It’s outdated and the rooms are small but it’s fine as an overnight stop. Fantastic view from our room. Three big negatives. Said there was bike storage and there wasn’t. Wi-Fi was awful. Cost was completely unreasonable given the standard of the facilities. At least £50 over priced per night.
The hotel was good but we were not told beforehand that while our dog could stay we could not bring it into breakfast with us. This is understandable but we should have been informed of this when booking and NOT charged for breakfast
The staff were very friendly, and of course the view from the room is incredible...
Logis Hôtel Bellevue Roscoff: Severe safety violations, non-existent staff, and false advertising!
We chose this hotel solely for its proximity to the Roscoff ferry port and the bedroom views, which were unfortunately the only positive aspects of our stay. The hotel's website explicitly states that English is spoken. This is false advertising. The lady who checked us in spoke absolutely no English. We were simply handed a key with a post-it note showing a code. Thankfully, our limited French allowed us to figure out that this code was for the front door, which locks after 10:00 PM—crucial security information that was never verbally explained. The room itself was basic, and while generally clean, the comfort and amenities were incredibly poor:
No Wi-Fi: There were two separate Wi-Fi networks available, but neither worked at all.Zero Information: There was no guest information booklet or emergency guidance in the room whatsoever.Inadequate Bedding: The double bed had an incredibly thin duvet. The second pull-out single bed had no duvet at all—just a blanket. We had to hunt through cupboards ourselves to find extra pillows.
The most serious issues involved a complete failure of guest safety and emergency protocols:Hazardous Lighting: At 5:00 AM, I took my dog outside. A small light came on briefly outside the reception door, but as soon as it timed out, the area went pitch dark. There was virtually no ambient lighting, forcing me to navigate the unfamiliar grounds entirely by my phone's torch.Unmanaged Fire Alarm: Upon returning to the building, the hotel fire alarm was actively sounding. Because there was no emergency information in the room, we had no idea what the evacuation protocol was. Worse still, absolutely no members of staff appeared to assist or manage the situation. Other guests were milling around the corridors and emerging from their bedrooms completely oblivious as to what they should do.
Thankfully, because we were catching an early ferry, we were already awake and ready to go. We simply grabbed our bags, dumped the keys on the empty reception desk, and left the building. For a hotel positioned near a major transit port, the lack of communication and the outright dangerous handling of a fire emergency are unacceptable. I strongly advise travellers to look elsewhere.
Peaceful night in Roscoff, 0-20 m from the sea
Comfort, cleanliness, friendly staff, pleasant welcome
Great sea views from our family room. Very comfortable accommodation. Easy to park outside.
Very good accommodation, been refurbished since our last visit. No lift so not suitable for people with disabilities. Always our choice in Roscoff!
Lovely room. Small but overlooking the harbour and walking distance into Roscoff for a great seafood meal… and 4 mins from the ferry terminal the next morning.
Beautiful old-fashioned hotel, breathtaking view.
The hotel is very well located, a 10-15 minute walk from the center of Roscoff and the same distance from the ferry terminal for the Isle of Bath. The room had a sea view. The free parking was a definite plus. Wearing sneakers is recommended due to the cobblestones in the town center, which allowed us to get around everywhere on foot without needing a car, enjoying beautiful sunshine and avoiding the heatwave. A very pleasant hotel with a warm welcome.
Very warm welcome, family-friendly place, very good interactions.
What can I say? The hotel informed me at 5 pm that the room I had booked had been damaged by previous guests (why not…) and had to be condemned. Consequently, the hotel couldn't accommodate us… no alternative offered, just figure it out yourself! We were hiking the GR34 trail, so needless to say, our options were limited! A bitter experience.
Great view and very clean!!
satisfied with our stay
Good location for Roscoff and access to ferry terminal
Lovely hotel, nice room. Fab sea views and very good overall. The only thing to improve would be to be able to get a drink or a coffee to have outside in the lovely courtyard.
Small hotel, slightly removed from the center (which is very easily and quickly accessible on foot), free port parking directly opposite. Overlooking the sea. Rooms with superb sea views.
Just the nicest people you could hope to meet.
Expensive for the size of room
Big bed in small room made it difficult to get round the bed. No mirror over dressing table. Bottom sheet rather rough. No hot water on the morning of our departure.
The room was decent and had been renovated, as had the bathroom, with a very nice view of the port. The carpet was a bit worn and the wall lights above the bed could use a dusting. Otherwise, the room was perfect.
Very professional welcome. The rooms were adequate, although a bathroom refresh would be a plus.
Charming welcome and beach right across the street 🤩
Very dated We paid €125 and it was not worth that at all! The hotel is relying on its beautiful view but I can look at that from the pavement for free. The staff were pleasant and if it had cost around €60-70 I would have accepted that but the hotel is out of date and ‘tired’. Our room was clean but uninviting with a smell of damp. We have been in France for two weeks and all our hotels have been great including the one we stayed in for our first night in Roscoff. We would have stayed there for our last night but sadly it was full. The price was similar but it was far far superior
Very friendly and efficient. It is a nice boutique hotel, very clean and good friendly staff.
