Bel emplacement, service sympathique, chambre spacieuse et calme.

A notre arrivée le personnel a été très agréable,la chambre petite mais très propre avec une belle terrasse.Le repas du soir au restaurant a été très bien, bons plas très frais et bien servis.Nous y retournerons.

I came back after a first stay

We received a warm welcome. Our room was very clean, although it smelled strongly of chlorine when we entered, but we opened all the windows and doors. The hotel's location is very quiet, on a hill, and offers fantastic views. We used the pool behind the building and were able to relax after the long drive. In the evening, we ate in the hotel restaurant. The food was incredibly delicious and of very high quality. The wines were also excellent. The beds were comfortable, although our daughter's bed squeaked quite a bit when she sat down and turned over at night, but we slept well. Breakfast the next morning was ample and very good; nothing was lacking. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Room with a stairwell box passing through the room = noise from passing by. Access to breakfast involves stepping over the cleaning lady's vacuum cleaner hose at 7:45 am? Breakfast room not cleared; you have to clear it yourself to free up a seat. Incredible noise coming from the kitchens during breakfast, like ventilation or something else

The room should be checked before beding Renten out. There were several beetles in room and bathroom. But this is the only criticism!

An unusual place where you immediately feel at home. Quality food without any frills. Breathtaking view. Complete lunch. The place inspires calm and serenity, making it well worth a visit. I will definitely be back.

A charming yet modern hotel in a great location with beautiful views of Dôle and the surrounding countryside. The village itself is lovely, with pleasant walks. The welcome is warm and the staff attentive. Half-board is available. The evening meals are good, with a wide selection of regional wines. Excellent value for money. A wonderful discovery and, coming from Belgium, highly recommended for a stopover on the way south to the ski resorts, etc., as it's close to the motorway.

I arrived late, but after some phone conversations, I knew someone would be there to greet me. The hotel is located 5 minutes by car from the center of Dole, in the middle of the countryside in a quiet and very pleasant location.

The mattress is wrecked. There are things lying around in the hallways. The service at the restaurant is unprofessional.

A car breakdown forced us to spend a night here and then a second night by choice. Accommodation exceptionally comfortable in terms of a really superb mattress and nice pillows; so comfortable - not something always easy to find even in more expensive hotels. The shower was great - non-slip enough to be able to go barefoot rather than in flip-flops, good shower head and plenty of space in the well-maintained and pristine cubicle. The room was warm on a very cold night and in the summer would have been lovely with its charming terrace. Dinner was superb with excellent wine and dishes of local produce; and in the morning there was a delicious choice of things for continental breakfast. I imagine in the summer it's a wonderful walking area in a glorious countryside location with sweeping views downhill and a great terrace on which to have drinks. We would definitely stay here again purely for pleasure.

This Logis hotel boasts an ideal location and a remarkable team, demonstrating exemplary professionalism. The food is of excellent quality, both in terms of the flavors offered and the service. The only slight drawback concerns the lack of discretion of a neighboring guest, whose door slams could be heard through the wall. This is more a matter of courtesy than a problem with the establishment itself. In any case, I highly recommend this hotel, whether for an overnight stay or a longer holiday.

We ate and slept very well, very dog-friendly.

Overall, a decent establishment! However, the staff does not have the skills required to manage this type of hotel. After two fire alarms during the night, where NO ONE took responsibility for removing guests, room by room, as a safety measure, it is difficult for us to give a positive review!!! We nevertheless welcome the breakfasts offered the next day.

Charming welcome, everything is done to ensure everything goes smoothly. Despite our late arrival time, we were offered a "small" plate of charcuterie, in fact literally gargantuan! NB: The rating for ease of access should be attributed to the GPS which misled me...

Old style hotel, requiring modernization work, especially the bathroom, broken lock, bathtub, water floods the bathroom, the drainage does not work well, the decoration is from another age, the bedding is not bad, access to the rooms by the stairs is not easy.

Very Nice location and friendly staff. The hotel is simple but very clean and comfy. It is possible to have dinner which was simple but delicious. If you bring a dog the place is very suitable with very dog friendly staff, you could bring the dog to the restaurant and the surroundings are perfect for long walks.

We had a great stay at the Chalet du Mont Roland. The room was very clean, air-conditioned, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for a good night's sleep. The restaurant is simply excellent, with tasty and well-presented dishes. Special mention to the staff, who were truly warm and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel also has a swimming pool, which we unfortunately couldn't use because it was closed due to a strong wind that blew leaves inside. The location is ideal: quiet, yet well-situated for exploring the region. A great place to stay that we recommend without hesitation!

