duplex-Zimmer im dritten und vierten Stock und wir fanden, dass das Zimmer unter den gegebenen Umständen ideal eingerichtet war - man muss sich bewusst sein, dass es ein sehr altes Haus ist. Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und kommen sehr gerne hierher zurück.

Beautiful restored 14th or 15th century building. Good value for money. The restaurant is within the same walls and is managed independently of the hotel. Beautiful, very central location in town. No parking, which is the only downside.

Great hotel with very friendly staff. Only downside, the room was nice but the shower was a bit small. I couldn't get in. Height too low for my 185cm and the doorways weren't wide enough.
Surprisingly comfortable accommodations in a charming heritage hotel located in the heart of Obernai. A warm and friendly welcome awaits you. A discreet entrance is available via the alleyway, and free parking is available next to the church, less than 5 minutes away.

A necessary breath of fresh air
I was immediately welcomed kindly by Mrs. C.; the hotel has retained its original character, yet with a touch of modernity and comfort. The day I arrived, there was the town market, which was interesting to see. My stay was perfect; it's close to the center of Obernai and the tourist office. If I return to Alsace, I will definitely stay at the Hotel La Cloche again. Thanks to the entire team at the Hotel La Cloche.

The hotel is well located for visting Obernai and surrounding towns. Parking is easy and close by. The rooms are clean, well-appointed and the first two floors are elevator accessible (be sure to specify on reservation.) Staff is friendly and helpful.
I only had one night here but am already planning to return for a longer visit! Staff were so friendly and patient with my many questions & limited French. I felt very, very welcome. Room was perfect - soft duvet & pillows, blackout curtains, and windows that actually open to capture that cool morning air, and has the architectural elements of the medieval times. Location is right in town center, easy walking to everything. Value far exceeds the cost. I am thrilled to have found such a gem in Alsace!!
Excellent location, spacious and comfortable rooms. The only negative was the pillows, which were too high for those with neck problems. The breakfast was limited and sparse.

Wir waren auf einer Radtour durchs Elsass. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Das Zimmer war schon vor der Zeit fertig. Die Klimatisierung war ein Segen, da draußen knapp 30 Grad waren. Unterstellmöglichkeiten für die Räder waren vorhanden. Wenn es überhaupt etwas zu bemängeln gab, dann, dass es anstelle der Dusche nur eine Badewanne gab. Rein kam man gut, raus eher nicht. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.

No restaurant, no draft beer, but the warm welcome makes up for it... and right in the city center. The Freiberg restaurant is recommended, a top-notch.

A very professional and pleasant team (family and staff) in a very beautiful setting. The only downside to this restaurant was the noise from the street despite a modernized room with air conditioning (it was impossible to sleep with the window open!)

The stay was wonderful, in part from the great staff that took care of us for the week. The breakfast was perfect, the concierge services was great, the room was also very nice with a comfortable bed and bathtub. The maid service cleaned and changed sheets everyday. We would stay here again without question!