A great location with sea across the quiet road and a lovely walk to the centre of Roscoff
A very warm welcome, the room is comfortable and the sea view is perfect. Live sunset!
Despite a warm welcome, breakfast somewhat dampened our stay. It was almost exclusively sweet. To get anything else, you have to drive into town. Not ideal in the morning!
Excellent welcome. Small room, but with a superb view.
Excellent location. Superb sea view. Very clean room.
We have stayed at this hotel many times before catching the ferry. The high standard has never slipped over the years we have stayed. Every time we are made welcome, the hotel is always very clean, decor in very good condition. Great seaviews and easy access to the ferry port
End of season accommodation. Standard breakfast. Small, clean, quiet sea view room (were we the only guests?) Reception reluctant to apply Etik benefits (deduction from our loyalty check)...due to ignorance of the "Logis Hotel system"?? It's a shame because our customer number gives access to our account and therefore to our loyalty points
Enjoyed the view and quiet location. The room and corridors smelt of stale cigarette smoke and we could hear other guests coming and going. Rain overnight was also very noisy. Shower cubicle was very small though actual shower was fine
Pleasant and helpful staff
Very pleasant hotel and welcome. Cozy, family atmosphere. Magnificent view. Very clean, nothing was missing.
Great location, very friendly and helpful. Easy to find and park
Well located hotel. Lack of soundproofing in the rooms which means you can hear absolutely everything your neighbors are doing.
It's not possible for a person of average or heavy build to stay at this hotel. The shower is inaccessible. A simple apology was barely uttered in response from the receptionist. Shameful for a room costing 130 euros a night.
Charming hotel
Hello The price of the room is quite expensive one hundred and forty-four euros for one night and not great Dogs are allowed we are asked for ten euros more Breakfast is ten euros baguette a little butter jam and a croissant I am not great
Very pleasant stay. Exceptional view! Very clean hotel. The €10 breakfast could be improved with better quality products (bread, jam, orange juice).
What a delightful little hotel with wonderful views. It was quiet and peaceful with a very comfortable bed and the check-in was very welcoming. Unfortunately we only stayed one night as I booked it to be near the ferry for an early departure. If I had known how nice it was, I would have stayed for 2 nights and spent more time exploring the town.
We stayed here after arriving in Roscoff one evening, beofre driving down to the south of France the next day. The accommodations were clean, had good amenities. The staff were very friendly; even though I had next to no French spealong ability they still seemed to understand! Breakfast was nice, not a big selection of foods but it was still very enjoyable. Lovely cup of tea and coffee too, just what was needed. The area the hotel is in is beautiful too.
The only downside was the wifi connection. It would sometimes drop out completly just by moving from one side of the bed to the other. But when connected it worked fine.
The hotel is very well located, not to central but still very practical to walk around Roscoff from the hotel.
The room view on the Roscoff's harbour was amazing and the bed was very confortable
We stay every year in this hotel, as it is both very convenient for the ferry port from Roscoff to U.K., and is also very good value for money. The room is small but has everything you need - shelves, hanging rail, TV (although we never use that) etc. There is a toilet separate from the bathroom, and the bathroom has a good sized bathtub. There is a lovely view of the coast and harbour from the large window. The only slight criticism is that the shower above the bath wouldn’t point in the right direction, and unless held in the hand, the spray went over the bathroom floor!!
It's a shame to accept dogs (with a supplement of €10) but not to allow them to accompany their humans in the breakfast room...
Made to feel very welcome. Great location with super view.
A pleasant seaside hotel with a sea-view room. A 10-minute walk from the center, with easy and free parking. Very quiet.
Very clean facilities
Basic but cosy room with a sea view.
Staff friendly and welcoming.
An extra €10 for a great breakfast.
Great position...rustic style accommodation
.
Die Lage ist der große Pluspunkt!!
Die Chefin des Hotels hat uns sehr geholfen!!
Lovely hotel in a great position beside the sea (3 minutes from Roscoff ferry port too). Spotlessly clean and friendly staff.
Charming hotel, stunning seaside views, easy-access parking, very warm welcome, very clean accommodation.
Very well located hotel, just a stone's throw from the historic center and facing the sea. Easy parking for one vehicle. The staff and owners of the hotel are very kind and attentive to their guests, making you want to come back.
Room with magnificent sea view, very well received, the staff super competent and very friendly, thank you for this stay
Great position and view. Friendly service
Excellent location, near to the Ferry Port. Friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms. We've stayed there lots of times. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Roscoff.
We stayed overnight before catching the ferry and it was fine for that. However, the bedroom was quite cramped and the bathroom a little tired.
Fabulous location loved the view and sound of the sea. Room fine for an overnight stay.
Many thanks