Lack of cleanliness and comfort. Bad odors in the rooms. Trolleys with dirty plates are lying around the hotel reception. This doesn't make you want to come back. It's a shame because the location and staff are pleasant.

A rural setting, a few kilometers from Dole. We really appreciated the welcome and humor of the owner, despite our late arrival. The fresh salad was very pleasant and the swimming pool refreshing.

There were no power outlets in the bathroom or by the bed. Surely that's necessary these days?

Everything went well until the final moment: the hotel manager, at least I suppose so, at the time of payment, visibly could not bear that my wife answered in our name and was then mocking and on the verge of impertinence: "Madame had 1 breakfast?" answer: "yes", "so 2 I suppose?", "yes, of course", "Madame perhaps wants to check the statement?", "yes", "perhaps you also want to do my monthly accounts?", "No, but as I was a math teacher, I like to check the invoice", "it's always nice to see that the customer has confidence..." You will admit that this is not a speech that one can expect! And a few minutes before, this manager was getting angry on the phone with a woman who was asking him to confirm her reservation of 8 rooms. I think this gentleman is very misogynistic and strongly advise single ladies not to go to this establishment.

Zum 3 Mal, diesmal enttäuscht, verkehrtes Zimmer, atart gebuchtes dür 4 Personen nur ein sehr kleines Doppelzimmer, allerdings nur eine Nachtlichtlampe, die Suachkabine war zu kleun, keine Ablage für einen Koffer, kein Kleiderschrank sondern ein kleines offenes Regal, das Zimmer war nicht abschließbar.

A wonderful surprise. This hotel is located in a beautiful location, perfectly quiet, and offers excellent value for money. The room was clean, well-equipped, and the bedding comfortable. The full breakfast was served in a very bright room. We went there almost by chance, but if we ever return to Dole, this is where we'll stay.

J’ai passé un excellent séjour au Chalet le Mont Roland à Sampan avec mon chien. Le cadre est vraiment apaisant, idéal pour se ressourcer loin du bruit. Le chalet est confortable, bien équipé et très accueillant pour les animaux. La vue est superbe, et les alentours offrent de belles possibilités de promenades. Un endroit parfait pour une escapade tranquille !
En résumé, le Chalet le Mont Roland est un endroit idéal pour se ressourcer, loin du tumulte quotidien, tout en bénéficiant d’un confort optimal. Nous avons hâte de revenir !

This was the second time we have stayed here, and we plan to use the hotel again. It is a useful stopping off point between Channel Tunnel and our destination in the Alps. We travel with two dogs, and the hotel is well appointed for dogs. We had direct access from our room to an outside staircase and there is an expanse of grassy area for the dogs to exercise on directly in front of the hotel, coupled with longer trails through the surrounding area. Dogs are also welcome in the bar and restaurant.

There was a problem with check-in, but they fixed it quickly. The rooms were comfortable, but I think our room was above the kitchen, because we could smell all the smells coming from there. We got used to it after a while 😳. To me, it seemed like a well-run establishment, like a family place. It lacked a bit of friendliness though; I was surprised when two staff members came into the restaurant at breakfast, looked at us, but didn't say hello or anything. Overall, it was okay for the price we paid. The food in the restaurant for dinner was good, and the service was okay.

Wir haben hier innerhalb von zwei Wochen auf der Hin- und Rückreise in den Urlaub übernachtet und waren sehr zufrieden. Wir kommen nächstes Jahr wieder. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig und schön im Grünen gelegen. Es ist nicht so gut isoliert, sodass Geräusche aus dem Haus in den Zimmern zu hören sind, allerdings herrscht nachts absolute Ruhe. Wir reisen mit Hund 🐕 und das Personal ist sehr tierlieb.

A very enjoyable and convenient stopover.
Good food and a comfortable room.
My wife suffered a fall at breakfast when a rear leg on her chair fell off as she mov to get up!
She was hurt, ankle, shoulder and back of the head. Fortunately it was only bruising and soreness but still evident as I write this four days later.
However, I must commend the manager/owner
who showed much concern and sympathy about the incident and offered medical support.
I was and am grateful.

Accommodation is not the same as photos on website, photos look bright and colourful. Outside of hotel was brown and dark green and room was grey. Looks likes its being renovated but website shows a much higher quality than we saw. However foid was amazing!

