Very satisfactory welcome, however the soundproofing of the rooms leaves something to be desired and breakfast is not worth the 11.50 euros for 1 freshly squeezed orange for 2, bread not fresh, jam already started at the end of the jar. Too bad because this hotel has potential.

Impeccable room as well as the bathroom, the restaurant menu offers a large choice and the dishes are very well served, the same for breakfast, the staff as well as the owner are very pleasant and professional.
We were delighted with our stay at the Hotel d'Angleterre in Saint-Calais. This was our second stay. We were treated to an air-conditioned room for the same price.

We were a group of 3 who had book 2 rooms. We were attending the Le Mans 24hr Motor Race. We usually book via booking.com and stay at the Le Pressoir Hotel in Saint Calais, but unfortunately, they were fully booked hence we stayed at the Logis Hotel d'Angleterre. The hotel was clean and staff friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, we could not access the Wi-Fi. The staff tried to help, but all 3 of us could not get access. This was an issue as I unable to check the transaction on my travel card which I needed to know so that I had sufficient funds to pay the Hotel cost. Managed to access Wi-Fi via McDonalds of all places, but very disappointed we could not access the Wi-Fi at the hotel.

I came for the 24 Hours of Le Mans, less than 30 minutes from the park-and-ride (without the Le Mans traffic). Pleasant setting. Very warm welcome, spotless room. My only comment: the pillows could be a bit thicker.
We were very satisfied with our stay at the Hotel d'Angleterre in Saint Calais. We found all the comfort we expected.
The restaurant was horrendous! The quality of the food was terrible and unappetizing. The sauce was too sweet, my meat was not cooked as expected, and the side vegetables were not complementary to the protein and felt like a last-minute thought (leftovers). We ate 3 meals, and all were extremely disappointing.
