Logis Hôtel Borel

A very pleasant hotel in a great location. The room was spacious, quiet (despite the window facing the street), and very clean. The bathroom was perfect (large shower, good water pressure on the 4th floor). The staff were discreet and professional. The breakfast was plentiful and varied (though a bit pricey). We were very happy with our stay at this hotel and in general with our time in this city.

The staff was awesome and the room was very nice. As I approached my room I felt that I was entering a very luxurious accommodation. When I asked for something at the front desk, the staff didn't hesitate to provide it for me. All said and done, I would definitely stay there again. My only complaint was the Internet WiFI. It was very slow for me.

Everything was perfect

We loved the hotel and the staff were very helpful. The rooms were very clean. We felt for a 4 star hotel the coffee and tea in the room was very poor. We had 1 tea bag and 1 coffee and it was not replaced. There was no comfortable lounge to have a drink before we went out or a coffee in the day. No bar service was offered or coffee.

Very nice hotel, we got an upgrade to suite ( we are regular customers in other hotels nearby, I guess that triggerd it.. and the fact to low occupancy) Value for money is okish.. if you know other hotels nearby are at 50% of the rate ( 50/60 /night after discounts genius 3 + cachback) , it's a point to work on ( for suite it's OK.. for a normal room you are rather expensive)

Wifi on phone worked fine.. only the TV ( with netflix a.o) did not connect properly, i assume you will need to add the MACC adress to the ACL so that the TV does not need a ticket for internet access. I mentioned this at day 2 or 3, but did not get resolved during our stay. the fact that TV has not beenupdated for 2 years makes me think it lost connection long time ago.

2 nights spoken in said hotel. Personeel heel vriendelijk en mooie kamer. Groot is more likely to be in the toilet. You will have to wait until 11 p.m., so you have to wait and see!

We had a great time. The hotel was very clean, we lived the design. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was okay, a little more vegetables would have been nice (eg. tomatoes, cucumber, salad). Prices in Dunkirk are relatively high. Compared to other accomodations, I would say this is a good choice. We had ajoining rooms and it was quite noisy. In our case, this was not an issue as we travelled together woth the other couple next door. However, had they been strangers, it would have been uncomfortable.

When you enter the Hotel you might be taken aback, the reception area needs some renovation. But … please do try to get over it, the rooms are perfect, and the bathrooms are beyond perfect and stylish. And the staff is so very friendly and helpful, the location is awesome.

Large and comfortable room with quality services

We had booked a Standard+ room, we were upgraded to a Comfort room. It was a nice surprise. The room and bathroom were huge. The hotel and rooms have been renovated, really tastefully, the receptionists were all welcoming, helpful and smiling. Breakfast was top notch, varied and of high quality, finally a real freshly squeezed orange juice offered in a hotel. The breakfast staff were just as helpful and smiling and on the lookout so we didn't miss anything. The hotel has a beautiful location at the port, easy to park for free. Free bus nearby if necessary, good restaurants nearby. The hotel is about twenty minutes from the sea wall. We will gladly stay there again during our next weekend in Dunkirk.

A pleasant city hotel for a stopover in Dunkirk. Easy parking is available nearby, and it's also within walking distance of the marina, museums, and city center. The beach is also about twenty minutes away. In short, a convenient location.

We booked a suite with harbour view, beautiful room and very clean. Beds are great and the bathroom is brand new I think. Location is great.

Excellent hotel, sumptuous rooms, highly qualified staff, very professional, comfort, tranquility, modernism, style, everything is very sustained and cozy. Of all the hotels I have stayed in, this one is by far the best. You want to live there year-round. It is more than a recommendation, it is an obligation to come here as much for its charm and discretion as for the people who work there who are polite and available that unfortunately we rarely see today. Nothing to complain about, even the seagulls love it! Big, HUGE ❤️

The Bar (the room) is not sufficiently "cozy" and does not encourage people to go there, it's a shame it lacks much (decor, club armchairs, green plants). The soundproofing of the rooms could be improved. A little music in the breakfast room would be welcome.

In the city center but quiet, near the marina. Great comfort and original decor. Very low bathroom sink! 2 steps to go to the toilet! Very good breakfast but no restaurant. A free bottle of water would be welcome as at the competition for a 4 star. Villers water sold for 3 euros tastes like mud!

Hotel, recently renovated: you feel good there! The bedding is excellent, the bathroom very well appointed. The breakfasts are excellent, with careful service. The only downside: the requests made in writing when booking were not taken into account; no response upstream, too bad...

Wifi does not work completely without any power. Er was a ventilator aanwezig, but we dachten dat een airconditioning beter bij een een een sterren hotel past.

We last minute booked the hotel and it was overall a good experience. Friendly personnel that helped us with the check-in and the day after with storing luggage and calling cabs. Room was nice but it was very hot. After asking we got a ventilator, which helped.

Beautiful Hotel & rooms, only negative was a bar nearby was blaring music out loudly, we did speak to reception about being moved if it continued the whole night, which to be fair, it had ended by 11pm, otherwise they would have moved us.
Also, another mirror would have been useful, as the one in the bathroom was amazing, but if the bathroom was being used, then there was no-where to dry your hair in front of.

We were disappointed especially for the quality/price ratio, this hotel which for us does not reflect a 4 star at all. Well unfortunately, we fell on the day of the festivity (les Bordées) but that does not excuse everything, we found the room too small, a bathtub with moldy joints (which cannot be found in any promotional photos) instead a shower, no air conditioning (instead a noisy fan) and given the context of the party (impossible to open the window) apart from that, a very warm welcome and friendly staff.

Very good, just a small bottle of water available free of charge for this type of hotel quality.

We had a very pleasant stay, with welcoming staff, comfortable and clean room and splendid breakfast. We would recommend to anyone visiting Dunkirk . Only a 10 minute walk to the beach and museum. Good restaurants nearby with reasonable prices.