88.02 euros for a night for a couple including the room, tourist tax and 2 breakfasts at 9.90 euros. In terms of value for money, I would say excellent. On the room: clean, spacious, bathroom with shower and separate toilet, private terrace, very good bedding, 160 cm bed I think, extra pillows available, well-proportioned TV with Canal + and BEIN channels, desk, glasses and 1 bottle of water available, more than enough towels, soap dispensers at the sink and in the shower. For me, who, professionally, spends at least 150 nights a year and this, for several decades, in hotels and 90% in "NOVOTEL", whose room prices are between 120 and 170 euros and breakfast between 15 and 25 euros (depending on whether there is smoked salmon or not at breakfast), I consider that for an establishment such as this one, chalet style, quiet and away from the noise of cars and other noise pollution, it is ideal, Some little extras that make the difference, such as a coffee table upstairs with a microwave, instant hot drinks, water, cups for those who can arrive late or get up very early is very appreciable and unusual. Equipped with an elevator even if there are only 2 floors. The only minor inconvenience, room 8, is that it is located next to the stairs leading to the 2nd floor so a little noise when guests arrive but so superficial compared to the rest. Very decent breakfast: cold meats, cheese, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, pastries, breads, 3 ranges of cold drinks, hot drinks everything you could need, just the addition of a cooking appliance to make a boiled egg would be welcome. Friendly and competent staff. No more possibility to write more, especially about the restaurant which is undoubtedly bistronomic, I would say more on my review on Google ...

We had an extreme mosquito problem in our room

The positives are the food was excellent, and the location very good as was the attitude to dogs.

Unfortunately the quality of the room and hotel was poor, with the flooring unsealed in areas making it a tripping hazard, holes in the walls and doors that didn't close.

But the biggest issue was you knew the air conditioning was faulty and would be so loud as the family could not sleep and yet you still put us in the room. This shows utter contempt of your customers, and the offer of a free coffee in compensation was insulting.

Charming, both the place and the staff

Very good hotel, only room 12 is a litle bid noisy. The rfoom is on the back side of the hotel and in the morning you haven some disturbing from delivery. The meals are very good, friendly staf. Very nice situated at the top pof a hil.

Beautiful exhibition of this hotel but service a little limited for the price. Disorder outside, smoking area on the side of the rear access door very limited and dirty, noisy bathroom because of the ventilation. Positive points: good bedding and pleasant breakfast in the large salke with everything you need.

Unfortunately, power cut when arriving at the hotel until the next day. So, no hot water, no light, no possibility of recharging your phone or GPS for the next day's journey and no television. I add to that, a mosquito, plus noise in the corridors which prevented me from having a decent night. On the positive side, the boss, given the situation, reduced the price of the room by half.

Very nice stop on the road to the holidays. Quiet hotel and relaxing environment. Very warm welcome and quality restaurant. Special mention for the apricot vacherin: exceptional. Dogs accepted.

Everything was good. Pleasant 1-night stay. Very warm welcome. Just one point: there was no hot water. Fortunately it was very hot, it made it possible to bear the cold shower.

Too bad that in the evening I was given a dirty table that was sticky everywhere and had not been cleaned.

The hotel was easy to find and there was loads of car parking immediately outside. Check-in was adequate but we weren't exactly bowled over by the warmth of the welcome! What passed for the reception was a bit of a mess, it looked like they were in the middle of a construction project......with lots of bits of paper stuck to the walls.
In the final analysis we were checked in quickly and found our way to a very nice room with fantastic views and a tremendous air conditioning system. Our evening meal on the terrace was lovely and breakfast was simply very french. If you like french "character" hotels, this is a good one.

Easy to check in with a room key within 5 minutes. The staff were unfailingly helpful and cheerful. The dinner was excellent with outside seating and magnificent views. The breakfast was excellent and the check out process straightforward. I would recommend this hotel unreservedly.

Our room was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. The only issue we had was the fire alarm coming on at 1 am. But it soon went off and we went right back to bed.

Beautiful geographical location, calm and soothing environment. Smell of sewer and smoke in the room, too bad! Alale fire started in the middle of the night, stressful!! Really decent breakfast for 10 EUR. Hotel deserves a good refresh. Helpful and friendly staff

Fijn hotel, ruime kamer met terras. Tuin met zwembadje en heelijke ligstoelen. We hebben s'avonds heerlijk gegeten in het restaurant.

Ideal for a stopover on a long journey from north to south (or vice versa). Magnificent site where this welcoming, well-equipped and quiet chalet is located for a rest. In addition, the restaurant allows you to have a good dinner.
